I visited Burano yesterday, and had a great time, but my phone died at some point. When I got back to Venice, I realized that I no longer had my phone, and likely left it somewhere by accident. It was too late for me to go back for it because it was almost night time by the time I realized. I turned on lost mode on the Find My app from my mom’s phone and wrote a message to display on my phone if opened. I was worried sick, and wondered if I would ever see it again, knowing that the chances of my phone being returned to me were slim, because it could be anywhere. Today, I got a notification on my mom’s Find My app about my phone’s location. I called my phone, and a person picked up, letting us know the location of the restaurant. We travelled back to Burano, and got my phone immediately, with the battery already charged halfway. Everyone was so nice and when I offered money for returning my phone, the staff refused to accept it. Thank you so, so much to everyone for helping me and I hope everyone has an amazing day!
