Trattoria Altrove

This is hands down the best pizza in Philippines. Even in Germany i have never eaten a pizza this good and we are so close to Italy. The doe tastes fantastic and it has a good amount of toppings. Also the atmosphere in the restaurant is great. They also have really good ice cream as a dessert. And the price is very reasonable with like 500 peso for a pretty large pizza. This is a must visit for anyone travelling to Coron.

If you’re planning to dine here, arriving early is highly recommended to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience!

What a delicious find on an island of the Philippines! Trattoria Altrove serves brick oven pizza and the pizza is made well- better than some places in the tri-state area. They serve other Italian dishes but you should definitely try one of their many types of pizza. The kitchen is located on the first floor, while the restaurant is on the second. Shoes aren’t allowed in the restaurant to maintain the cleanliness of the space.

We visited the pizzeria as a group of three. My pizza was fine in terms of taste but rather bland, and there was no basil available. My partner had to vomit during the night after eating her pizza, as it was excessively loaded with cheese and oil. Considering the high price level, the quality was not justified. However, the service was friendly.

I recently tried the shrimp spaghetti and the Bolognese spaghetti; both were delicious and served in generous portions. I also had Margherita pizza, which was large, reasonably priced, and tasty as well. The restaurant does not have air conditioning, only fans. The he service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. The prices are fair and affordable. An interesting detail is that you must remove your shoes before entering the dining area😅. I'm not sure why, but it wasn't an issue for me.

Was really hesitant to try this restaurant because of the mixed reviews. Cleanliness is questionable but view from the second floor is not bad. On the night we ordered our food, we saw a small mouse and informed the servers but they seemed to just ignored it and reasoned that it might be because of the ongoing renovation beside them that startled these rodents. We really didnt bother because overall the place was clean and they didnt allow outside shoes inside, not until the mouse was under our table and brushed our feet. Overall food was great. Pizza is good and pasta is not bad. However, the following day my friend and I had upset stomachs.

Very big pizza in italian style. We did not have to wait for a long time. Taste was fine, not very special. The waitresses were extremely friendly and atmosphere was good. Pricing was maybe a bit higher then other restaurants in town but nothing crazy.

Not sure if operating hours are accurate bcos I went there at 12nn and it was open. The portion was HUGE, the toppings were generous and the crust is so yummy Mango shake was delicious too
