Trattoria Altrove

We celebrated my wife’s birthday at Trattoria Altrove, El Nido, Palawan, and it was truly a memorable experience. The ambiance was warm and cozy, with a relaxing beachfront view that made the evening extra special. The rustic design and soft lighting created the perfect setting for a romantic dinner. The food was excellent, their pizza and pasta were authentic, flavorful, and served fresh. Portions were generous, and the quality exceeded our expectations. Despite the busy night, the service was smooth and efficient. The staff were attentive, accommodating, and added to the overall positive experience. Celebrating such a special occasion here made it unforgettable. If you’re visiting El Nido and want a place with delicious Italian food, great service, and a beautiful atmosphere, Trattoria Altrove is a must-visit. Highly recommended for special occasions, couples, families, and friends.

Everything we ordered here was so delicious! We tried the Panchetta con Tartufo and Quattro Formaggi pizzas, recommended by the staff, and they did not disappoint. The salad and drinks we ordered were also really good. While the food took some time to be served, it was definitely worth the wait. We were seated around 5:20pm, and the restaurant began to fill up around 6:00pm. Staff were pretty friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a great dining experience with a nice view.

Amazing service and best lasagna I’ve had in a long time!! Even better than some I’ve had in italy. The place was super clean, gorgeous ocean view and the staff were amazing. I cant recommend this place enough!

Went there on Nov 29, 2024. Food quality : Solid 5 star food quality. Nothing to really pick a fault on. (unlike that garbage Italian Pizza house "toto e Peppino in Alona, Bohol) Service : Pretty fast and good as well. However, I asked for some house water and it was not served. Cant even give some water? That is questionable.. Also the table mat, mine had a hole. They shouldnt use it. Lastly, they accept only cash that means, the owner will do a huge tax evation which i also understand.. Overally, great food.

Really like the pizza here we had the 4 cheese and we customised one with pepperoni, ham and garlic. Don’t forget to try the chilli oil

I just had the *best* pepperoni pizza 🍕 right on the beach! The crust was perfectly crispy, and the pepperoni had a delicious little spice to it. The view of the ocean 🌊 was incredible, making the whole experience even better. Definitely a must-try if you're in the area and craving some amazing pizza. #beachpizza #pepperonipizza #oceanview

Pretty good food! I was very impressed with the pizza and pasta, the quality was definitely there. Garlic forward dishes (much appreciated)! Beautiful sunset view.

This is a nice change up if you want something different than Filipino food. The pizza is woodfired. I would say outside of Italy This was a pretty good pizza. I ordered the Hawaiian pizza by mistake, but it was actually good. The pineapples were fresh and The ham did not have a processed taste.. This has a nice casual date atmosphere. However, it can get a little stuffy as there is only one window and only one table for two near it. Surprisingly, it is right next to the beach but you wouldn't know it. the decor inside is nicely done. If you want some thing even more casual, they have another location across the street With an open air rustic environment. Fairly priced dinner menu.

There are two Trattoria Altrov'e branches in El Nido: the restaurant near Corong Corong Beach ("Trattoria Altrov'e Italian Cuisine" on G Maps) and the "express" in Town Proper. This Yelp listing currently has the restaurant name associated with the "express" address, so it's a bit confusing! The "express" used to just be take-out, however, as of recently, they also have dine-in! This review is for the "express" located in Town Proper, properly titled "Altrov'e Express" on G Maps. Onto the review! This place has no frills and if you can get in (I would suggest any time after 7:30pm), then do it! They've got pizza and pasta, what more could you ask for? Everyone in the restaurant ordered their own individual pizzas... this is not a place for individual pizzas, lmao. It's a pretty decently sized pizza, so I would strongly suggest sharing -- worst case scenario, you could always order another pizza! But I saw too many people leaving leftover pizza and while some people did take their leftovers back to their hotels ... it just doesn't hit the same. So definitely order a pie to share! We got the Pizza Bianca and as someone who loves tomato based pizzas, this white pizza was pretty good!! The brick-oven pizza was super flavorful and welcome after a whole day of island hopping! Apparently they offer a free ride from the "express" to the Trattoria Altrove Italian Cuisine near Corong Corong Beach -- if I had more time in El Nido, I definitely would have tried it!

Very solid wood fired pizza, with a crust (and prices) that would be at home in Rome. Not much atmosphere; try to get under one of their fans, and Palawan is hot enough without an 800 degree oven blazing next to you.
