Trattoria Amed

We really enjoyed our dinner here this evening. We had an octopus carpaccio followed by a pizza and pumpkin ravioli. It was all delicious. The service was great and reasonably priced. The restaurant itself is comfortable and overlooks the sea. The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is that there weren’t enough by the glass wine options. They have lots of wine bottles so I think this would be possible.

We absolutely loved the food here in Trattoria Amed. We honestly weren't expecting such amazing, high-quality dishes. The beef carpaccio was delightful, and the pizza was the best we've had in Bali. And the steak? Simply amazing—perfectly cooked and incredibly tender. We highly recommend both the steak and the pizzas! Unfortunately, we can't say the same for the seafood spaghetti. I'm sure normally its delicious but there was a miscommunication with the waitress. We were first served seafood soup by mistake, and then that same soup was apparently turned into spaghetti, resulting in all the seafood being overcooked. Despite that one hiccup, we loved it so much that we came here two days in a row. Its definetly our favorite spot in Amed!

Absolutely love this place! Every time I come here, the food is consistently delicious and the service is warm and attentive. They prepare everything really fast, yet the dishes look and taste like something from a fine dining restaurant. Highly recommend the tuna tartare – it’s so tender with a subtle smoky flavor that just melts in your mouth! Portions are huge, so you’ll never leave hungry. And I love the little touch of a complimentary bruschetta with tomatoes – such a simple but thoughtful detail. Cozy atmosphere that makes you want to come back again and again. ♥️

Discovering Trattoria Amed was a true culinary revelation! From my very first visit, I was utterly captivated by the simply amazing food. It quickly became my go-to spot, and I found myself returning again and again because the quality was consistently exceptional. Not once was I disappointed; in fact, every single meal surpassed my expectations, leaving me delighted and eager for my next visit. While everything on the menu is fantastic, the steak truly stands out as the undisputed highlight. As someone from a country known for its meat, and having only recently reintroduced meat into my diet, finding such an incredible steak dinner was a game-changer. Trattoria Amed's steak is cooked to perfection, incredibly flavorful, and frankly, everything you could hope for and more. If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience where every dish is a winner, especially if you appreciate a truly great steak, Trattoria Amed is an absolute must-try. You won't regret it!

leaving close to Italy, i definitely didn’t go to Bali to eat italian but i was really surprised in a good way, came back 2 times after the first one. everything was delicious and staff was nice. would recommend

Great service and lovely atmosphere, but the food?......calamari too floury....salmon very dry as cooked to a crisp. The gnocchi sauce was good, but the gnocchi themselves too cooked (again). Shame as the people were lovely and the portions generous. Oh, the sparkling wine at 650k or thereabouts was good, although it sadly only partly managed to compensate for the food 😰. Maybe the chef was having a bad night....

We had a lovely meal at Trattoria. They welcomed us with complimentary bruschetta, which was a nice touch. We ordered the Greek salad, Eggplant Parmigiana, and Spinach Pappardelle with creamy mushroom sauce, everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. There aren’t many great restaurants in Amed, but this one is definitely a must try.

We ate lunch quite late - around 3pm and they were still in service. Everything we ordered was 5/5! The Pumpkin ravioli was our favourite and the pizza was authentic (loved the crust!) The calamari, spag meatball and lobster linguine was balanced. Beyond the tasty food, one thing that really stood out to us was the service. Particularly this young man called Arya (I believe that’s how his name is spelt). His hospitality was one of the best we’ve experienced in Amed - very professional, clear communication and annunciation of words and was always observant. He was a natural! Will deifntiely be back for our Italian food cravings at Trattoria Amed
