I SO wanted to love this place. The main seating is in a gorgeous back patio area, surrounded by stone walls and under an open green roof. It is quiet and intimate, and the noises from the surrounding alleys are muffled. It was our first night in Venice, and it seemed so romantic. The setting was our favorite part of the restaurant.
We showed up early-ish, so there was only one other couple seated. A few more showed up as we were eating. An older man served us, and he was very nice.
The menu looked really good, but we were both disappointed with what we ordered. She had a pasta with crab that I actually liked more than she did. I ordered a ravioli dish that was fine, but there weren't many--I can't even remember what was in them. The wine was okay. But everything was just kind of bland, and when it came time for dessert, we were ready to get moving and find a gelato place.
