Cute place, but the waiters didn’t let us use the toilette, since be bought only drinks… (we wanted lunch, but kitchen was closed already). Not very human… Maybe you are more lucky.

Right in the South of the Island where to only road leads to, isthis Trattoria da Pina di Maniaci. We ate here twice and spent much of the day on the jetty, diving in for a swim. The food is superb, especially the pasta and fresh fish dishes. The place is really relaxed, the staff are all family while the men are in service and the mama swngings the spoons and pans. Relaxed because if it is busy, you just hang out at the sea or walk over to the light tower and back, and Voilá, you are likely to get a table. It is almost recommendable to wait a bit. Super!

This is a family owned restaurant that serves delicious and fresh seafood and pasta. Every dish that was tried was amazing, maybe except for desert. They need to work on that. This was one of the highlights of visiting this island!

This place is amazing, the food is to die for prices are moderate and the atmosphere doesn’t get any better. One of the best places I have been to.

The best food we had on Vulcano! Wonderful little restaurant located right at the sea at Gelso, Vulcano. Very friendly staff and fantastic fresh fish every day. Enjoy the crudo and tagliata di tonno - or one of the many other pasta and fish dishes with a glass of wine. Open only during lunch and dinner times, check out opening times and call to make a reservation. A true hidden gem! The drive down to the restaurant is also a great experience itself with wonderful views.

Location of the restaurant is amazing and the beach is wonderful, our favourite in Vulcano. Very much recommended (pasta and mussels were wonderful). Clean toilets, useful for the beach. Amazing to have a cold beer when swimming in the sea! Will visit again.
