€3 Cover Charge – As explained by the waitress, the cover charge includes the bread placed on the table (whether you eat it or not) and a few other items. Even she, as a local, pays it—so it’s not just a tourist thing, so they claim.
For my appetizer, I ordered an assortment of sliced meats (€18), followed by a house special not listed on the menu: seafood lasagna (€22). I also had a glass of white wine (€9). I initially thought the wine was €5, but wine isn’t exactly my area of expertise—perhaps I ended up with a different pour. Ignorance is bliss?
The meats were solid. The seafood lasagna was tasty, but the portion was noticeably small—especially compared to the generous pasta plates I saw being served around me. To be honest, photos of the lasagna elsewhere looked more impressive than the one I received.
Service was warm and attentive, and the ambiance was pleasant overall.
