We visited Trattoria Delia during our first trip to Burlington two years ago and had an incredible experience, so naturally, we made reservations to return on this year’s trip to Vermont. Unfortunately, I think this visit will be our last. Two years ago, we ordered their meats, and everything was phenomenal. This time, we decided to try their pastas, and it was a mistake. How an Italian restaurant of this caliber can mess up pasta is beyond me, but it was bad. My husband ordered the bucatini all’amatriciana (or maybe it was spaghetti?), and it was anything but amatriciana. The pasta was drowning in a tomato sauce that tasted like Chef Boyardee, the guanciale was barely noticeable, and the whole dish had an overly watery, acidic flavor. It was awful. I ordered the mushroom fettuccine, which was better but still not my favorite. They went way overboard with the cream, throwing off the balance completely. For dessert, we ordered affogato, but our waitress walked away so quickly we didn’t even have a chance to specify whether we wanted it with amaro or limoncello. She didn’t ask, either, and ended up bringing ice cream without any topping (which was supposed to be included) and with a lackluster presentation. To be fair, the appetizers were excellent. The duck confit and crostini topped with sardines were both perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. The price-to-portion ratio for the appetizers was also great, and we still loved the cozy, romantic ambiance of the restaurant. But there’s no excuse for how disappointing the entrees were. For the price and reputation, we expected so much better.

I recently dined at Trattoria Delia and was impressed by the cozy, rustic ambiance, which created the perfect setting for an Italian meal. The service was warm and attentive, adding to the overall experience. Antipasti: - Calamari Fritti: While beautifully presented, this dish didn’t stand out for me. The calamari was decent, but the flavors felt average and didn’t deliver the “wow” factor I was hoping for. Pasta: - Bucatini all'Amatriciana: A standout! The combination of guanciale, tomato basil pomodoro, and pecorino romano made for a flavorful, hearty dish with just the right touch of spice. The bucatini was cooked perfectly al dente, and every bite was satisfying. - Rigatoni alla Bolognese: Another highlight of the evening. The veal and pork bolognese sauce was rich and creamy, perfectly complementing the rigatoni. The addition of Parmigiano Reggiano added depth and made this dish a comforting classic. Overall, the pasta dishes were the stars of the evening, showcasing the kitchen’s attention to quality and traditional Italian flavors. While the calamari didn’t meet my expectations, I’d definitely return for the pasta and inviting atmosphere. 🌟 Rating: 4/5

Amazing restaurant. Showed up for reservation but made it for next night. Hostesses gave us option of table on time limit or bar. We choose the bar. Waiter was very attentive and accommodating as my wife is vegetarian, so provided several options for her not on menu. Cheese board was delicious with Vermont cheese, rissoto was great too. I had the shrimp pasta, very taste. And gelato and tiramisu topped off a great dinner. Highly recommend. Don’t be put off by entrance to restaurant.

Excellent dinner choice. The food is authentic and the service was superb. I will return and try a fish dish. I really like the outsole seating as the weather was perfect. Kick back and try a new diah!

This may have been our 10th visit to Trattoria Delia over the past 20 years? I believe the owner/management has changed a couple of times? Even still after all these years, our dinner this evening was simply delightful. Our server, Grace, could not have been more excellent. She took just the right amount of time to describe the specials perfectly and to help select the best glass of wine to pair with my dinner. She was warm, genuine, and attentive (without being bothersome). The food was spectacular. The special appetizer was so good that we ordered a second round of it!. The regular menu continues to have long lasting favorites in addition to new and seasonal deliciousness every time. And the wine and cocktail offerings are really, really good. Never a disappointment. We highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.

My now fiancée and I arrived for our dinner at 7:40 on 2/22/25 for reservation a bit early but the staff were incredibly accommodating! The atmosphere was cozy, intimate, and extremely romantic. The service was top notch! The staff was extremely attentive and very welcoming! The calamari was fried perfectly, the herb butter and soft bread was an excellent addition to our appetizer. The cocktails were excellent (even the non alcoholic!!), the entrees were both flavorful and the pasta was very fresh! My fiancé had planned a proposal and the staff were AMAZING! The dessert with the ring and rose were set up perfectly, and they were very accommodating with providing an alcohol free alternative to champagne for me due to my pregnancy. The staff were kind enough to take photos of us after my fiancée proposed, a night I will always remember! We will definitely be coming back, absolutely amazing service and food!

We visited after not having been there for many years, and unfortunately, it felt like nothing had changed. My wife had clams that were so tough she couldn't eat them. Her pasta was just ok, nothing special about it. I had the mushroom tagliatelli, which was just ok. For the prices they charge, we expected A LOT more. The server kept apologizing for how long everything was taking, though the restaurant was only about 2/3 full. I got the tiramisu for dessert, which took almost 20 minutes to come out and was uninspired. It was bland and a real disappointment. The one positive was that we were early for our reservation, but still were sat right away. I am not one to complain usually, I worked many years in restaurants, but this seems like a place that has not changed in many many years, and I am not sure I will go back again.

Waking into this restaurant is like being transported to a different world with a warm ambience and gorgeous and cozy interiors. We loved the hospitality provided by an excellent staff who were always on their feet and very professional and nice :) For starters they gave us homemade sour dough bread with butter and I’ve never tasted bread so tasty that blends perfectly with the butter ❤️ For appetizers we had the Antipasto Misto and it was the best :) For the entrees, I had the special lamb sausage with pasta in tomato sauce and parmesan cheese while my partner had the Filetto al Barbera and it was beyond delicious 😋 Each bite was beyond savory and a delight to eat. Finally, for dessert we had the tiramisu as well as the torta al cioccolato and it was heavenly ❤️ Literally, from the starters to the appetizers to the entrees and the dessert, it was a gourmet’s delight ! Cannot wait to come back to this 11/10 restaurant and try other items on the menu ! Highly recommend it for a romantic couple’s night out or a night out with family and friends 😊

Yelp
Last night my boyfriend and I decided to try dining here after looking at the menu online and everything sounded delicious! Inside is very cozy, dark, but enough light to be able to read the menus and still have a romantic feel to it. I got the zuppa di pesce, which was AMAZING. It was so good. My boyfriend got the rigatoni Bolognese. He raved over his meal as well! Our server Sarah was very attentive and knowledgeable and recommended that we paired a wine (forgetting which) with the meal. It was a great combination. This was our first experience here and we will definitely be back. Thank you for such lovely dining experience!

Yelp
Absolutely outstanding food. Truly the best in Vermont hands down We go back every year & can't get over how good it is. Friendly & courteous staff from everyone from the hostess, wait staff & bartenders. Cozy, quiet. Gives off a fancy cabin in woods sort of feel.

Joe K.

Yelp
Food was fresh and on point. Food and service was top shelf. Nice place for an intimate dinner. We will be back!

Yelp
Just went to Trattoria Delia for my brother's birthday and boy am I glad I didn't disappoint my family lol the ambience is dark lit yet beautiful like inside the tavern. The bread was served with herbed butter( first time). I had the tagliatelle de funghi and may I just say it was the best I'd ever had. My family started off with the batu (duck confit) and it was delicious! Everything was delicious and the service was impeccable. Thank you and I hope the next time I come to Vermont I'll try your restaurant again soon!

Da F.

Yelp
A cute little Italian restaurant in downtown Burlington. The food is good and the service was fantastic. You can reserve on resy. I wish the prices were a bit lower. Duck confit is the best!

Nick S.

Yelp
Excellent, quality, authentic Italian meal at this place. The dimly lit restaurant had the perfect lighting for a gorgeous ambiance. The manager was incredibly attentive and made sure that we were sat promptly and even asked us what kind of water we wanted as we sat down. This was a really nice touch to get the ball rolling and I want to commend this man on how he runs this place. Well done. Service was as good as can be expected nowadays, I do appreciate anyone who is willing to work nowadays, it just seems like no one wants to. We ordered 2 pasta dishes, Both different ragu and broccoli rabe to share. Flavor was excellent on all dishes, bread was warm and fresh, olive oil was on point, excellent! Dessert looked good too but we were too full this time. Next time! Stop in here for an exceptional Italian dining experience

Mary A.

Yelp
Unfortunately, this was a tragic meal. The first thing I want to say is that our waitress was fantastic. OK, with that out of the way, let us begin: the calamari was soft and blasted with salt; the arugula and fennel salad was limp and off-balance - a sadder version of what I make at home; the carbonara was dry and weird, with rabbit confit that could have been deboned and generally presented in a less ghastly way; the tagliatelle bolognese was the high point, and even that was not great; and finally the Osso Buco, which was gummy and flavorless and served with an anemic tomato sauce and grainy polenta. And it wasn't cheap. I'm sorry to say, but this place is a missed opportunity in the middle of a great town. I hope they can turn it around!

Chris B.

Yelp
Great Italian spot in Burlington tucked away in a windowless little cavern that is SO COZY and pretty inside. Definitely could have tricked my mind that I was in some hometown restaurant in a small Italian time. Felt like a very local spot. Prices are slightly on higher end, but well worth it imho. Solid selection of pastas, which seem to change through out the year (at least based on Yelp photo searches!). The homemade bread was on point, and the calamari appetizer was one of the better versions I've had for quite a while.

Jordan B.

Yelp
I really like this place. It used to have a dark Bavarian ski lodge vibe, that wasn't working, but now it feels lighter. Hot tip: it's hard to trust a good joint that has carpet in it. That said, although their menu doesn't change a lot, what they have is good. I know we live in a town where the locals call marinara or tomato basil...red sauce. But, not these guys. It's obvious these guys have an Italian history and can execute consistently. Best place to enjoy a date with a light pasta and a bottle of wine. Enjoy.

Julia S.

Yelp
Had a lovely dinner here. With dark wood and a fireplace, the ambiance, as others have said, is warm and cozy. The bread was some of the best bread I've had, and the butter mixed with parsley, rosemary, and a few other herbs was delicious. The ragu pasta was as well. Our waitress warned us that the lobster pasta was very "citrus-y," but we went ahead and ordered it despite the heads-up. In the end, it was too citrus-y and spicy. I don't particularly like Italian pasta dishes to be "spicy," so I would steer clear of this one. That being said, if they had a more traditional lobster pasta dish with white wine sauce or a garlic butter sauce I would absolutely go for it. Wish they did. The quality of the pasta was great -- fresh and al dente. Our waitress was personable, knowledgable, and responsible with allergy concerns. She also packed up an extra loaf of bread with our leftovers when we asked to take the bread on the table home (it was that good). Would highly recommend this place! Just avoid the lobster pasta if you don't like spicy pasta.

Craig C.

Yelp
The food was very good. Prices were in line with this area of VT. Our server was very good. A better beer selection would be nice, but obviously wine is where they focus.

Elena N.

Yelp
Excellent place. The food was incredible - the drinks were delicious! You can even get a glass of Barolo! Great for groups. Not a lot for tables for two, but two would still have a nice time. Zero complaints and all compliments. The antipasto is not what I imagine when I think of antipasto but it is what I always want when I order antipasto - the Perfect appetizer! Cocktails were delicious with lovely choices of glassware. Tiramisu was delicious. After dinner coffee hit the spot.

Michael R.

Yelp
Our first visit to Burlington VT, and happy to enjoy great restaurants, Trattoria Delia among them. The dining room is very casual and cozy, with warm and friendly service. Cocktails were top notch, and we found a good mix of traditional Italian dishes, but some with very interesting twists. We tried a delicious salad, which was not your standard green salad, but a mix of grains, cheese and apples that really did all work together. The home made gnocchi were also very good. Be sure to have a reservation, this and all the other restaurants in the area seemed very busy.

Mike M.

Yelp
Went on a Wednesday night. It gets packed really fast. Highly recommend making reservations. The service was incredible from the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out. The bread and herded butter was so warm and fresh. I typically do not order a non-pasta or typical Italian dish, but I ordered the braised beef short rib in the red wine sauce. The meal was to die for. It was extremely tender, melted in your mouth, and I can eat the red wine sauce by itself any day! Being from NY I was not sure how the cannoli would be compared to NY - but it was not bad and had an interesting twist of having lemon flavor in the cannoli cream. Will definitely go again if in town again!

Layne P.

Yelp
Best Italian food I've had! Trattoria Delia is the real deal. I love the style of this restaurant. Calm and dark atmosphere with great service. Before the meal, you will be served bread. I went with the scallop and mushroom Garganelli for my main course. This was a specialty dish. It was my first time trying Garganelli pasta, but it definitely won't be the last. This type of noodle goes great with the creamy mushroom sauce. Scallops were rich and flavorful. Amazing pasta! One thing I will add, I traveled to Italy for two weeks after eating here. This was still the best pasta I've ever had! Over all, this was one of my favorite eating establishments I've been to. I give it a perfect 5 out of 5 rating. I will return every time in back in Burlington

Alexander B.

Yelp
Had a reservation here for birthday dinner and it was a bit underwhelming. The interior of the restaurant was beautiful and I liked the overall atmosphere. First, the reservation stated it was birthday dinner but neither the receptionist nor our server noticed that. The food and wine selection were great - I'm sure everyone can find something they like here. Most of their pasta is made in house although there are 2-3 kinds that are imported. Our order took about 15-20 mins to get done. I had a specialty pasta with prosciutto and peas. It came with pancetta instead of prosciutto and had no peas. Wine was great on the other hand and so was fresh bread. Butter was very cold and hard to spread on the bread. We also ordered a cake and a cannoli for dessert but cannoli was never delivered. In the end, for $120 you get nice interior, mediocre food, good wine, and subpar service. I was expecting a lot more from this restaurant given the hype but had a pretty average experience for high price.

Melinda M.

Yelp
Another great experience. It's been four years since our last visit and we were looking forward to eating here again. We weren't disappointed! We shared a fennel salad, husband had grilled swordfish and I had pasta with wild boar in a cream sauce. Delicious! Service wonderful! Our server Lillian was attentive and helpful.

Adam N.

Yelp
Likely the best restaurant in Burlington. Walked into a beautiful bar and dining room. Low light with fireplace. Fantastic atmosphere. Delicious bread to start without asking. My wife and I started with whiskey sour cocktails which were so good we needed to ask the bartender for recipe. Had an amazing maple flavor to them. I ordered the ragu which was fantastic, and I would suggest you ask for it spicy, which was an off menu request but suggested by our awesome waitress. My wife ordered scallops and pasta and also love it. Everything was extremely fresh and perfectly cooked. The service was perfect. Great spot, will be back!

Mitch K.

Yelp
Whoa...delicious! This was our first time in Burlington and I was totally unaware that reservations on/around Church St. can fill up fast. We couldn't find anything for Saturday night but decided to call Trattoria Delia and ask for a table...the man who answered said they were full but would call back within 30min if a table became available. 20min later, he called and said he was holding a table! We walked quickly and were happy to find that it's a very cozy restaurant with great service and delicious food. My filet was cooked to a perfect medium rare and my wife's short ribs were excellent (of course I tried them!). The beet salad was great, the charcuterie plate was great, and the chocolate torte was...you got it, great. And oh, their bread is FANTASTIC with a wonderful butter. The next time we're in Burlington I'm sure we will go there again. Huzzah!

Sierra T.

Yelp
Yikes. Nothing like celebrating a friend's birthday dinner and feeling rushed the entire time.

Macheala H.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place! Food was phenomenal and customers service was perfect. Definitely gonna go back and recommend it to everyone!!!

Giovanni F.

Yelp
It's really, really, really hard to find truly Authentic Italian food in Vermont (Italian American does not count) but this place definitely hit the target. So good on all levels. No surprise they also own Verita which is the most traditional Neapolitan pizza outside of Italy. I'd love to try their Sotto place too but it never seems open.

Alisa G.

Yelp
This place was sooo cute! It almost looks like a little hole in the wall when you walk in. As soon as you enter, the vibe is super warm and cozy. We got lucky and were able to make a reservation last minute for four, so we got a table right away. My family and I love calamari so we ordered it as an appetizer and it was so fresh! Cooked perfectly. For my main course I was looking through some pictures on yelp and saw a white sauce tagliatelle dish that had scallops. I didn't see it on the menu, but I asked our waiter and he said they could make it. The pasta was delicious, but the scallops kind of had a really weird taste to it. Overall though, the pasta and sauce made up for that. Would highly recommend this one. Finally, we ordered a tiramisu for the table and oh my goodness I cannot say enough good things about it. You MUST order the tiramisu! It was big enough for the 4 of us cuz it was in a big bowl. So fresh, great flavor, and just delectable! Overall, highly recommend this place. Cozy atmosphere, kind service, and delicious food!

Emma D.

Yelp
We had the best experience here. We loved the food, drinks, waitress, and the ambiance. We will be back next time we are in town.

Jack D.

Yelp
We had great meals in a unique grotto like dining room. It's a strong Burlington Italian Main Stay.

Jonah B.

Yelp
Reservations are a must! The place has a great vibe for dining. We had the calamari for appetizer and it was lightly fried and served with marinara sauce. It was delicious but the two of us could not finish it. For entre we had the spaghetti with shrimp and pasta with ragu. Both had house made pasta which was al dente. Service was prompt and not rushed. The pace was perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant. You will love everything about your experience. We can't wait to come back!!

J P.

Yelp
Excellent Brasato do Manzo and Gnocchi Tartufato. I have not been disappointed in the dishes at Trattoria Delia. Enjoy!

Jason S.

Yelp
Amazing food! Waitress with very curly hair was extremely rude but the food and other staff were so great that they still deserve 5 stars.

Kevin C.

Yelp
This was a great dinner and ambiance. They got us a table right away, service was excellent but steak was a little bit cold once it was served. Nonetheless we would definitely return here next time we visit Burlington, they have a great menu

Lark T.

Yelp
I liked this place a lot. It had a very intimate atmosphere, the outdoor dining looked very nice as well. Although it was a little dark inside it fit the vibe of the overall restaurant. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. I appreciated the flexibility I was provided on my order, I got a dish that typically called for Gnocchi but since I am not a gnocchi fan they agreed to change the pasta for me. Overall great experience. Only critique was that the food could have been a bit hotter.

Wren Z.

Yelp
This place is outstanding. Amazing traditional Italian cuisine in a dark & cozy atmosphere with phenomenal service!

Ingrid G.

Yelp
One of my favorite Burlington restaurants. Love the atmosphere! The food is fantastic and the service top notch!

Doc L.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our pizza and anti pasta that we ordered! It was delicious and some what different from the typical pizza that we're used to. They have a nice beer selection and the atmosphere and service were great! I thought it was a little bit pricey overall but it was a nice experience!!

Jade F.

Yelp
The food here was really delicious. I came right at 5PM, when they open, to check it out. Being from out of town, and a lover of Italian food, I wanted to check this place out to see what the hype it about. Honestly, I loved the dishes and food I had here. Burlington seems like a small tight-knit community. Everyone seems to know Trattoria Delia and love the food here, even the folks at TSA when I brought my leftovers to the airport with me! I got their artichoke appetizer, spaghetti main, and a side of mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were so airy, light, and whipped. Definitely a huge fan! The spaghetti was so flavorful and tasty. Artichoke was also very nicely done. I definitely left as a fan! If I lived in Burlington, I would definitely frequent this restaurant a lot! A must try if you are an Italian food lover like myself. :)

Jay L.

Yelp
Some things went right, like the appetizers and drinks, but the entree and dessert was lacking in flavor, seasoning and doneness. The ambiance is cozy and the service was friendly, just wish the food had been better.

Billy M.

Yelp
Upon arrival, we were asked to follow the hostess down a dark dingy hallway, past the kitchen (yikes....don't look) to an adjacent dining room. Good service but very disappointing, limited, expensive menu. Portions were on the small side. Zuppa Di Pesce had swordfish which seemed unusual. Eh, at best.

Isabelle H.

Yelp
My husband and I stopped in on aThursday evening without a reservation. We were seated at the bar because there ant a seat to be had. The atmosphere was charming and warmly decorated for Christmas. I rarely write Yelp reviews , but we so impressed with our meals and the welcoming atmosphere.

Pat B.

Yelp
Food was delicious. Service can't be beat. Atmosphere is just right. This was a perfect celebration meal enjoyed by each of us. Veal, pasta, salads, everything was cooked to perfection, flavorful and so nice!

Tim S.

Yelp
OMG! Antipasto misto. Huge and amazing! Great selection. First goat cheese I liked. Ever. Super creamy and not overly tart. There was: mortadella (think bologna), prosciutto, 2 pieces of grilled bread w/soft goat cheese, hot and mild salami, eggplant caponata, black olives(strong oregano flavor), housemade sweet pickles, 2 hard aged cheeses and a soft mozzarella and a carmelized onion relish that reminded me of onion soup. Grilled artichoke hearts. Warm, charred. Warm crusty bread w/herbed butter or olive oil 14th star brewing maple breakfast stout. So good with a hint of maple Sauvignon Blanc Split order of gnocchi w/wild boar and mushrooms. Such amazing flavor! The gnocchi was soft, kind of cubed. The wild boar was super tender and full of flavor with a stroganoff-like sauce. Profiteroles filled w/vanilla gelato. Wife allergic to chocolate so they offered caramel sauce topping. Flourless chocolate torte w/salted caramel sauce. So dense almost like fudge Decaf coffee was nutty and hot. Great Italian meal. Agne, the bartender was our server and she proved to be a knowledgeable server. I would go back!

Jacqui P.

Yelp
The ambiance is AWESOME! Love the low lighting and the way the tables are set up. The fig appetizer was absolutely amazing, and the service was GREAT! However, I'm giving it three stars because both of our main entrees (bolognese and salmon) were VERY bland. Absolutely no flavor. The peas that came with the salmon tasted like they were originally frozen, and the spuds were over cooked. But again: the wine and appetizers were awesome! I would definitely give it a second chance.

Cori K.

Yelp
After a long VT hike my friend and I wanted refill up with carbs but have a good quality meal. We stood outside just looking over there menu when two other ladies came out and said to us, "Are you considering come here? If yes, it is a must. They are busy but we just left our two seats at the bar... you should take them!" So we did and it did not disappoint. The bartender provided excellent service throughout our time there, the presentation and the quality of flavor in the food was out of this world and you could see it given my expression on my face with every bite I took. Hands down with out a doubt one of the best Italian meals since my trip to Italy a few years ago. So good and worth a visit!

Melanie L.

Yelp
Strangest dining experience of my life We were looking to try something new in the area on our annual visit to Burlington and came across Trattoria Delia. We walked in and were told that it would be an hour and 15 minute wait for a bar seat, meanwhile there were several open tables on the floor. We decided to walk over to the restaurant next door named Sotto Enoteca and we were seated within a few minutes. We immediately recognized some of the staff from Trattoria Delia as they were seating groups in the same dining room as us and we were very confused. Later on, the waiter confirmed that they were the same restaurant. We felt uncomfortable knowing that the hostess in the red dress at the sister restaurant told us it would be over an hour wait, but she continued to seat other guests in our dining area. We found it strange that when we were initially turned away at Trattoria Delia, she didn't offer us the option to seat us in their second dining room at Sotto. She avoided all eye contact as she passed our table several times. That set the mood for our dining experience. We ordered calamari, filet mignon, and lobster pasta which were all mediocre. The steak came out rare when we had asked for it to be medium well. The lobster tasted old which was disappointing considering the price. Towards the end of our dinner, a group of 4 young women walked in asking if they had seating available and the waiter turned them away and told them the only open table had a reservation. We left 15 minutes prior to closing and nobody sat at that empty table. It seems like young individuals are not their preferred clientele. Spend your money elsewhere for better service and food!

My O.

Yelp
Visiting Burlington for weekend getaway/anniversary. Unfamiliar with area I checked out options on line and made reservation for a Saturday evening dinner-Trattoria Delia did not disappoint! Grilled peach wrapped in prosciutto, tagliatelle, sword fish all delicious!! Wait staff was knowledgeable about menu, attentive and sociable. Very nice experience and delicious

Glenn T.

Yelp
Had my Girlfriends birthday here. The food was great, but portions small for the price. Drinks were short for the price as well - vodka and cranberry was $11.50 for about a 6oz glass. I understand COVID and business does what it needs to survive and I'm grateful they were open. My issue is we just did not feel welcomed there. Can't explain it, but even she said they don't want us here. That being said, we'd go back when life returns to whatever normal will be.

Doug C.

Yelp
Hands down best Italian in the Burlington area. Great for special occasions or date night if you want to splurge a little bit. Never disappointed and no regrets when the bill comes. You get what you pay for and that's outstanding quality and service.

Wfwnebms ..

Yelp
The service and the meal were excellent- the calamari is extremely good and the service very welcoming. Highly recommend!!

Jen C.

Yelp
Sad that we just discovered this restaurant months before our daughter graduates from UVM. Definitely one of our favorite dinners in Burlington. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, food was delicious ms service was perfect. We had Tagliatelle con funghi, gnocchi, and fra diavalo. Everyone loved their meals, definitely recommend!

Victoria Y.

Yelp
I'm a sucker for some good pasta and Trattoria Delia was one of the best Italian places I've ever eaten! After a long day of skiing, I needed some carbs to reward myself. I'm so glad I ended up coming here. The interior looks different than what the pictures on Yelp are so I'm assuming that they redecorated. It's now a very modern, dark, woodsy atmosphere and the fireplace at the front makes it very homey. After getting seated, our waitress recited the list of specials which props to her because it was long and detailed! I ended up choosing the potato gnocchi with wild boar and porcini mushrooms from the specials while my fiancé got a lobster pasta with broccoli rabe and lemon. My mouth is drooling thinking about it because both of these were absolutely delicious. The gnocchi were like little potato pillows and the sauce was extremely savory. My fiancé's lobster pasta was great too as there was a splash of lemon to brighten everything up! We finished the meal off with house made caramel gelato and the flavor of the caramel was the most caramel-y flavor I've ever had. It was like tasting caramel for the first time ever. Overall, this was a great choice for dinner - amazing food, fantastic service, and wonderful atmosphere!
