Good local trattoria (not fine dining obviously): the decor is fairly charming in this small restaurant close to the old port of Genoa.
The trenette and the trofiette, both hand made, deliver on what they promise and the pesto is creamy, tasty, with just a hint of garlic, definitely one of the best I've tasted.
The fritto was ok: very well cooked (no gummy calamari) but the batter was too thick and somewhat lumpy. Most likely it suffered a bit of heat in the kitchen which caused the batter to thicken.
Good quality-price ratio.
