Absolutely loved this place! It was my first time trying traditional trenette al pesto, and it turned out to be one of the best things I’ve ever eaten — so fresh and full of flavor. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service made it even better. My waitress was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even more special. I’ll definitely be back!

Ligurian cuisine, but average quality of the food - the ravioli I had were not the genovese ones I am used to for more than 50 years, also the ragu that came with them. The quiches (torte) we had for antipasto were good, but the rest was somehow in the medium quality level. Not something to repeat looking at the vast choice of restaurants in Genova. It took very long for the orders to arrive, maybe because they had some tables withany guests, but that should not be an excuse.It simply means that they have too many posts to serve and too few people in the kitchen and to serve the food.

Walking around Genoa, looking for a place to eat lunch and it looked like nothing opens before noon! We spotted this place in a narrow back street and made our way back there just in time to beat the crowds that had already made reservations. This was our best meal of our trip so far, and the best steak I have tasted in years! If you can get a table, we highly recommend it

Great place to spend your dinner date; lovely and helpful staff. The food was gorgeous. We had first dish which is pasta with green fresh pesto (Genoese) then had beef fillet steak with peppercorn sauce & my husband had fish basket. Reasonable prices. They close at ten so make sure you get there early.

Good local trattoria (not fine dining obviously): the decor is fairly charming in this small restaurant close to the old port of Genoa. The trenette and the trofiette, both hand made, deliver on what they promise and the pesto is creamy, tasty, with just a hint of garlic, definitely one of the best I've tasted. The fritto was ok: very well cooked (no gummy calamari) but the batter was too thick and somewhat lumpy. Most likely it suffered a bit of heat in the kitchen which caused the batter to thicken. Good quality-price ratio.

My experience with this restaurant was great. Food was tasty (I don't remember when I ate that good) , service busy but kind. I can truly recommend it.

This is a very good and authentic Italian restaurant. We suggest eating the local and famous dishes such as the Pesto Genovese. Note: there is an extra sitting fee for each one who eats, as custom in Italy

Excellent service, location, food and overall experience. Definitely a must-visit when in town!
