Trattoria delle Grazie

A cozy little spot in the center of Genova. Local dishes at reasonable prices with quick service. For two of us, we ordered: Cima Ravioli al tocco Buridda di seppie Cappon magro 2 Crem caramel Vino bianco di casa 0,5 Lt Acqua naturale. In total we paid 68€. Everything was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere feels like a true traditional trattoria, without any unnecessary pretension. It’s better to book a table in advance. Reservations are available in two “seatings”: lunch at 12:30 and 14:00, and dinner at 19:30 and 21:30. Highly recommended!

Local guy recommended this place and i fully agree- everything was simple but really good. I’m not a fan of pesto but pesto lasagna was delicious, Also gniocci were super soft. You need to have a reservation first as they are so good and small that always full. Even if you are not fan of pesto you should try it here

Unreal good food. They sure know for the pesto, and the gnocchi pesto was terrific. Ravioli with like a bolegnese sauce was amazing. Also had a pasta stuffed with spinach with a walnut sauce. Table wine was terrific. Had to have the caramel crème, which was like a mix of tres leches and crème brûlée. Anyone that noted about this place, goes there to eat. Get there early if you have several people in your party…but enjoy it, you will!

We had a wonderfully delicious experience at this restaurant - I highly appreciate that they found 2 spots for us on a very busy Saturday evening. We had the minestrone, pesto gnocchi & fish tagliatelle as well as the desserts. Everything exceeded our expectations and also thumbs up for the wine house which in other places would be crappy but here it was quite good. We paid 46 for all this, a more than fair price. The staff was polite and super efficient. All in all, a 10/10 and would definitely recommend and come back, the atmosphere is authentic and we enjoyed it immensely.

If you want a cheap and traditional experience, then this is your place! The service is amazing and the food is also great!

We tried the pesto lasagna and it was delicious. The tiramisu, however, was more average. It's a traditional trattoria.

We just finished to eat dinner in this trattoria, we arrived and we didn’t know what to exactly expect as the reviews are so different between each other. We got the 19:30 turn and taste the filled lettuce, pasta with fish, filled mussels, pesto gnocchi and tiramisu as dessert. We have to say that each and every option was tasty and delicious. Without any hurry or pressure, we ate one by one every dish. The service was excellent, efficient and the staff polite. It’s true there are a lot of clients to take care of but we had always the waiters and owner’s attention. Prices were fair for what we got including the experience being seated in a historical place. We do recommend to go at least once in your life and eventually to avoid this place on weekends if you fear the crowds.

Our first meal in Genoa and it was one to remember! We were sat outside of the restaurant in the alley with such rustic and cultural appeal, we loved it! they did have nice seating inside if desired. the food was cooked beautifully, from the rabbit to the ravioli bolognese. Food and drinks were very cheap as well, splitting 1/2 a liter of wine for 5 euros! I can see why this place is well liked, and I would agree!

Even the locals love this place! It's literally a hole in the wall and reservations are necessary. We were the first ones there before they even opened. Thankfully they were able to seat us but it gets so busy that ppl were waiting or getting turned away. Indoor and outdoor options when making a reservation. No air conditioning inside. All shade outside. Menu is handwritten mostly in scribbles but it added such character to the experience. The food is phenomenal. Everything from the anchovies to the bread, and the pastas. We came from Milan and Florence and nothing compared to this meal. The service was great, servers moved fast and timing of each course was on point. I want to come back but we won't have time. *insert sad face*

Best authentic Genovan Italian cuisine in town! Highly recommended! Don't forget to make reservations. There was a huge line when we went to dine here, but totally worth the wait!

This is the best pasta I have ever had. And I have had a LOT of pasta. The opposite of a tourist trap... It's cheap, too - my friend and I got antipasto, two courses, dessert, and a quarter of wine and it was less than 40€ a head. A must for any Americans visiting Genoa.

Arguably THE BEST PASTA YOU WILL EVER EAT is at Trattoria delle Grazie. Think a thin silken handkerchief of perfectly cooked pasta is folded and wrinkled gently into a bowl of creamy Ligurian-almond vibrantly green basil pesto. Not to mention that it's served to you very graciously by some handsome somewhat soft-spoken Italian guy... Oh and dinner comes with a generous basket of fresh bread to soak up any extra pesto in your bowl. Tiramisu is to die for. And I probably will, since I totally over-ate for this meal. FYI pretty sketchy street after dusk.

super cute ambiance, perfect for a date night or just a nice meal with people you love. pasta is amazinggggg and everything was home made with lots of love. the waitress was also super nice! we got the gnocchi with pesto and shared mussels and it was delicious and super affordable!

Idk anything about Ligurian food bc I'm just an uncultured American tourist but to my (possibly-unsophisticated) palate the pesto was out of this world! Was visiting Genova with a friend from Milano and we were looking for some Ligurian food. Got the mandilli de saea al pesto and it was fantastic. The Brasata al nebbiolo was also excellent. The bread they served us at the start was a bit dry for my tastes, but, had I had any room left at the end, I am sure I would have found it perfect to use in sopping up the remainder of the Brasata juices. In what I can only presume was a truly authentic experience, I got an upbraiding from the waitress for taking way too long to eat / letting my food get cold because I wouldn't stop talking. Therefore, 5/5. I can never show my face here again in light of my shame so please go enjoy it for me. It's quite good: tasty, unpretentious, and more.
