We came around 14h. We ate 3 pastas which the waiter recommended. Very good pick. The pastas were all home made. The portions were big and the food was done really fast. Staff was friendly and approachable. We recommend the Pici with meat sauce, Tagliolini cherry tomatoes and garlic and pici with tomato and garlic if you love pasta. The weather was hot but on the balcony where we sat at was good temperature.

We stopped here for lunch while exploring the town and had a great time. We chose the antipasti platter for two which was plenty and a great variety of crostini, charcuterie, cheeses and more. Can totally recommend!

Our evening in Montepulciano, we found ourselves wondering the streets to discover this quaint corner restaurant. With the service to be welcoming, polite and friendly, and to have enough room to cater a table of 6 was wonderful at a moment's notice! Now let's get to the food, which each course was as surprising and delicious as the last. The ravioli , Florentine steak and Pana Cotta with fruits of forest (berries) would have to be the ultimate ending to any meal.

Fantastic service, really tasty food. Only draw back was the slightly smokey venue smell from the bbq/grill. (We left with very smelly clothes)

Genuine Italian food (I am a native Italian ;) ) served by very friendly staff. All I ate (pici with ragù, sautéed broccoli, lamb ribs) was delicious, and so looked the dishes ordered by other people.

I guess it’s what you would expect in a very touristy town. What you don’t expect is the staff not knowing a word of English and even when you try to speak the language and read off the menu (I know a little) they look at you confused. They are friendly enough. My food was atrocious. Tagliatelle with mushroom was bland and the pasta over cooked. The sautéed broccoli was also over cooked and squirted water when chewed. Also no longer nice and green. Probably devoid of any nutrients anymore. Montepulciano. Do better.

We arrived very early on a cold winters evening but were offered a seat and a drink Prosecco & a Beer & cheeses before it opened and we then ordered our food - a shared starter of meats & liver pate & then lamb chops & roast potatoes & lasagne which were all excellent- vino 🍷 nobile & a bottle of Pinot Grigio & Tiramisu & Coffee ☕️- a great meal - Grazie Mille

Yelp
Gluten free pasta options are pici. No pizza offered for lunch. Gluten free bread was still cold in the center when we got it. I also had to remind my waitress 3 times we were gluten free and she still almost gave us regular bread. My husband got the pici with tomato garlic sauce and I got the ragu. It was good and we enjoyed it but we're not overly impressed.

Yelp
I had an amazing pizza at this restaurant last month. It's a lovely place to sit at outside if the weather is nice. My husband really liked their house red wine.

Yelp
This was one of our favorite meals in Italy. Make a reservation if you want to sit out on the back patio (and with those views...honey, you want to sit out on the back patio). We hadn't, but thankfully there was a table opening up in a half and hour, so we put our name down and circled back. It's Tuscan cuisine, which is already pretty vegan-friendly, but they go the extra mile and have a vegan option under the secondi piatti menu! I believe it's a veggie burger over a salad, which I wasn't tempted by for my first dinner in Montepulciano, but I would definitely try if I ever returned (and I hope to!). We had wine, bruschetta, and pici all'aglione. Everything was amazing. I died and went to spicy garlic heaven. We watched the sun set over Tuscany and had to pinch ourselves every five minutes. We couldn't believe it was real. We would've returned the next night but it was closed. If you expect to have a long dinner on the patio (and it's Italy...so expect that), try to make a reservation a little earlier, so you're finished before the sun completely sets. Or bring a jacket - it gets cold, even in June! This place is a slice of heaven.

Yelp
Tourist trap: Was not impressed with this place. Maybe the kitchen staff was having an off day, but this was by far the worse dinning experience in Tuscany. We had a pici dish with ragu, which was ok. We also had a pizza with prosciutto - which was very disappointing: it seems that the pizza crust was precooked with the stale melted cheese, and then the prosciutto and raw cherry tomatoes added before serving. Absolutely ridiculous. Lastly we had a plate of mixed grilled meat: the meat seemed like it was not marinated, neither was it seasoned. Disappointing.

Yelp
Incredible, our best meal in Montepulciano. We went around 9:30pm and sat outside. Order: pizza with fresh mozzarella, pici with tomato and garlic, stuffed artichoke, pear almond cake Amazing service, great prices, and lovely atmosphere.

Yelp
Had a misto salad to start that was incredibly fresh, it had especially amazing tomatoes. Also had a caprese salad that was made with mozzarella di bufala that was the size of a baseball and delicious! My friend had meat lasagna and he gave me several bites, it was some of the best lasagne I have ever had. I had a Quattro formaggi pizza that was really good. It had no tomato sauce, which I didn't realize when I ordered it, but it was still really really good. My wife had the classic margarita pizza and that was also quite delicious. The crust on both pizzas was perfect. Obviously I like this place a lot.

Yelp
It's a great resultant. The seafood pasta is great. The garlic one as well. For desert go for the tiramisu it's really good! Enjoy

Yelp
Tried Bistecca a few times while in Italy. The best is found here. There might be other better ones but out of the few we tried, suprisingly the Bistecca found in this small-town restaurant is amazingly good. Meat is tender and well-cooked. We were in Montelpulciano while in December and couldnt find any restaurant open for lunch. Then we happened to run into this one.

Yelp
Came here as we were staying at one of the B&B's owned by the same family. Huge place with 4 distinct dining areas. Reservation recommended if you wish to sit in a particular area. Very extensive menu with all your heart could desire when it come to Italian food. We ordered the antipasti for two which consisted of a mix of local cheese, cold cuts and bruschetta. Delicious! We continue our meal with a truffle linguini dish which was also delicious, you could really taste the truffles in the sauce and the pasta was cooked well. We followed with a meat dish consisting of braised oxtail. The meat was a bit dry but the sauce was very flavourful. Finally for desert we had the tiramisu, not the best we've had but a solid one nonetheless. Service was very friendly and prompt. Our waitress did not speak English but we managed to communicate with her quite well regardless. Would go back if ever in Montepulciano!

Yelp
We had both a lunch and a dinner at this wonderful restaurant. The pizza at lunch was tasty and the atmosphere on the patio was perfect. For dinner, we shared the risotto and mixed grill. They made for a great pairing.

Yelp
We went here upon the recommendation of our hotel and visited a few times during our stay. Food was great and very reasonable. The pizzas were very good and the pici was just the right consistency. Try the pici truffle, it will be one of the best pastas you've ever had. I only hold back five stars because the ribolita was sub par. Everything else was delicious.
