Trattoria Garga

This was honestly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had!!! The food was absolutely incredible. Every dish looked beautiful and tasted even better. Everything was fresh, perfectly balanced, and just genuinely delicious. You can really tell they put thought and care into every detail. The place itself is stunning. The interior is stylish, spacious, and very well designed. The atmosphere feels special but still comfortable at the same time. And the service made it even better. We were served by two guys, unfortunately we didn’t catch their names, but they were amazing. Very attentive, friendly, and professional. They made us feel welcome and truly cared for. It didn’t feel like just another dinner, it felt like a special experience. Definitely a must visit. We’ll absolutely be back.

We were on our way to go to another restaurant and we stopped by Garga by coincidence. When we saw that they have Artichokes on their menu, we decided to give them a try. On our 3 night trip to Florence Trattoria Garga turned out to be the most authentic restaurant visit. Trattoria Garga not only have good quality food, their servers are very polite and friendly. Our special thanks go to Yuri, with his hospitality!!! We asked for recommendations on the wine and his recommendation turned out to be good. We shared all the food we ordered and they understood our needs and treated it with respect!! Their interior decor is also beautiful. If you are in Florence try to have lunch or dinner here at Trattoria Garga!

Came here during our day trip to Florence. The vibes, the lighting, the decor were amazing. The lighting at night really made the place stand out. Service was great. Our starter bread was stale and not so tasty. I had Tagliolini Magnifico - I've never had a dish like this before, it had a very unique taste. It was different yet very delicious.. the lemon and mint are both subtle and strong and its odd combination made it quite yummy. We also had the Fusilli with shrimp and saffron - my partner enjoyed it. They also had a great wine selection. Definitely recommend this place.

The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the food was amazing — full of flavor and very well prepared. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal. The only thing I didn’t like was that bread was brought to our table and later charged, without explaining in advance that it was not complimentary. Other than that, everything was very good, and our waiter was extremely friendly and attentive.

My Italian friend in Rome recommended this restaurant so I already knew it was going to be good. It lived up to its expectations! The service was phenomenal and the venue is quaint and decorated with lovely pieces of art. The bruschetta was lovely but the wild boar ragu took me to an alternate reality and back. It was so good!

Great restaurant in Florence to have a proper Italian dinner. Very friendly and attentive staff - such an amazing decor and design - it was so cosy. Great selection of wine and delicious pasta with local ingredients like porcini mushrooms. The desserts were also fantastic (we had classic tiramisu and it didn’t disappoint- one of the best ones we’ve ever had in Italy)

We had a wonderful experience at this place. The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. The staff gave honest recommendations and never pushed us to order expensive dishes—their service felt very sincere.

Outstanding and worth every minute and every penny. Everything was excellent. We ordered the Tagliolini Magnifico and the Penne with prawn, saffron, and shrimp… both were incredible and easily among the best dishes we had in all of Italy. The tagliolini especially stood out. The only downside was a nearby table with around eight people that felt overcrowded and uncomfortably packed. Overall, it’s absolutely worth trying.
