It has an amazing setting in the mountains and a great story but the food is very expensive if we want their famous rabbit and all the other dishes are equally expensive with starters starting from 20 euros and mains from 30 ( some pasta dishes) at 20 That said it was an experience and the staff are warm and friendly

Delightful restaurant in the mountains. All dishes were beautifully plated and appetizing. rabbit meat was full flavored and juicy. Service was great and welcoming. Yes it is touristy and theatrical, but overall it was very enjoyable.

Oh my goodness!!! We had such a great time! The scenery was beautiful up out of the hustle bustle of the town, food was outstanding! So full of flavors and the presentation like nothing we'd seen before. And then to top it off... the tour back to meet the chef in kitchen and the underground cave wine cellar!! Amazing experience! Just what we were looking for ! A beautiful Italian island family owned/operated ristorante…food , ambiance,and service were superior! From the tasty appetizer assortment to the unbelievable rabbit specialty! Hope to have the opportunity to return someday! Thank you for a wonderful dinner !!!

Unmissable. Had a selection of small dishes followed by the famous Ischian rabbit. Loved the parmesan aubergine and mushrooms with cheese and truffle. The rabbit was tender and flavoursome with deliciously rich tomatoes. Just had room for some left for lemon tart which was creamy, zesty and sweet. Nestled in the hills, offering beautiful views from a homely setting. Warm and friendly service. Definitely keen to visit again on our next trip. Reservation recommended, we booked lunch with the kids and had the whole place to ourselves but was closed the day before and can be busy in evenings. Accessible by no. 16 bus from Casamicciola.

We recently dined at a charming restaurant in the mountains of Ischia, highly recommended by locals. The experience was delightful, marked by exceptional service that was both friendly and warm. Francesco, our waiter, was notably attentive; he even noticed my struggle with a restaurant sticker and thoughtfully provided a replacement. Sylvia, another staff member, was equally helpful and amiable. She guided us through the menu, recommending a stellar mix of appetizers that I would suggest trying blindly for their uniqueness. The highlight of our meal was their top-selling dish, “Coniglio alla Ischitana,” which was simply exquisite. We ended our meal with a Crostata al Limone, a nostalgic treat that reminded me of my childhood. This restaurant combines beautiful ambiance with excellent food and wonderful people, making it one of my all-time favorites. I highly recommend a visit!

Excellent dinner with friendly staff, however, service was a bit too slow. After the dinner, they kindly provided us with a tour of the wine cave and provided some very interesting historical context and the significance of this restaurant to the family. Aside from the very tasty coniglio (the rabbit), the highlight for me was definitely the vino rosso della casa (red wine). One of the best red wines I have ever had (still thinking about it)!!
