Friendly, welcoming and wonderful food. A great discovery in an narrow street off Via Roma. Outside was busy but to our good fortune we had to be seated in the beautiful restaurant. Really interesting quirky decor and the most friendly service we have found in Siracusa. Simple advice: try the rabbit. You won’t be disappointed.

After eating at this restaurant for the first time, we wanted to come back and try the menu almost every evening we dined in Syracuse, and we don’t regret it!
The best Pasta alla Norma we’ve ever had. The tuna meatballs were excellent. Even simple things like the vegetable plate were prepared with care and flavor.
The entire team welcomes you warmly, prices are fair and the atmosphere is pleasant, in a pretty and quiet street, away from the more touristy spots.
Thank you!

Lovely place and the food was amazing. We went in without a reservation and the had a table free for us. They speak limited English so you already know the food is going to be amazing. We ordered the pasta with meat sauce and raviolli. Both of them where freshly cooked, I believe mostly Italians come to this place because its very authentic. Price was also very good for what we had.

I enjoyed a high quality lunch today, thankfully we sat at a perfect little table outside in the shade. We started with the vegetable platter, which was an exciting array of lightly seasoned cooked vegetables we had just seen at the local market. It is hard to find nice fresh vegetables at restaurants in Sicily, this really served them all up. We also each had a pasta. I had the tagliolini with mussels, my husband had the ravioli with tomato and basil. Both were really fresh tasting, the mussels especially nice.
Service was quick, friendly and courteous. I would happily recommend this place to anyone.

We loved this cute little place. We sat down because of the esthetics. It was totally different than the “normal touristy places” in the city.
The staff and service was great and the food was amazing. You could taste that it was homemade. Especially the ravioli was very nice!

Feels like you’re dining at an Italian grandmas house. The food is simple and tasty, all made with fresh and local ingredients. A great spot for a touristy area.

This place seriously exceeds any expectations you have for a restaurant. Like many of the other reviewers have said, it really does feel like you’re coming home to your family and they’re putting their soul into every meal for you. We had to go TWICE it was so good. Carlos was so lovely and delightful to speak to. We had the swordfish in lemon sauce, the traditional swordfish with tomato and capers and the most amazing mussels I’ve ever had in my life. They were individually wrapped in lemon leaves and they were bursting with flavours. We also tried the homemade limoncello and wild fennel liquor which was so special and delicious. This is a must do in Syracuse
