Trattoria La Terrazza Southbroom

Went with my family for dinner. Pizza and pastas were excellent. Special mention for the gnocchi, which was outstanding. Rare to find homemade gnocchi nowadays. Food is really good. We had a new waitress, not that knowledgeable and a bit slow at times but otherwise tried hard. Outside is ideal if decent weather, else inside is charming.

I should perhaps not comment. We did not eat here. But I want people to go. This is a gem. On other photos the food looked nice. We stopped by and I had a look around. It was empty, I do wish this would be because of the time of year/week/day. The most pretties place such a crazy CRAZY specual view (to me). The waiter who greeted me at the door was so friendly even after she knew I was still scouting the place. I think maybe it can be a bit expensive. Hope the menu pictures and view pictures might help. Please go!!!! Lol this place should be visited. Unfortunately I was out voted. But this is a lovely place. Romantic.

Consistently exquisite food over many years. The T- bone is world class! The setting sublime. The service on point!

Food was bland, totally overpriced, overrated, lost my appetite after the bad conduct of the host - thus, could only finish my starter. Could not get out of there fast enough - what was supposed to have been a special occasion, was totally spoiled by unprofessional, humiliating conduct of the host. The only decent staff there, was the car guard and the waiter (Mark). Will never ever go back there again. South coast people are known for being polite, friendly and warm towards others - but not here. Advice: Don’t waste your time or money to even go there - plenty of very exquisite & friendly places to experience fine dining in the south coast.

The food was exceptional everything tasted well seasoned and fresh. The staff is polite, the location is stunning with the river view. The internal decor and ambiance is outdated. It is definitely a place you shouldn’t miss out on, I will return again.

Beautiful restaurant at an amazing location, next to a river and the beach. We have been going to this restaurant for over 20 years (!) and the quality is still high and the menu is still very interesting. A long time ago we had a very unique desert here: licorice ice cream with lots of little bits, I still remember how good it was! My favorite of the current menu is their pavlova with a berry compote (desert), their spaghettini, prawns with Napolitano sauce is also amazing.

Gorgeous place for a lazy lunch in Southbroom. Varied menu offering traditional Italian fare, with some innovative twists. I had a brilliant prawn pizza with fresh ginger and chili. Great service from Nenne, car guard was lovely too. Definitely will visit again

Picturesque setting and beautiful views. The food was great, and the service was awesome. Pizzas were not available due to the cook not being there but will certainly return as all mains were delicious and loved the pavlova.
