This place is up in the hills and very private. The owner was very accommodating. Our waiter David’s was helpful and funny. The atmosphere is magical and the food and wine were exquisite! Try the tiaglini made in the heated parmigiana bowl! I highly recommend a visit her.

We found this place by accident. The Tortellini with Sage was excellent, so was the wine and service. The gnochi with pesto rossa was good but the sauce was not the best. The views are amazing so is the courtyard you sit in. Forgot to make pictures of the mains, as we were too hungry. The starters were good as well. If you in the area go there!

Fantastic cuisine and attentive service in an idyllic location in the hills above Florence. Well worth the cab ride! One of our favorite restaurants in Italy.

Is very difficult to decide what is better, the fresh and delicious food or the good service!! For sure one of the best restaurants!! Bravo!

Wow. A memorable experience for us. The service is exceptional, very warm welcome and recommandations. Food is authentic, atmosphere very warm too where family & couples are enjoying their time. Francesco the owner, was very attentive to us, and each tables. Good memories created, go there if you are looking for a warm, authentic, simple place to enjoy Toscane food with a friendly service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Francesco was incredibly nice. I went recommended by a friend and it was a dream come true. The view. The food. The wine. The customer experience. Amazing. Of course I already came back by the time I figured this feedback wasn't posted yet! If you are in Firenze and want to have a 10 min drive to the mountains and have a nice lunch and dinner. The best meat in the region is right at this place !!!

HIGHLY recommended. Francesco and his staff took great care of us. we started with a nice selection of antipasti (all were amazing), two pasta dishes for primo (the ravioli with ragu was amazing). Then came the secundo. simply amazing Bistecca all Fiorentina (Florentine Steak ). This piece of meat was almost life-changing, and perfectly prepared. Made from REAL Chianina beef, and so full of flavor, yet very tender. of course, the meal was also elevated by a wonderful selection of Wines. We had a selection of amazing desserts and I can assure you that I will be back here every time I am in Firenza.

We ended up here for lunch by accident, and what a delight! Located on the hills of Fiesole about a 30' taxi ride from the Duomo, it is an oasis of calm. The pastas are flavourful, and service the friendliest possible. Apparently, main courses are excellent here. Almost all other customers were local - always a good sign.

The owner Francesco and his staff made our dinner magical. GREAT food and GREAT conversation. I only wish we arrived during daylight to see the view as it was even fantastic at night.

One of my favorite trattorias in Florence and not just because of the delicious food. The location in Maiano is beautiful and overlooking the little valley. I love to get away from the noise of Florence and have a long lunch on the terrace. I usually take out of town friends here. I enjoy the crostini, some of the best in Tuscany in opinion. All of the primi are wonderful, all of them. We always get the bistecca. A delightful experience for the Florentine for sure, and I hope not too many toursits find out about this frankly, because there are no tour buses to be found here. A lovely place.

Francesco - thank you. This was easily the best meal we had in Italy. On the outskirts of Florence - up the hills past the groves. Get out of town one night to the Tuscan countryside. The steak is dry aged and wood smoked on the fire. The lasagna with asparagus and truffles is incredible, and the desserts were dream like. Not only is the food great, but our waitress was exactly what you hope for when you think of coming to Italy, and the owner is so sincerely friendly and funny. This place made my trip. If you don't go you have only yourself to blame.
