Trattoria Lo Romanì

Nice place, food is delicious, service professional but nice, atmosphere is nice too just the music they play should be better 😀 They make fresh home made pastas, porcheta was very tasty well cooked, starters and deserts beautiful. Recommend to make a booking as they are fully booked for 2 days.

The intimate interior, the service, the food…all outstanding! This is the pig and the tuna 🔥Absolutely need a reservation. We made one a day in advance. When they opened that night when we went, they were completely booked/no walkins.

“It’s simple food” the man told me in Italian, with a shrug. This may be so, but the Sardinian typical dishes here are perfect representations of the art form, along with excellent service, and a venue with authentic charisma. It’s with good reason that the locals come and dine here - wouldn’t you want this as your neighbourhood trattoria?

At first, we had a reservation 4 days in advance. We were a group of 8 people. My friends couldn't make it on time, so we sat at the exact hour only 3 people. For more than 30 minutes they didn't want to take our food order because we are not the whole table. Ok, I get it, we were a big table. After that we had to wait another 30 minutes for our food to come. In the menu there is a section with "best sellers" and one of the most ordered stuff was the sea food pasta which is mentioned to be 25€ and served with minimal amount of 2 people eating it. Okay, I get it but at the end of the night it was 25€ per person and it was written with small letters at the bottom of the page. Let me not mention that the portion was not that big, so you want to tell me that if we decide to share it among 3 people they will charge us 75€? The place is very nice but the attitude of one of the waitress was awful, the fact that they didn't want to serve us food was offensive and at the end of the day we had to pay twice more than planned.

We enjoyed a fantastic meal here last night. The food was exceptionally good. We had The Porchetto - Suckling Pig with Baked potatoes. It was the highlight of our week foodwise in Alghero. The staff were all lovely to us and a quarter litre of their house wine cost €3 - amazing value for such a great white wine. We booked the table the evening before - you need to book. We are really happy we found this hidden gem! Best food we had in Alghero for really nice prices (prices in the center are much higher for worse food). Wonderful place with wonderful and friendly people :) restaurant gives the luxury vibe but the prices really surprised us - we thought it would be higher. We definitely recommend this place and we will definitely comeback when we will be in alghero :)

Wow what an amazing trattoria, the fact that I visited it 3 times in one week says it all:) The owner is super warm & friendly, the food is very delicious with all local & fresh ingredients and the ambiente is wonderful - all in all a place where you can enjoy awesome food, while feeling super comfortable & welcomed. The pre-ordered lobster was pretty much the best dining experience I've ever had in my life - thank you!

Outstanding location for dinner! Came here with our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children). The food is fabulous - their signature dish is the suckling pig (delicious!) and we also enjoyed the fish, gnocchi, pasta with clams, and vegetables. Service was very good. Reservations are a must. Highly recommend!
