We first passed by on a Monday evening but it was fully booked so we just booked a table for the following evening. The place is very nice and food came out quite fast. Entrees were nothing special but the pasta was delicious! Fish was also good. We wanted to try some bestsellers but most you have to order for two. Overall good experience - a lot of recurring customers it seems

Cracking meal. Luckily for us we got booked in on the day but it was busy for the 7:30-9:00 slot where everyone was out (and this was a Monday!) Everything on the menu was explained when we ordered to ensure we knew exactly what we were getting. We got the mixed starters, curlurgiones, spaghetti with clams and then a Seadas. Everything was delicious but the Spaghetti with clams topped it, amazing umami flavour. Reasonable price, great service, great food.

I had this restaurant marked as a "Want to go" for a while. I tried to go on Wednesday, but they were full, so I made a reservation for tonight. We arrived at 7:30 PM on a Friday and were seated upstairs, which was a little warm, but they were very busy. We attempted to order some starters, but they had already sold out of the one that interested us, so we ordered a meat and cheese plate instead. We decided on the lobster pasta, and the server informed us that it was a large portion meant for two, so he didn’t recommend ordering a second course. Our starter was good, and the restaurant provided bibs for the lobster pasta along with crackers for the shells. When the large platter of linguine and lobster arrived, the presentation was great, and the sauce and pasta were stellar. However, we were unsure about the quantity of lobster included; there were only cracked pieces of shell mixed in, but no whole claws. Instead, we found bits of claws and fragments of the head and tail. As we continued eating the pasta, we noticed there were pieces of shell scattered throughout the dish and kept biting on them, it was challenging to scrape out any remaining lobster from the shell pieces, and having bits of shell throughout the meal detracted from our experience. At 56 euros for the linguine, it wasn’t worth the time or money. I would recommend giving the place a try, but I’d skip this dish.

This place gets fully booked so you must make a reservation. When they opened the doors they called us forward by name to avoid a mad rush. We had the suckling pig which was superb. We order a side of potato and a side of boiled spinach which went down nicely with the pork. To drink we had the local beer (non filtered)

Incredible. Honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time! I had the ravioli with gamberi and bottarga - best ravioli of my life, the flavour of the sauce was amazing and there were lots of prawns (even the bread was great and perfect for scarpetta 😉) then I had the tuna another 10/10, cooked to perfection! And I was full but because the other 2 plates were so good I got dessert, seadas - fantastic! So glad I managed to get a reservation! Thank you for making my last meal in Alghero an unforgettable one!

If you decide to visit Lo Romanì (which you definitely should if you are in Alghero) make sure to order the Porcetto Sardo Arrosto. Make that the center of your dinner and you won't regret it. The Porcetto is an explosion of flavor: extremely crispy and salty outside, tender and flavorsome inside. I think you could go there even just to have that. In addition we ordered grilled cheese that tasted like milk. Absolutely lovely. The Seada al Miele, a Classic in Alghero was also absolutely delicious. And the Corbezzolo I tried as a complement to the dessert an absolute delight. So much that I ordered a second one. All the staff was very friendly and the owner of the place had a special savoir faire. Fab experience.

Nice place, food is delicious, service professional but nice, atmosphere is nice too just the music they play should be better 😀 They make fresh home made pastas, porcheta was very tasty well cooked, starters and deserts beautiful. Recommend to make a booking as they are fully booked for 2 days.

The intimate interior, the service, the food…all outstanding! This is the pig and the tuna 🔥Absolutely need a reservation. We made one a day in advance. When they opened that night when we went, they were completely booked/no walkins.
