There was a short wait time to get a table, it might be a good idea to book in advance in of your are planning to go around late afternoon or early evening. The staff was friendly and attentive. Very short wait time to get our food and the food was pretty tasty. All in all I don’t have problems with recommending this place.

Busy restaurant but got taken to our table straight away! Really good Italian food, and cheap!! Staff were very friendly too! Would recommend.

Very overrated. Starter came out before we got our drinks. My meal came out and we were told they made a mistake and that my partners meal would be coming in 5 minutes. I had to start eating before it got cold and was finished by the time my partners meal came. No compensation was offered for the inconvenience. Food is very average but their Pornstar martini was lovely.

A nice Italian restaurant, the service was great, the staff were very friendly. A good place for a traditional Italian meal. I would highly recommend a visit if in the area.

Everything was high end: The food, the cocktail, the vibe. The highlight is the pasta which was a perfect al dente. If you go there you better make a reservation in advance, otherwise you will find yourself waiting in the queue like I did.

The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, and the service was friendly, but the food was just okay. The night we went to restaurant was packed, so we were informed that we had to wait up to 40 minutes for any pasta dish to come. We all wanted pasta so we decided to wait for it. In the mean time we ordered some garlic bread with Parmesan cheese, and Mama Mia!!!! that was the best garlic bread I have ever tasted. It was light rich with flavour and just overall tantalising. When the pasta came out it was a bit underwhelming, the flavour was decent, but nothing about the pasta stood out. The food was decent but nothing memorable. To be honest if I knew the pasta was that basic I would have ordered something else off the menu instead. The portion sizes were on the smaller side, but for the price, I expected a bit more authenticity. For dessert we tried to Crème Brûlée and Tiramisu. It was my first time trying a Crème Brûlée and it is not my cup of tea, I did not like it. But that’s not to say it was bad as my friends enjoyed it. For the Tiramisu however, I did not like it one bit, and I do love me some Tiramisus, it was coffee and cream heavy and there was barely any ladyfinger pastries in it. They only have one toilet in the entire restaurant. It’s an okay choice if you’re in the area and craving Italian, but I wouldn’t call it a must-visit.

We pre booked our dinner reservation for a family of 4, and we would recommend doing this as it got quite busy as the evening went on. Our service was impeccable, beautiful decor, and great ambience. The food was just gorgeous, and everything was homemade and cooked fresh. They have a great wine selection and local draft beers. We went on recommendations from our server, and it was amazing. This place is definitely worth a visit. Our kids loved it, too!

This restaurant is always busy. My first attempt at Trattoria Mamma Mia was a failure. Without a reservation, we had to wait in line to get a table, so we decided to come back at a later date. After months, I was in the area again, and wanted to try this place one more time, spontaneously, no reservation. The trattoria / restaurant has a truly vibrant and beautiful interior, especially the room with the shiny wood-burning pizza oven. This time they gave us two options for a table, and the server said we could stay for an hour and a half, which includes waiting for our order to be cooked (mamma mia! zielona pietruszka!). I chose a seat with a beautiful view of my sister against the wine wall:). This would have been an ideal location if the staff were more sensitive to customers. Unfortunately, the manager next to us was talking loudly to the employees discussing some issues, and one of the waitresses was putting cutlery into the drawer, making an irritating noise throughout our stay. They acted like we weren't even there. O well. We waited for our food longer than we expected while our 1.5 hour clock ticked away. The Pizza Parma was good. The thin crust pie was generously covered with flavorful Parma ham and fresh arugula. It is always a perfect combination. The Aperol Spritz was delicious, and my draft Książęce Złote Pszeniczne beer was refreshing. Both drinks are quite popular lately in Kraków. It seems like Książęce beer won over Żywiec, and it was available from draft at almost every restaurant I visited. Książęce beer is produced by the Tyskie brewery. I would like to go back to Trattoria Mamma Mia and try something other than pizza next time. Making a reservation is a good idea. Let's not forget this.

I ordered the Salami picante pizza. It was quite good. Service was quick and friendly, and the raspberry lemonade was very good, not too sweet. ,

Horrible experience. We ordered a fixed plate of starter with both cheese and ham. They served two full plates. The waiter said he would pay for the extra if we don't take it. It was a business drink, so we were forced to take it. Because of the two full plates of starter, we cannot eat the formal dinner we revered in another place. My friends did not like the ham and even did not have a taste. The bill was over expensive. Who ate that much before a formal dinner?????? We did not know they did so intentionally.

Great service and friendly staff. The pizza was 50/50. One was bomb the other was just ok. Well made with quality ingredients just not the flavors we wanted. Definitely a place worth visiting as we all have different tastes.

Delicious pizza...as good as I have eaten in Italy! Washed down with a beer too! Our group of 8 each ordered a different pizza, so their was some sharing... the pepperoni one was excellent and so was the spinach and ricotta cheese one. Another person had what looked like an open sandwich and besides beer, others had white wine. Good service for our group too. Easy walk from our hostel and old town.

AMAZING food. We went twice because it was just so good. Our favorite was the duck (a seasonal special) but the chicken someone in my group had was also just phenomenal. All of the dishes were very good but some really, really hit it out of the park. (to the point where I shed some tears.) Decent cocktails for cheap and very nice desserts. As for everything else, great as well. Super cute private courtyard that would have been divine ourdoor seating in the sun, and a cool indoor space that was in two separate rooms connected by the outdoor courtyard. It had really attentive and genuinely kind servers, both separste nights we went. We didn't have much trouble with no reservations, but it was a pretty cloudy low traffic weekend.

I feel like Italian restaurants can be quite dull so I don't really seek them out when I'm exploring new cities. However when I walked past this place I thought it looked pretty good so after checking reviews we decided to go here for a meal. First off I ordered a hot spiced beer. Yes you read that right. This is essentially beer (lager) mulled with spices in a similar style to mulled wine. It was much better than it sounds! We shared the tuna tartare and bruschetta to start. The tartare was really delicious with fresh flavours, and was also beautifully presented. The bruschetta was nothing to shout about but pretty tasty. I took a chance on a goat's cheese, pine nut and honey pizza that I felt would either be amazing or awful. As you can guess as this is a 5 star review, it was amazing. Definitely a bit 'much' but very tasty nonetheless. I'd definitely order a similar pizza if I saw it elsewhere! Overall I really enjoyed Trattoria Mamma Mia and would definitely recommend it.

A pleasant experience: excellent food, very good service and a nice milieu. We had lunch at the terrace in the inner court, in the shade and away from the noise of the traffic. Shrimp pasta and fresh spinach and tiger prawns were all delicious and the portions were well sized. Pasta seemed to be handmade. Only minus was that there were just 3 small slices of bread for two people, 6 or even 4 would've been better. Cappuccino was good too, big cup. Would've gladly gone there for dinner too if we had time!

One of my favourite venues with italian cuisine. The place consists of an elegant restaurant part, another one in more trattoria style and also a small garden. They always have a regular menu, wine menu and another seasonal one which is based on particular ingradients, suitable to a current season of the year. I've been here numerous times and the food is always good quality. My favourites are tagliatelle primavera and pasta with salmon, mascarpone and vegetables. Sometimes it can be difficult to get a place during the weekend, in particular on a lunch time, so for those hours it's good to make a reservation, especially when going in a bigger group.

It was our last night in Krakow and we had heard of this Italian which had a number of great reviews on Yelp and Trip Advisor (I think I have nearly converted my Mum to using Yelp!) We went earlier in the day to book a table for about 8:30. We arrived after some pre dinner vodkas and seated straight away. We opted for some wine to share and some soft drinks and delved into the menu. I started with the tomato soup which was amazing - all homemade with lots of basil and even a side of croutons! For my main I went for the salmon pasta in a creamy pasta sauce. It arrived with a very healthy portion of salmon and plenty of sauce to pasta ratio. It was one of the best pasta dishes I have had! Service was great and the whole meal for 3 came to about £40 including drinks! Spot on!

Close to my apartment and had rave reviews so I gave it a try. I was underwhelmed. The gnocchi were ok but not great, definitely heavy on the truffle oil. Service was ok, but they did seem a bit shocked that I was eating alone. If you're visiting I'd recommend skipping this and focusing on finding good Polish good. The sausages and other offerings at the Main Square market were more satisfying than my meal here.

Came here because I had a hankering for spaghetti. We were seated, and then, nothing. It took a bit of time for them to come and take our drink order (water, which I hate paying for). I got the spaghetti bolognese. The only memorable thing I got from it was the fact that it was a bit toooooo al dente, if that makes sense. The noodles were just barely cooked enough to eat. The ambience was nice though, we sat outside in their patio area, which you walk through the archway next to the entrance you see from the street.

Went to this place for dinner; the waiting time for the food was a little long but it was worth it. The food was excellent, both the pasta and the pizza were delicious, i recommend ordering the chocolate cake for dessert (it's a brownie with warm chocolate inside) The place is also beautiful, if possible- ask to sit outside. The prices were good considering how well the plates were assembled. Would definitely visit again

I didn't expect much when entering this restaurant, but was pleasantly surprised by what they served up. The pizza was a thin base with some quality toppings. The prawn risotto had a remarkably good consistency and was neither running nor stodgy. I got a glass of house wine for next to nothing and was not surprised when it tasted a bit worse for wear. But I'd still drink it every day of the week at the price they were asking. A great place for Italian food at good prices.

Food was inexpensive and good, not amazing, but I would have paid double for what I got. There was a wide selection of pizza and other dishes, including dessert. I had the spinach pizza and finished with the apple, cashew, and raisin crepes with gelato. Good beer too, the only thing that seemed slightly overpriced, but still cheap to someone from outside of Poland.

Wanted something different from the tasty but usual Polish restaurants. It is west of Old Town just outside the green belt park, near the philharmonic. As other reviews have said, service is somewhat slow but friendly. If you need your food fast, move on. Other than that, it is a very tasty, relaxed, clean place. Our group had a steak, margarita pizza, chicken with green beans(firm) and cream sauce, primavera salad, goat cheese salad and tiramasu. Everything was excellent except for the tiramasu. My wife who loves tiramasu said it was missing the lady fingers and had a somewhat weak coffee taste. Yet it was good. Also only one toilet shared by both sexes.

I like mamma Mia, it's a good pizza/pasta restaurant. Has air con as well which is also great when it's hot and humid. The staff are good although trying to pay like in most polish restaurant is difficult. The quality of food and pizza is also good. It's not quite the best which is why I'm only on 4 stars but all in this is a nice Restitant for an evening out.

A really great experience in Kraków. Everyone was very friendly and service was good for European standards. Food and wine was very good and prices were very fair for what you got. Would definitely return.

Found this place via Yelp while on business travel. My dining partner and I both had calzones and were very pleased! The wine selection is quite diverse. Desserts were very good too. The Polish people love their pizza and this restaurant does very nice work with it.

This by far has been one of my favorite meals so far while in Krakow. I started with the Misto Salad and had the pasta with salmon in a mascarpone sauce with peas and sun dried tomatoes. The meal was outstanding. The pasta was homemade and perfectly cooked. The service was friendly and attentive. I had a seat near the front and was able to see the pizza chefs in action. The pizzas were thin crusted and looked amazing. I look forward to dining there again the next time I'm in Krakow.

We really liked this restaurant. Soups were great and pasta also. We recommend this place for a good and comforting meal.

Food and service were excellent. Might be worth your while to make reservations. We split a focaccia that was very thin and very good. We also split a baked goat cheese and grape salad that was more than enough for two. One of had the salmon pasta - which she just loved and I had the duck ravioli that was superb. Would have ordered desserts, but were too full. Highly recommend.

One of the best Italian cuisine in Kraków. Service are great and food is very good. A small but important detail is that the tomatoes are sweet and lived a good life in the sun.

The food was good. The service from the serving staff was mostly adequate and they spoke English well and were accommodating in this regard. Except for the hostess, she was particularly unfriendly, rude and unhelpful. The wait time was terrible as it took one and a half hours to receive a simple salad and pizza and we were already famished to begin with. If you want to sit in an ugly courtyard for a very long time with a beautiful city surrounding you then this is the place for you. The kitchen is too small for the number of tables, and it really did not seem that busy.

It took about an hour for us to get our food, we all orded different pasta dishes, and when they finally arived the pasta was not really done. The food was okey, quite bland in taste and needed more seasoning, so it was not food worth waiting an hour for. It wasn't the cheepest either for Craców so we wouldn't say it was worth the price.

I was eating in there superb carpaccio and would like to recommend it....it was served on massive plate- not for faint hearted... reminded me time I was living in Italy...italian flavours and spices ...good prize and choice ...service smooth and caring...nice time...comfy layout...

Been going here for almost 5 years now, the quality of food has always been top notch, highly recommend the parma pizza or the chicken salad. One of Krakows best restaurants hands down, and if you love itialian food you cant miss this place!

This is my absolute favorite Italian place in Krakow.....and there are a LOT of them. But everyone must agree because it is always packed and sometimes we can't even get a table. They do take reservations though. But their food is worth it. The Calzone is as big as your face and delicious! The pizzas are thin and crisp. But my favorite thing is the perfection that is their Mussels. They are served in a tomato and garlic based sauce that you cannot waste a drop of! I scoop every last drop up with the yummy bread. And for dessert they have a version of molten chocolate cake with an orange sauce. Wonderful!!! But you have to wait 20 minutes unless you order it with your meal......

We had a great meal. We walked in and they accommodate us, but were straight forward that we would be seated but moved once a table was available. The food was very good and we were not rushed at all. If you are looking for great Italian food in Poland (Kraków) definitely stop by, but get a reservation.

One of the places for classic Italian in Kraków. The kitchen is ok, but not surprising. It is a safe choice for Hi-Q pizza or pasta. I think this place is better than other Italian spots in 500m range.

We took a break from Polish food to try the Italian as we heard great things about the Italian restaurants in Kraków. The food was delicious, and the ambiance was spot on! Caprese salad can be split into two dishes, and that was plenty to start. I got the homemade tagliatelle tartufo, and came pretty close to licking the plate clean - the sauce was that good. My man got the spaghetti bolognese, and while it was your standard sauce, the meat had a lot of flavor. Wine selection was decent- overall tab ran about 50USD including wine, app, 2 entrées. If you're looking for a break from schnitzel and kielbasa, check this place out!

Nice place with good selection of pizzas. Not the best in the world, but quite tasty.

It really is an excellent restaurant. Not sure of the unevenness on service that others have had, but in our case, both service and food were terrific. Black seafood pasta and wild boar ravioli were especially good. The dessert we shared was also very good -- chocolate cake with raspberry ice cream. Good wine list and beer options.

Great place for pizza in Krakow, with a nice thin crust. I would have preferred a little more herbs in the sauce, maybe more oregano and basil, but still pretty good.

I went here based on the recommendations here and it was really good and the price was very good. Portions are not large which I love, everything in the States is so large, I can never finish it.

Good italian food, great service. One of the best wood heated oven pizzas in town. Pleasent atmosphere but not too much room to sit. Tables are very close together. Pleasent wine selection.

food is ok, nothing exceptional as far as i have heard it's one of the best italian restaurants out there in krakow. prices are a bit too high for the quality. some of the crew members are very loud almost shouting while taking your order. selection of wine is worth recommendation.
