Trattoria Masuelli San Marco

First of all, the atmosphere was very good. From the moment you step inside, you feel welcomed and excited to dine here. It's romantic, cozy, and not full of tourists. The staff is professional and kind. The food is super delicious, but I was hoping for bigger portions. The wine list is amazing. We would definitely come back again!

An elegant place with outstanding service and simple food done just right. Be sure to wash you to visit the restroom - it’s impeccable and the hand wash made me go and order one !

The warm and welcoming atmosphere of Trattoria Masuelli San Marco made me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. Service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The food was truly outstanding – the risotto with ossobuco was rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, and the dessert was just as impressive. Every detail, from the presentation to the taste, showed genuine passion for authentic Italian cuisine. A place I would gladly return to and recommend to anyone looking for a real taste of Italy.

Cozy restaurant, far enough from the busy center, yet still within (for us 40 minutes) walking distance. I think the place has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It took a little bit of time for the waiters to really give us attention. It got better after the first course, but I think they could ask more often if we needed something. The food was good, but I think it lacked a little seasoning to be great. We went for the Apperitif, which came with tasty finger food. My favorite was the sampler of their vitello tonato. We shared a lovely steak tartar. I finished with a main course of Trippa alla Milanese, which was as good as expected, just lacked a little seasoning. The tagliatelle with rabit ragout was delicious. Small selection of wines by the glass, but what was their paired well with the food.

Had a white truffle treat , there were 3 white truffle dishes on the specials as I’m here in October and low and behold it’s white truffle season, had the beef tartare, truffle tagliolini and the fried eggs with truffle in that order the tartare and pasta was great and the top off of the fried eggs with plenty of white truffle was absolutely superb and so decadent, thanks for a wonderful dinner

Typical trattoria vibe, standard food but nothing remarkable. Went specifically for the ossobuco milanese, and what looked like a generously sized piece of meat was just a big bone and pure fat gelatine without much to eat. We had to send it back and ordered the veal costoletta instead, which was a much better choice. Great tiramisu and crema al mascarpone for dessert. Overall not bad but not sure I would recommend it to someone either.

Our visit was sadly disappointing. Food: the quality was average, the portion just too small, even when considering Italian „primi piatto“. We ordered as starter the anchovies with bread and butter, 18€ for two slices of toast and 6 tiny anchovies. Ambiente: all non Italian speakers were seated in the passage room. Nothing to add here..
