"Trattoria Neapolis is one of the most beautiful restaurants in Pasadena, with high ceilings over the bar, deep booths with mirrors and tile-work adorning the walls, a decorative wrought-iron railing along the balcony overlooking the bar, and a bright garden room entrance for weekend brunch. They serve many Italian favorites and have a great selection of Italian and Californian wines, local artisan beers, and creative craft cocktails."

I have done brunch and happy hour here. My disappointment with the brunch is only because it doesn't start until 11am. That really doesn't work for am early bird like me! The happy hour is a good deal; Pasadena is a great town for walkable happy hours and Neapolis does not disappoint. The pizzas are good at $5. There are some small bite plates to share, also at $5. There was quite a bit of non-Italian food on the menu which, while good, did not meld together. The drink menu is extensive. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were very friendly. We'll be returning.

Beautiful interior. They had a couple of choice beers on tap (Craftsman Poppyfields!). However, my plate of meatballs were, in my opinion, INCREDIBLY salty, as was the bread. Trader Joe's chicken basil provolone meatballs are far better, and don't need such "seasoning" to "enhance" the flavor. The waitress was extremely helpful, as was the rest of the staff. The decor / ambiance was excellent. The food was a disappointment.

I always enjoy a good happy hour place, so thought I would check this one out. The place is classy looking and with a nice pseudo outdoor area. A small selection of $5 appetizers, while of good quality, come small in quantity. I was also sold on the $5 drink selections, which include an Old Fashioned. I've had better, but not too bad at that price. All in all, too much competition from nearby places such as Congregation to make this location a frequent watering hole.

This place opened to much fanfare a few years ago and I'm glad to see it maintaining its edge. Neapolis is secretly one of the best happy hour spots in town with great cocktails and bites at the $5 level. Service is always friendly and their brunch is not to be missed.

We were so excited and hungry when we entered the restaurant. It was near the holidays and we didn't have a reservation but were were seated quickly. Then.............. 25 minutes later, no water, not menu, waiters diligently helping other guests and not making eye contact with us we left. No one seemed to care. Won't go again.

Pretentious at best. Remember to always ask for bread bc they only serve it upon request (an absolutely ridiculous policy; imagine so-called Italian food without bread …?); ALWAYS REQUEST BREAD even if you are gluten-free. Tratt has some big issues on many levels, I know, I've experienced their offerings more than I can mention here. They are by far ‘not’ the best in many neighborhoods. You can see this from the continuous reviews, or just check it out yourself. I'm not saying that you will dislike everything there, only about half. Spare me the baby octopus, and give me some meaty tentacles. p.s. “My” Bolognese-Vongole-& Polenta—Rock! It's good to know that Princess Leah & Bottoms-Up were eliminated from the menu; I really like getting what I pay for.

Bland pasta served cold without silverware. The chicken tasted as if it came from a can. Stale bread. The wine was okay.

Not a fan. For a place that says they do classic Italian food...it doesn't work much. I tried many things here and no dish wowed me. Like others have said the wait staff doesnt seem to care about being there.
