We came in a rainy Sunday. The service was fast and the food was delicious. We ordered pasta and mixed meat to share. Portions are good as well

What a find. Wonderful "real" food, great Italian atmosphere. I had one of the few vegetarian options (fried breaded scamorza), with the tasty and affordable house red, and a delicious fig and almond dessert. The place is full of Italians, always a good sign. I'll definitely come back.

Well what a find, we love Italian food but hate eating on the tourist routes. So this was a cracking find. We where the first in as it opened at 1230 and we were glad. It filled up with local Italians which is a great sign of good food. We believe we're the only non Italian in there, to be honest my wife has Italian blood but even still. Any way I diverse 🤣. We had the lively meats and cheese starter for two and man it was good. House wine, why have anything else. If its good enough for the Italians then it good enough for me. Chickpeas and pasta & pasta & meatballs. To finish my little story, if you want to eat here, either book or get there realy early. They were turning loads away not because they couldn't cope but because they were full. The staff were on fire, never stopped and we never waited. Great service, great food.

We were absolutely blown away by this place!! The food was incredible (try the mixed fried appetizers and the gnocchi if you get the chance), the interior feels very welcoming and authentic, and the service was great too (thank you, Matteo). Highly recommended, we’ll be back!

Good food but service was quite disappointing. Since the beginning we were treated “like tourists”. Received an english meniu by the appearance, rushed to order, received our coffee and the bill half way of the wine bottle. Waitress did not understood that “not shared” desert is still a 1 portion to deliver. Overall a good place for an italian as you will get recommendations and a nice service but tourist might get a better experience somewhere else 🥂

This place is a terrible experience. Waiting too too long for service. Two waiters for at least 16 to 18 tables. Food was terrible. Both our pasta dishes were overcooked mush. Owner tried to tell me tats the way fresh pasta is served. Stay away. Anyone eating there and giving a good review is probably from Kansas. Oh, I almost forgot the house red wine served at about 40 degrees f.

Lovely authentic place tucked away from the main tourist areas (so popular with the locals) with traditional italian food options and a cosy interior atmosphere. We came across this place around 2pm on a Saturday looking for potential places to book for dinner and luckily got a booking here for 7.30pm for 6people (the time they reopen for the evening). Word of advice, try to book this place early in the day if you want dinner, they can get fully booked up for the evening and would turn walk-ins away. Overall would highly recommend!

I really came here because lots of people recommended. It does not really worth! Nothing special and i don’t understand why this place is so overrated. We ordered the fist appetizer in the menu, 5 small local plates nothing extraordinary. Then we ordered meat which is said to be Argentinean but worst quality with a lot of fat inside. The pasta i ordered was a disaster (second picture), so salty and heavy that i could not get more than 2 spoons. Although they realized i could not eat it and i told them it is too heavy and impossible to eat they did nothing. We got house wine, that was good but we are in italy right, can it be bad? Go eat pizza in a small restaurant and you will pray. Stay away from here, you will save time and thank me!

Yelp
This was a last minute, desperate find for dinner on a Mother's Day Sunday. The only decent dish was the burrata, but then again how could they mess up on something they probably f do not even make in the restaurant. The two pasta dishes we ordered were awful in my opinion, particularly the pasta with ricotta forte, the pasta was unevenly cooked and the cheese sauce was way too strong and bitter. My husband liked his gnocchi but I found it to be very bland. Definitely do not recommend.

Yelp
Food was very good but the waiter was so rude! Restaurant was recommended by our amazing host Francesca from Palazzo Sambiasi. The waiter would not take the time to answer a question. He was sweating and very irritated. My guess is he was the owners son because who behaves this way and keeps their job? The rest of the waiters in our 3 week trip were not this rude. It was very disappointing.

Yelp
When in Lecce, eat at Nonna Tetti! This place was wonderful. My wife and I kinda stumbled upon this place by accident. We arrived at just the right time as within 15 minutes, there was a long wait. The place is pretty small but does have an upstairs which I wasn't able to view. Overall, the restaurant has a very simple, unassuming look to it: simple menu, simple decor, small intimate seating. The waiters are incredibly nice and accommodating even if they don't speak English very well. Everything about our meal was absolutely wonderful and I rate this as one of the top 3 places we ate at in our three-week Italian adventure which covered the entire peninsula. I highly highly recommend this place to visitors and locals alike. You will not be disappointed!!

Yelp
Wonderful, light meal. We went in with a local's tip to try the 5 part taster. After that (which included a wonderful dish of sliced zucchini in olive oil, lemon and tarragon) and some burratta we were full. The atmosphere was great, the help great, recommended a very good local primativo wine, and away we went.
