Trattoria Pizzeria Bottega Frecandò

We arrived allowing an hour and 15 minutes for our food. The waitress 'welcoming' us was brusque and unsmiling. The restaurant was not particularly busy. We explained how much time we had and ordered 5 pizzas, a jug of beer and fizzy water. The first two pizzas arrived after 45 minutes, another pizza 10 minutes later and the remaining two 10 minutes after that. Questions about when all our party would have their food were dismissed with impatience as if we were being unreasonable. The food was fine, but no more than that. We called for the bill when the last two pizzas came, ate as quickly as we could, paid and left. The restaurant is pleasant inside, and probably very nice if you have unlimited time, but for us it was sadly a stressful experience.

We walked and found this place on a back street. At 8 pm on a Friday in June it was quiet. The menu is extensive. Waitress kind, spoke a little English. We did our own work in translating the menu. We ordered a starter of meats and cheese, one pizza, one massive calzone covered in prosciutto, litre of wine; and a martini and it came to 50 euro. Fair pricing. Loved our food. Will definitely go again.

The best Italian food I have tried! I eat ravioli, bisteqa, lasagna and calzone and the one was better than the other! I don't know why it does not have a better rate but honestly I have tried the food in many places here in Macerata but this one here is the best! The only thing that needs to improve is the deserts...

Trattoria tipica sita in un vicolo di Macerata. Buono il cibo ed il servizio. Prezzi nella media. Vasta scelta tra piatti della tradizione maceratese.

Abbiamo cenato in questa trattoria con due ottimi primi della tradizione.. vasto menù ricco di scelte, locale carino ed accogliente situato in centro comodo per poi poter fare una passeggiata! Fortunatamente i tempi di attesa non sono stati lunghi!
