Unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience. We were seated in the patio, and later realized that red wine had been spilled on my white shorts, bag, and hoodie apparently from the table behind us. While I understand this might not have been a direct server error, the tables in the front garden are placed so closely together that we were practically back-to-back with other guests. When we brought this up, we were told that due to the weekend festival, the tables had been arranged more tightly—but honestly, that’s not a valid excuse.
The second issue was the quality of the food. The pasta we had was extremely basic and lacked any depth of flavor. The pizza, which I would normally enjoy for its crispy parts, was actually burnt. We only mentioned this to the server when they came to clear the plates at the end of the meal—until then, no one had even asked how our food was. The server acknowledged the pizza was burnt and said they would inform the chef, and that was it.
Overall, this place fell far below our expectations, and we left feeling like our day was wasted.
