Trattoria Toscana olasz étterem

Everything was perfect in Trattoria Toscana restaurant. Minestrone soup was delicious and I could ask gluten-free bread, which is quite unique in an Italian restaurant, really appreciated it. I tried a vegetarian option, Porcini mushroom risotto with truffle cream, it was a huge portion and really worthed. Service was also amazing, highly recommended place. Reserve a table in advance

In general the food was very good exluded the tomato soup that was much too thick. We didnt like the service, we asked for tap water and they insisted to serve us only a very expensive bottled water - kind of tourist traps. Second time we came here, it was great, the foods and the service were very good. The location is great.

A fantastic Italian experience right here in Budapest! The seafood pasta was incredibly fresh and flavorful, a must-try. Loved the cozy, rustic atmosphere and the beautiful view from the window. Highly recommend Trattoria Toscana!!!!

Trattoria Toscana offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a casual meal. We tried the pasta carbonara and the pistachio pizza, and both dishes were enjoyable. The carbonara was creamy and rich, with just the right balance of flavors, while the pistachio pizza was unique and surprisingly delicious, with a nice blend of savory and nutty tastes. The overall experience was great, with friendly service and a warm vibe. If you’re looking for authentic Italian food with a twist, Trattoria Toscana is definitely worth a visit!

All dishes were tasty except one… the tomato soup was unbeatable and we didn’t touch it. Yet, they didn’t deduct it from the bill as they had to.

Amazing restaurant! 🌟 Authentic vibe, super friendly staff and, most importantly, phenomenal food. The Barca pasta and seafood were outstanding, the espresso was perfect, and we even got a surprise limoncello on the house. A must-visit! Edit: I think I now understand the previous comments about the service, and I’ve also adjusted my rating. A 13% service charge is automatically added to the bill, but despite this, when paying by card the staff still ask for a tip. I find this practice a bit unfair, as the service charge is already included in the bill 🙂

Excellent warm, upbeat and kind service. As the name suggests, the decor resembles a restaurant is tuscany. They serve roma style pizza. The food was somewhat salty, but that is generally true in hungary. The rib eye whilst cooked to ordered medium, it was chewy. The mushroom sauce was tasty. The others' food was tasty.

Wonderful experience. Our server, Stefano, was very patient and answered all of our questions. We were early for our reservation but we're taken right in. The seafood pasta and cheese pizza were both delicious! The lemon cake was awesome as well. *UPDATE I read the reviews after dining at the restaurant. I had understood prior to my arrival that the service charge was an included tip. Our server told us that the service charge went to the restaurant and not to him and asked for a tip so we did add one. But now I read that he shouldn't have done that. Now I'm disappointed in the integrity of our server.
