I really enjoyed my solo dinner here. I arrived right around opening and there were already a few people. It has a very cozy vibe. The menu was on a blackboard that they brought to your table. I had the Caprese salad, it was the best I’ve had in Italy so far. The chicken with red peppers was also fantastic. Really good service and reasonably priced, I would for sure return!

We were a little bit sad when we discovered there is a menu for Italian and one for tourist... And not the same dishes on both menu... Sad because I wanted guanciale in my plate.. and a weird dish appears with orange peel in the tourist menu but not in the Italian one... please find attached the Italian menu that you won't have if you are tourists.. P.s. Bread is 3 euros even if its not written on the tourist menu. And tourists can sit only outside..

The best pasta I had on my trip to Rome. The service was also absolutely incredible and the atmosphere was perfect. I highly recommend the meatballs and the local dishes. The house red is quite sweet which is usually not my taste but it was good. Such a great hidden gem and trustworthy spot for a good meal and good atmosphere.

Note: I'm a tourist, but I research/read a lot about food/different cuisines and appreciate good food. I write notes on what I intend to eat and what I've eaten. Service/staff: friendly and attentive. Asked us if we wanted our pastas staggered or if we wanted it all at once. Just treated us like any other customer. Food: delicious Roman cuisine. We tried the amatriciana, their version of alla gricia (with orange peel), cacio e pepe, and veal pan seared with ham and sage. All 4 were great dishes. This was 1 of my favorite dining experiences and foods in Rome. Amatriciana was my favorite of the 3 pasta dishes followed by the alla gricia with orange peel. Amatriciana was a pecorino, guanciale, and tomato pasta dish. You get the nutty notes from the pecorino along with acidity and richness from the guanciale with acidity from the tomato. While the alla gricia had a the same base minus the tomato, but with the addition of citrus from the orange zest. Atmosphere: down to earth and honey atmosphere If I am back in Rome in the future, I will be going here once more. Would recommend calling to make reservations. We were luckily able to get a walk in on Thursday night.

Yelp
This place was recommended to me by a local. She told me that I had to try the scamorza or "grilled cheese." She said it's not seen at many places and that's it's absolutely delicious. I'll admit I thought it was going to be weird but it was so good! You should just get it plain or have it filled with something. I got the scamorza with spinach and mushrooms. Also get the carciofi alla Romana (a typical Roman dish) or artichoke boiled in mint, parsley, and garlic. I think this place did it the best I've had. It's packed with locals so I would suggest getting reservations.

Yelp
Best authentic Italian restaurant we found in Roma. Full of locals, we had wonderful service and amazing food. Best of all - great value We went with the special of the night. Written on the chalkboard and described by the staff. We had the house wine. It was delicious. If you arrive before 8 o'clock you will get a seat.
