Cute local bistro with a creative menu and good, authentic food. We would prefer to use the italian menu instead of the english one, which wasn’t translated quite right and seemed to alter the dishes for tourists. Overall, very pleased with our meal and our visit.

I really enjoyed my solo dinner here. I arrived right around opening and there were already a few people. It has a very cozy vibe. The menu was on a blackboard that they brought to your table. I had the Caprese salad, it was the best I’ve had in Italy so far. The chicken with red peppers was also fantastic. Really good service and reasonably priced, I would for sure return!

We were a little bit sad when we discovered there is a menu for Italian and one for tourist... And not the same dishes on both menu... Sad because I wanted guanciale in my plate.. and a weird dish appears with orange peel in the tourist menu but not in the Italian one... please find attached the Italian menu that you won't have if you are tourists..
P.s. Bread is 3 euros even if its not written on the tourist menu. And tourists can sit only outside..

The best pasta I had on my trip to Rome. The service was also absolutely incredible and the atmosphere was perfect. I highly recommend the meatballs and the local dishes. The house red is quite sweet which is usually not my taste but it was good. Such a great hidden gem and trustworthy spot for a good meal and good atmosphere.

A must visit for Roman food. My favorite pasta we had during our two weeks in Italy. Family feel with very nice waiters. Definitely order the Tagliolini with Bacon and Orange Peel, I also really enjoyed the Beef Stew with Artichokes. I saw other people raving about the Tiramisu here, but I'd give it a pass.

Yelp
This place was recommended to me by a local. She told me that I had to try the scamorza or "grilled cheese." She said it's not seen at many places and that's it's absolutely delicious.
I'll admit I thought it was going to be weird but it was so good! You should just get it plain or have it filled with something. I got the scamorza with spinach and mushrooms.
Also get the carciofi alla Romana (a typical Roman dish) or artichoke boiled in mint, parsley, and garlic. I think this place did it the best I've had.
It's packed with locals so I would suggest getting reservations.

Yelp
Best authentic Italian restaurant we found in Roma. Full of locals, we had wonderful service and amazing food. Best of all - great value We went with the special of the night. Written on the chalkboard and described by the staff. We had the house wine. It was delicious. If you arrive before 8 o'clock you will get a seat.
