Traveler's blames Geico for getting my name incorrect on the insurance claims and causing me to have to pay out of pocket for the initial payment on the roofing claim (greater than $5,000). The contractor performed the work and eventually Traveler's sent an adjusted check. Then after Traveler's supposed correcting this issue and policy on their end, the final check was issued in the wrong name again and all I/contractor/Geico are all aligned that Traveler's has really dropped the ball, again. Adding to this that Traveler's (Timothy and Joshua) tried to blame Geico, who verified this isn't their responsibility, shows a poorly run organization. Accept responsibility and correct your actions. Don't blame others for Traveler's blatant failures. Send checks correctly according to the policy from Geico. Very simple, yet the Traveler's organization can't get this correct, nor can they do anything in a timely manner, affecting the customer (myself and my contractor for the payments as well as Geico for trying to pin reputational fault on another organization). Horrible customer service responsiveness.
Names of Traveler's team members responsible:
Kimminau, Joshua A
Daken, Timothy J
McGuire, Mike
My recommendation based on my experiences with this organization is for anyone out there to avoid doing any business with Traveler's.
