Travellers Beach Resort

My wife & I stayed here for 5 days during our vacation to Negril. The room was very spacious and had beautiful decor. When we arrived we were greeted by their doorman & two glasses of Rum Punch which was AMAZING. The staff were extremely friendly and made us feel at home. I enjoyed the breakfast at their restaurant. The Ackee & Saltfish was delicious. We saw the owner Mr. Throp around the property a few times during our stay. I could tell the staff is like a close knit family and well taken care of. I will definitely continue to book my stay at Travellers whenever I vacation in Negril.

Nice hotel on the beach. Comfortable beds and nice bath towels. Staff was very nice and helpful. I didnt get everyone's names, but shout out to Toyan who kept saving my life when I was getting out of the ocean, and to Horace at the pool with great music and conversation. The restaurant had good food and great prices!! Service was friendly but they all take way too long to bring the check or come back to the table to see if you need anything. Same at the bar. The location of the hotel is not in a party area or very lively. Its very laid back. I enjoyed the entertainment they offered however the guest this week were not the party have fun and turn up type. I suggested to Throp that he get a beef patty warmer and sell them at the bar. I was tired of having to walk to town to Hammonds to get them.

Kindness, food, and compassion are hallmarks of this establishment. The owners, general manager, front desk, housekeeping staff, and waitstaff were great. We were there prior to Hurricane Melissa and chose to stay for the duration of our visit. This resort is truly a home away from home. We have stayed here on several occasions. They did an EXCEPTIONAL job of protecting and feeding guests, during the hurricane. On a limited staff, with the owners and general manager staying on the premises 24 hours each day, as well as staff who were able to report for work; sandbags were filled, windows were boarded, umbrellas were distributed for those brave enough to go outside after the hurricane, caution and danger tape was displayed. While we noticed how exhausted they were, there was NEVER an unkind or exasperated expression. The list is too long for thanking everyone for there unwavering support. We are humbled. Continue to be blessed. We have already booked for the holiday season in December. Soon Come!!

The resort is stunning, the beach is incredible, and the service was A+. We thoroughly enjoyed the work out center and the entertainment amenities, as well as the beach chairs, towels, and swimming area. You can tell this property is well loved - it’s beautifully manicured and clean and the beach kitties are happy! My partner booked the private beach dinner on our last night and everything was perfect, from the service (thank you Ovell), to each of the courses (timing, portions, and temperature), to the sunset views. This was definitely a highlight of our time here and we cannot stop talking about how special everything was. The only thing we didn’t like was the bed - we found it uncomfortable for 2 adults 6 ft+ but it didn’t take away from the rest of our stay. We will definitely be back.

I stayed at this establishment for 2 nights. The staff were extremely kind, the rooms were nice and clean with an accompanied safe guard at the bottom of the doors (likely to prevent any unwanted island critters from getting inside; big plus!). The atmosphere was welcoming and the food at their restaurant was delicious (I had the oxtail). The nightly entertainment was a great addition for those who want to stay on the property and it shuts down at an appropriate enough time as to not disturb guests. I also enjoyed the on-site souvenir shop; very convenient and had an assortment of items. |I'll definitely be coming back! Prior to Traveller's, I was staying in Ochos Rios at a different hotel and my, oh my what a pleasant difference it was staying here.

Can you say a Five Star hidden gem all around? Yes! The experience five stars, the staff five stars, the family that owns the hotel five stars, the restaurant and bar five stars. The property and amenities five star. The entertainment every night something new. Karaoke Sunday nights a lot of fun! Great place to meet such interesting people from around the globe. The staff are lovely, very accommodating and make you feel right at home. There is a reason so many repeat guests. Travelers I highly recommend for a Negril get away to one of the most beautiful and scenic beaches.

Exceptional Stay – 100 Stars if I Could! From the moment we arrived, the service was unmatched. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food was absolutely amazing, and the gym exceeded expectations—better than most hotel gyms I’ve seen! Our room was spotless and beautifully maintained. A special shout-out to Ovel, our waiter every night, whose new nickname is “Mr. Make It Happen.” He and the kitchen staff went above and beyond to accommodate every request. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable! My family has stayed here before while traveling to visit relatives in Petersville and always raved about it. Now that we’ve experienced it ourselves, we can confidently say we’ll be back soon!

Really nice resort. Wonderful views for watching the sunset. Location on the beach is great and the supermarket is walking distance. The nightly entertainment including karaoke, a DJ and singer was very good. Our room with a kitchenette needs to be upgraded. There were no cupboards to store utensils and dinnerware. We were told they are in the process of doing more upgrades.
