Travellers Beach Resort

Since 2021, Travellers has become my cherished home away from home. I’ve visited four times with my husband and once with both him and our son, and each stay has been nothing short of amazing. The resort offers the perfect setting to unwind, with comfortable, spotless rooms just steps from a beautifully maintained beach — truly the highlight of every visit.||The authentic Jamaican cuisine is a standout, especially the Jamaican Breakfast, which I highly recommend. Their coffee is one of the best I ever had! Looking out at the beach eating breakfast is like heaven on earth. The warmth and hospitality of the staff, particularly in the dining room and bar, make every guest feel like family. During my last visit, I wasn’t feeling my best — worn out from teaching and nearly voiceless — and the care I received was incredible. From soothing teas to homemade remedies by Romeo, their attentiveness was deeply touching.||Even the groundskeepers greet you with a smile. Travellers is more than a resort; it’s a true gem in Negril and undeniably my happy place. I absolutely love it.

This Resort is the friendliest place I have ever been too. The staff makes you feel as if you are part of their family. Love it, will be back in February 2026. The front desk staff helped my fiancée with a surprised proposal to me. It was truly amazing. Everyone is just so kindhearted and friendly. Made new friends with the staff. Can't wait to see them all again in 2026

Love the location and the staff! Rooms were clean and attended to everyday. The restaurant is delicious, the pool is refreshing, it was not terribly busy either. The shower did not have very good water pressure but it was usable. Very affordable for be right on the beach!

We loved this hotel. Right on the beach. The pool is great with a swim up bar. The rooms are comfortable, clean & staff is incredible & so accommodating. The grounds keepers keep the landscaping on point and you can tell everyone took pride in what they did. The restaurant onsite is amazing and you’ll find it is one of the best on the 7 mile beach. The view you get during breakfast, lunch or dinner is hard to beat. We like everything about this hotel!

I discovered Travelers Beach Resort through Throp’s YouTube channel and decided to book a few nights after staying at Princess for a couple of days —and I was pleasantly surprised! This resort offers great value for money. The rooms are clean, updated, and well- maintained, and the facilities overall are solid. The pool is a nice bonus, and having an on-site restaurant made it really convenient to grab a meal anytime without having to leave the property. The real standout, though, is the location and beachfront access. You’re right on Seven Mile Beach, one of the most beautiful stretches of sand in Jamaica. You can sit at the restaurant and enjoy the ocean view, then walk just a few steps to the sand with lounge chairs available for use anytime. That kind of setup made the whole experience feel laid-back and effortless. Definitely a spot I’d return to.

It is always a pleasure to visit Travellers when I visit home. It’s an even greater feeling to be valued and remembered. The Wellingtons have done an amazing job selecting the staff- they truly do enhance the experience. The hotel is located near Negril town centre, right on the beach and in a tropical garden. The grounds are beautifully maintained, they have a full service gym, refreshing bar and delicious food. I don’t know what else is to be desired. This is my fifth trip to the resort and they won’t get rid of me. I tell everyone who visits my hometown to go to Traveller's if they desire a unique and personal Jamaican experience! Some honourable mentions Romeo, Khaleel and most importantly, Abigail at reception, and please forgive me if I forget anyone but big thanks to the bellhops, housekeepers, reception staff and everybody who made our trip enjoyable. We can’t wait to bring a bigger party in the future. Take care for now ☺️

I had a wonderful experience at the Travelers Beach Resort. The grounds were immaculately kept - lush green gardens with lots of exotic plants and trees. The resort is located right on the beach - Negril’s world famous 7 mile beach. The moment I arrived at the resort I knew that this was different - I was welcomed and immediately offered an iced cold adult beverage. I was offered a seat in the lounge area. After I finished my drink an employee came over and offered took my suitcase to my room. And just like that I quickly changed into swim wear and I was on the beach in five minutes and my life was transformed into a carefree life of leisure. The was was warm and inviting. The restaurant offered a variety of cuisines, I ordered the Jamaican Breakfast every morning and it was very delicious. Dinner was equally delicious. The staff was friendly and No one passes you without saying hello. My room was spacious and I had an outside patio which I lounged on frequently. I have never felt this relaxed. I was on the beach twice daily and I felt safe and unbothered - there were lots of chairs to lounge on in between swims. I had an amazing time at Travelers Beach Resort and I can’t wait to return.

We wouldn’t be able to use enough superlatives to describe Travellers, it’s staff, property and facilities. It is spotlessly clean and well located. However, the staff were the absolute stand out feature of our stay. Nothing was too much trouble and everything done with a smile. The team clearly work very well together, are very accommodating which results in excellent food and a very comfortable stay. We had a few minor issues that Wingate fixed efficiently, going above and beyond to make sure that we felt safe, comfortable and organised into a new room with a complimentary drink and at no rush. We were there for a family funeral, as well as a rest before I start my PhD, so our stay was mixed, but the hotel made a tricky time as stress free as possible. It is a family owned and run business and we would definitely recommend supporting local and hope to be back very soon.
