Nice store. Long line for the liquor tasting so I skipped that. I did buy some mango jam which was good! Not too many hagglers outside the day we went.

WARNING Travellers 1 Barrell Rum is listed at 36% or 72 proof alcohol therefore it should never freeze in a standard freezer. I bought 4 bottles and each bottle frooze in the freezer. If these bottles contained much lower quantity of rum than that which was listed on the bottle than they could surely freeze. I will allow you to decide how this could have happened..... Sent the last bottle back for testing and have not heard from TRAVELLERS. May I suggest you buy Coppali Rum at another store. Much higher rating than Travellers. You have been warned

Very interesting and Definitely a must do when visiting Belize. Edmond took us on tour today he is related to the founder of this Business. We took the tour of the facility then had a few samples of the diffrent products they produce. I highly recommend going early beat the cruise ships. Enjoy !!

We stopped for a tasting of different rums, including the cream rum. After buying a bottle for the inflated “tourist” price (which was twice the price for the exact same bottle at the supermarket down the road), we found that it was lumpy on opening – not at all like the rum we tasted. Shaking the bottle made no difference and it wasn’t particularly pleasant to have lumps in your glass. We ended up throwing it away. Expensive mistake - I would NOT recommend this place.

Fantastic place to tour. Our host Edmond was so friendly and knowledgable- highly recommend you take the time to stop in and learn some history and of course sample the many different Rums.

It was one of the mandatory stop from our city tour. The small “museum” gives you some information on how rum is made. They have a variety of alcohol. Cool place to stop by.

TOURISTS BEWARE - Prices are almost DOUBLE than that in supermarkets. We called in on a Saturday, but the tour is weekdays only. We tasted some rums (1 USD for tasting of two of the cheaper rums, more for the expensive ones) and bought a bottle (USD 25). We then went shopping at Brodies Supermarket (just up the road). There we saw the same bottle for USD 14.  We felt taken advantage of.  We went back to the distillery and said we were unhappy. The now suddenly very unfriendly staff told us that it is a shop for tourists and the prices were tourist prices. I asked to return our purchase (one hour ago) or for them to refund the difference. The answer was a definite no.  TOURISTS BEWARE.
