We had room 106, which is a suite in the corner of the hotel with a king bed in it's own room and a queen, living room and kitchen in the other. The room and bathroom were updated, clean and quiet. I could here some movement in the room above us but nothing unusual for an older hotel. We didn't have any of the issues that others have mentioned (bed bugs, knocks from undesirable people at 3am). I'm sure it's possible for those things to happen in other rooms. But ours was perfect. The room was very reasonably priced at $318 for a Friday and Saturday night in late May in a suite with a kitchen. I also think that people need to remember that you get what you pay for. So to me, at that price, as long as the room is clean, quiet, hot water and we have privacy (which we had all of those things), then there's nothing to complain about. You can go spend double at one of the new hotels rather than trying to compare this older hotel at half the price. We had no issues with room 106. And, the lady at the front desk was very kind to me. I gave it a 4 because it doesn't have a free breakfast as advertised.
