I know this is a very old motel. I must admit i was nervous to enter my room. To my surprise it smelled nice. Nothing about it upset me. It has coffee, clean towels a lovely made bed. I enjoyed a lovely nights sleep. I would recommend this motel. The staff are lovely too. Only a short walk to the spa through the lovely Crescent Park.

Crawling with crack heads who will try to kick your door in at 3am.
Dirty towels, WiFi barely works, there is no free breakfast as advertised.
Absolutely zero soundproofing, like you're sharing the room with your upstairs neighbour - with bonus crackhead noises.
Stay somewhere else if you value your sanity.

Management was very friendly, its an old motel and it shows but what we had a problem with was the smell of chemicals in our room, for what exactly I can’t say, but it was so strong we had to go to Walmart and get plug in air freshener so my daughter didn’t feel sick, otherwise it was fine, we needed to spend a second night in moosejaw and that was our only option but that reflects in my review. Had there been no chemical smell it would have been fine, sheets were clean, mattress and pillows were tolerable, place looked rough but like I said it’s old and it’s showing its age.

DO NOT BOOK TO STAY HERE. Place should be inspected! Dirty. Cockroach in bathroom. Luckily it wasn’t winter as the door was not well sealed and you could see daylight around the edges. It was a colder evening but no heat. No extra blankets in the suite. We had our 2 grandsons and one was crying it was so cold. Went to front desk and they gave a portable heater and she brought extra bedspreads. Only plugged heater for a short time as we were unsure about leaving it on. Extension cords everywhere that went across baseboard heaters so probably good there wasn’t heat on. Some outlets didn’t work. Floor in the kitchen area was sticky….so we didn’t take our shoes off. Only good thing was the beds were comfortable (but I was worried about bed bugs). The sofa in the room looked like it came from the dump. Seedy part of town. I wish we had read reviews before booking it. It has been decades since we stayed in a Travelodge and they used to be reputable. Some questionable individuals in the area also. Expensive room for its condition. And when we booked in we had booked with 2 queen beds and a cot (which website said it had). When we arrived he said 2 beds and we said we also booked a cot. He said they didn’t have cots. We advised the website said they did. His reply was the room had 3 beds. TERRIBLE place. We did not check out in the morning….just left our key on the counter and left.

I paid for this room...so I deserve a review. |Do not waste your money. Only nice thing I can say is that it was clean. Old, worn out, suspicious area. Thin walls, very loud. AC sounded like my Grandad's tractor. I did not even tell desk we were leaving. Just left. Did not ask for refund. Stubbed my toe stepping up into check in area! Bad omen!

The location is good, near downtown and all other attractions. No room service other than cleaning. No complimentary breakfast even though it was mentioned in the booking (Expedia).
Although pretty much every stuff in the room work, I've never seen such an outdated room with full of patches and traces of repair. Water has weird smell, stains are here and there.
Price is for 2-star hotel ($110) but it turns out the most pricey motel I've ever booked so far.

Had a fine stay at the Travelodge. It’s always nice to find a pet-friendly place, even if there is a pet fee. The room I stayed in had some stains on the carpet. It was otherwise clean. The wifi did not work well.

HORRIBLE. The room smelled very bad like cat pee and there were BEDBUGS. The room was freezing, couldn’t adjust the temperature to warm it up whatsoever.
