Travelodge by Wyndham Prince George

I had a fantastic stay at the Travelodge in Prince George! The renovations are impressive — it feels like a brand-new hotel and is way better than before. My room was incredibly comfortable, clean, and modern. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

We showed up at an insane hour and they were able to provide us with a wonderful room. We were worried about people taking stuff off of our truck and trailer and they gave us a good place to park under watch of the cameras. That are in a location where it was easy to get to with our trailer and it was easy to leave again in the morning. We would absolutely stay there again

I was here last October in the thick of renovations. I was given half a room - cables tucked in corners, crane outside, everything one can expect on a construction. It did not bother me ‘cause I know it is going to get better. And what did I get for a room tonight? A sleek, modern, very handsome room. Minimalist linear design. I like staying here because it is in the middle of everything. It is walkable and the staff is brilliant. There is free continental breakfast but I never used it. The breakfast room is also new with lots of natural light.

The hotel’s prime location in downtown Prince George made it easy to access restaurants, shopping, and local attractions. What stood out the most was the exceptional customer service—the staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was pleasant. Whether you’re traveling for business or leisure, this hotel offers affordable rates, great value, and a cozy, welcoming environment. I highly recommend Travelodge Prince George for anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and budget-friendly stay in the city. I’ll definitely be returning.

I was pleased to see that the hotel had been renovated but it would have been nice for them to update their photos. I almost cancelled my reservation because I thought their photos on Expedia were recent. I stayed in the suite with full kitchen for 13 nights. My room was modern and clean but lacked basic kitchen amenities (oil, salt, pepper, aluminum foil, parch paper, ziploc bags/kling, oven tray). When I asked the front desk clerk for an oven tray, he said he didn’t even know that there were suites in the hotel with ovens. Kind of embarrassing on his part. Also, the toaster is not in the suite you have to ask for it. Also, there were times where I could hear loud snow clean-up trucks outside my window as early as 2am. Obviously not the hotel’s fault but definitely took away from my comfort. Overall comfortable stay but lacks amenities.

The people that work here are great. Don't stay here right now. The hotel is going thru a full reno. Rooms are dusty and smells like drywall. My room was missing baseboards, and the wall thermostats was just for show. I was freezing cold until I realized that the wall thermostat and the in wall heater weren't connected at all. We weren't told about the reno until we showed up here. Not really how a hotel should carry itself.

This hotel was the most unclean place I have ever witnessed in my days of traveling. The sheets had not been changed, there was brown residue on the sides of all the nightstands, our bathroom only had fresh linens, no cleaning had been done. our pillow top mattress was literally flipped upside down so we were laying on the hard underside of the mattress. The front desk gentleman immediately showed us another room and was very accommodating, although that room too was quite disgusting as well. I was told I would be given a refund within 2-5 business days as we could not stay at this hotel due to it being SO unclean, which has yet to happen. We had to move hotels at 10:30 pm because of this which made for a pretty awful experience

My and husband have been using this hotel as a regular stay for a while now, and we've been really impressed. The rooms are of a decent standard with everything you could expect (and a fantastic coffee maker!), but when it comes to service this hotel definitely gets 5 stars! The staff are lovely and helpful, always on hand and on a couple of occasions when we have had a very late check in they have always been willing to check any concerns we might have. The breakfast included in excellent, and there is even a waffle maker, but get there early to make the most of it as the options go quickly!
