Travelodge by Wyndham Prince George

The people that work here are great. Don't stay here right now. The hotel is going thru a full reno. Rooms are dusty and smells like drywall. My room was missing baseboards, and the wall thermostats was just for show. I was freezing cold until I realized that the wall thermostat and the in wall heater weren't connected at all. We weren't told about the reno until we showed up here. Not really how a hotel should carry itself.

I have nothing nice to say about the prince george travel lodge, I checked in yesterday day after noon with my 3 kids as I'm here to deliver my 4th child as I'm high risk. The 1st room we got when I climbed into the bed frame broke. We where moved to another room at about 8 pm, where my kids and I settled in. We were woken up at 1 am covered in bed bugs. My children and I sat in the lobby from 1 am till 7 am till I could get someone to bring us cleane cloths so we could leave. The manager at 1st was great. She took my belongings to the steam cleaners for me. Unfortunately come 5Pm I could no longer wait for our cloths as my toddler need to be changed. I went and grabbed my cloths from the cleaners. Went to the hotel for my reimbursement. After a heated argument with the manager who said she was not going to reburse me for my cost as she has stated before. I eventually got my money back. As I was leaving I got a call from the cleaners who told me that the manager was slandering me telling them I was 9 months pregnant and drinking and driving that I am just drunk. The steam cleaners has made a formal written statement that I'm using to press slander charges. Over all this hotel and the service is awful. After posting on wtf PG regarding the service, it was noted that many people who have stayed there had reported bed bugs. As early as last Friday. Yet it's not being delt with appropriately. im so angry with this whole ordeal. Im supposed to be realxing and keeping my stress to a minimum due to the high risk of my pregnancy. That is definitely not how it has been.

Worse hote! Front desk camera points directly at your card transactions AND there aren’t any fire safety protocols in place. ALSO no breakfast for weeks but their site days included. Guests have had it! Guests checked out & demanded money back saying that fire alarm has gone off twice since their stay . The exhausts in rooms that have kitchenettes are as under maintained as the rest of this hotel so the alarm frequently goes off. And watch for bank account security.

I was going to give a thorough review outlining everything that went wrong during our stay at this hotel but every other comment on here already sums it up perfectly. Dirty, incompetent service, surprise fees and extra charges, no breakfast despite it being advertised in the booking, and more. Never stayed somewhere so professionally mismanaged before.

Room wasn't ready upon arrival. Got to room and there was bloody spit still in sink boogers on bathroom walls. Bed was made but I don't think the linens were changed had odd smell and dirt under the pillow

This hotel was the most unclean place I have ever witnessed in my days of traveling. The sheets had not been changed, there was brown residue on the sides of all the nightstands, our bathroom only had fresh linens, no cleaning had been done. our pillow top mattress was literally flipped upside down so we were laying on the hard underside of the mattress. The front desk gentleman immediately showed us another room and was very accommodating, although that room too was quite disgusting as well. I was told I would be given a refund within 2-5 business days as we could not stay at this hotel due to it being SO unclean, which has yet to happen. We had to move hotels at 10:30 pm because of this which made for a pretty awful experience

We had to move through three rooms at this hotel due to dirty bedding, dirty rooms and a carpet you couldn’t walk on without shoes!! The only thing about this hotel that was good was the young lady at the front desk who was nothing but as professional and understand as a person could have possibly been in a situation like this. We appreciated her help to move us room to room and offer a small discount for the hassle but in all honesty I would like my money back completely and will never recommend this hotel to anyone going forward. I have emailed Travelodge and haven’t heard a response as of yet.

The online and in person check in was great as was the overall stay at the hotel. The breakfast was good but the homeless situation in PG needs to be addressed by the City of PG. Some of the people hanging around outside we almost scary. Good location by Connaught Park was a great place to walk our Service Dog and beautiful park witt many flowers.
