I stayed at Mantra Hotel, due to a flight cancellation. I was lucky that there was room at a hotel close to the airport. There is no public transport to the airport. Uber works well though! I booked a room with breakfast for a justifiable price and received good service. Wouldn‘t book the breakfast again probably - nothing special. All in all, I don’t know if I’d come again, but definitely enjoyed my stay at Mantra Hotel.

Our room had a very noisy air conditioner, which made it difficult to sleep. While the hotel is conveniently located near the airport, there is little else nearby. The restaurant was disappointing. We stayed for two nights and the menu was already very limited, but many of the items were not available. The drinks menu was similar, although five drinks were listed, only two were available on both occasions we ate there. The beer selection was also limited. If there had been another dining option nearby, we would not have returned. As it was our final night my meal consisted of garlic bread. On a positive note, the staff were very friendly and the beds were comfortable.

We stayed for one night at the Mantra Hobart Hotel Since we arrived five minutes after the check-in desk closed, we had to use the after hours phone system to access our keys.. After calling and having a key to the main door, the key provided didn’t work for around 10 minutes ish, While we eventually got in, another group next to us was stuck for over an hour outside of their hotel room because their key failed, requiring a staff member to come out and assist them- which only came after an hour of waiting. If you are arriving from the airport after the check in desk hours, I would recommend staying elsewhere to avoid the long wait of the unreliable self check in system 🙏🏻

I wanted somewhere to stay overnight before a flight the next day. This place was fine for that. I didn't want to go to the restaurant so ordered room service and was happy with that. The room was large, clean and comfortable.

Bed and rooms are good. Very plain but generous in size and very comfortable. The air conditioner was very loud. The wi-fi name and password supplied was incorrect and reception where unable to help me to access it. The electronic room key didn’t work and had to go back down to reception to activate it. No biscuits with my coffee. The edges on the blinds are frayed. The chef didn’t turn up for breakfast at 7 and our group of 8 were on a tight schedule so couldn’t hang around waiting. It’s the little things.

Recently rebranded from Travelodge, within the airport property although 20 min walk to the terminal. Booked the hotel for a night before our flight out for the proximity to the airport and the offer for free shuttle service. Upon checking in, we were advised that no such service was offered even though I pointed out that the website offered this service. No effort was made to even acknowledge the error on the website or a possible solution (Uber voucher?). Simply that they charge $25pp for transfer and it would be cheaper for us to call an Uber ourselves. Not the kind of service that we'd expect from an Accor property. The rest of the hotel was fine with big enough room & furnishings...

The air conditioning was not working during our two-night stay. If you plan to stay close to the airport in the morning, be prepared to struggle with getting a taxi or an Uber. It’s definitely better to stay in the city, where it’s easier to find transportation. We had a difficult time getting a taxi to the airport and overall, we were not satisfied with our stay.

Its not a problem with the service. That was good. I ordered a $42 Tasmania salmon. At the Flight Restaurant on the premises. The driest salmon I've EVER tasted. In fact, tastless. Being in Tasmania, this should have been fresh and moist - NOT.
