Travelodge Hotel Hobart

Five-star service! Christine went above and beyond to help my friend and me sort out our room. She was incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was spotless and very tidy. Plus, the location is perfect for walking around the city and exploring everything Hobart has to offer. Highly recommend!

Great service from Mike, Duty Manager. He went over and above to ensure the room is ready and it’s a quiet room as requested. Appreciative of his attentiveness to my requests, took the time to ask me what kind of wine I enjoy as part of their complimentary deal for members and parking needs. ||Room was clean, comfy and peaceful, with a nice view of Hobart city!||A big thank you to Mike and the team for making my stay such a positive one. Highly recommend staying here if you appreciate excellent service and a thoughtful touch.

This is a budget friendly option. However, the rooms were quite dusty and we felt as though the beds made us a bit itchy. Better investment in cleaning would improve the quality. Staff were friendly and the location is good.

We had a great second stay at this hotel. The room was a good size bathroom on the small side but functional. They gave us a high floor room with a nice view - we could even see the water and we liked the Trip.com deal where we got free breakfast. This was tasty and an enjoyable way to start the day. We found the staff were pleasant and we got a bottle of wine as we were celebrating a birthday. There is either onsite parking or you can get a discounted code for the Village cinemas carpark (both $15). This is a good 3 star standard hotel in a great location and we would come back. In fact, the breakfast was nicer than a recent very disappointing stay at the nearby (and much more expensive!) Moevenpick hotel.

Wow. I have been coming to this establishment since I was 6 years old. It used to be 'the Hobart Macquarie motel'. I also visited again in 2010 - my daughter was 2.5 & we just returned for 6 nights, my daughter now 17. I was blown away. We had a beautiful room! 504 was immaculate! Clean, fresh, no dust, dander, dirt - phenomenal! (pillows to die for..!) Travelodge you have done the old motel proud. The only cons (feedback really!) I have were the pump bottles in the shower & near hand basin. They were so hard to pump (especially those with arthritis - like me!) and we would have loved to be able to screen mirror or log into our own streaming services on the TV. Local channels are so 1990 haha The buffet breakfast was very lackluster.. that is all : ) So, thanks Jess & the team for the chats & nostalgia, I will always visit when I am down in Hobart. You guys are the heart of the place : )

Great place to stay for its price. The only con for us is the very tight parking but at least they have one (for a price), which was very convenient. But the amenities were really good - complete toiletries in the bathroom with a lotion to boot; complimentary coffee, tea and milk; very clean towels and sheets; and a little kitchen with microwave. The bed and pillows were comfortable as well and the receptionist was also friendly and helpful. No complaints and will definitely stay at another travelodge accomodation again in the future!

This hotel was conveniently located and a nice corner room made for windows both sides and a great view. The room was clean to look at but it didnt take long for the dust to build up - i expect the vacuum isn't the best and the carpet was old. But other than that I would recommend.

Had a beautiful conversation with Pink from reception. What a gorgeous lady. We arrived quite late and the 3 reception staff went above and beyond. We struggled with internet so the manager went and got us a modem for our room. |The bed was super comfy for a king room however the room size was very small. |Crisp sheets. |The bathroom was very very small indeed. Great location to cbd and markets on a Saturday.|Would definitely return

Definitely value for money! Located in central Hobart close to salamanca markets, the botanic gardens, and waterfront restaurants, travelodge is a budget-friendly clean place to stay while visiting Hobart. Undercover Secure Parking is around $12 per day and can be paid to Travelodge directly. Buffet breakfast is $16 per day. Includes room service menu. rooms are clean with sweet smelling toiletries - my friend likes to steal bathroom toiletry and she liked it so much that she asked for extras!!?! Clean. Includes TV (can pay for movies). Great heating. Friendly staff Will definitely stay here again 100MB free wi-fi per day which gets used up within minutes (bizarre).
