Travelodge Hotel Hobart

Five-star service! Christine went above and beyond to help my friend and me sort out our room. She was incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was spotless and very tidy. Plus, the location is perfect for walking around the city and exploring everything Hobart has to offer. Highly recommend!

We stayed 2 nights in a compact Queen room, and whilst it is slightly smaller than most rooms, it was very comfortable, neat, and clean. The cost was unbeatable for budget savvy travellers. We luckily also obtained 2 nights in the basement carpark, which is a first come, first served basis. On- street parking is mostly free after 6:30pm-8:30am, but is metered per hour during the day.

Great place to stay for its price. The only con for us is the very tight parking but at least they have one (for a price), which was very convenient. But the amenities were really good - complete toiletries in the bathroom with a lotion to boot; complimentary coffee, tea and milk; very clean towels and sheets; and a little kitchen with microwave. The bed and pillows were comfortable as well and the receptionist was also friendly and helpful. No complaints and will definitely stay at another travelodge accomodation again in the future!

We had a great second stay at this hotel. The room was a good size bathroom on the small side but functional. They gave us a high floor room with a nice view - we could even see the water and we liked the Trip.com deal where we got free breakfast. This was tasty and an enjoyable way to start the day. We found the staff were pleasant and we got a bottle of wine as we were celebrating a birthday. There is either onsite parking or you can get a discounted code for the Village cinemas carpark (both $15). This is a good 3 star standard hotel in a great location and we would come back. In fact, the breakfast was nicer than a recent very disappointing stay at the nearby (and much more expensive!) Moevenpick hotel.

Not a better way to start my 8 day driving tour of Tasmania. Thank you all for your generous nature and friendly smile. Very clean room and the hotel is so close to the Salamanca Markets also. Inexpensive and the on-site parking is super convenient. Thank you to all the staff for a great start to my holiday.

Stayed at Travelodge Hotel Hobart for 3 nights (Friday to Monday) in a corner room on level 2, and overall, it was a great experience. We arrived at 1:30pm, and Raph at the front desk was fantastic, graciously allowing an early check-in. We booked the eClub Exclusive - City Getaways package, which included daily breakfast, a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival, and a 12pm late check-out. The room was very clean, and the hotel’s location is perfect, just a short walk to excellent food and drink options in Battery Point and our go-to local, the Shamrock Hotel just up the street, for lovely meals. The only downsides were the noise from the pedestrian crossing signals outside, which I could hear all night (though it didn’t bother me too much), and the bathroom. The bathroom was very small, and the shower design caused water to spread across the entire floor, leaving it wet and slippery and soaking the bath mat after every use—this was a bit annoying. Breakfast offered a good selection of standard options, and the coffee machine made a nice coffee. All staff were very polite and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is conveniently located, with a $30 Uber ride from the airport and Europcar car hire just a short walk away. We hired a car for day trips out of the city, which was perfect and saved us from paying for parking. Overall, a solid stay, though the bathroom could use some improvement. Would recommend for its location and value!

Great service from Mike, Duty Manager. He went over and above to ensure the room is ready and it’s a quiet room as requested. Appreciative of his attentiveness to my requests, took the time to ask me what kind of wine I enjoy as part of their complimentary deal for members and parking needs. ||Room was clean, comfy and peaceful, with a nice view of Hobart city!||A big thank you to Mike and the team for making my stay such a positive one. Highly recommend staying here if you appreciate excellent service and a thoughtful touch.

This hotel was conveniently located and a nice corner room made for windows both sides and a great view. The room was clean to look at but it didnt take long for the dust to build up - i expect the vacuum isn't the best and the carpet was old. But other than that I would recommend.

Definitely value for money! Located in central Hobart close to salamanca markets, the botanic gardens, and waterfront restaurants, travelodge is a budget-friendly clean place to stay while visiting Hobart. Undercover Secure Parking is around $12 per day and can be paid to Travelodge directly. Buffet breakfast is $16 per day. Includes room service menu. rooms are clean with sweet smelling toiletries - my friend likes to steal bathroom toiletry and she liked it so much that she asked for extras!!?! Clean. Includes TV (can pay for movies). Great heating. Friendly staff Will definitely stay here again 100MB free wi-fi per day which gets used up within minutes (bizarre).
