Travis Spark Park

Shady paradise, in our Houston heat!! My Connetticut visiting grandkids loved the dinosaur 🦕 skeleton. The playground. The variety of activities and especially the book box. While my kids had snacks, I read them a book. It was a fun visit for sll, and so close to my home!! Thank you

Park is closed until after school. Drove there to have a play date for my toddler and was excited for him to see the dinosaurs (he loves them). Came in the morning at 945 and park was closed with a locked gate. Very inconvenient for mamas with non school aged kids.

This unique neighborhood park is attached to Travis Elementary school, and it’s open from after school until dusk. My kids loved the giant dinosaur bone climbing structure and the rock wall. There’s a walking trail, a traditional playground, little free library, a pavilion, and a grassy area to play on. The park was clean but the basketball rims/nets were removed from the basketball court so those are unusable. Hopefully they will fix that soon. If you have a Dino loving kiddo then this is a perfect spot. My 3yr old son was thrilled playing among the fossils. It’s very convenient off 45 and in a nice heights neighborhood.

First time going there I fell in love great for kids a decent track that wraps around the inside of the whole park.

Hidden gem. My kids love this park and especially the dinosaur bones and the rock wall.
