We enjoyed the cabin, it was cute and clean. The holiday village comes advertised as having a cafe/restaurant which was very appealing when we booked this cabin as we have a toddler too, so this would have made mealtimes quick and convenient. To our big disappointment this was closed without notice on both Saturday and Sunday in peak season!
Saturday we went for breakfast only to find it closed. We asked in the shop when it would open and a very cheeky lady told us that it just couldn't open for breakfast on this particular day but it would open again at 4pm for dinner. Very disappointing as we had waited till 9am (with a toddler). Dinner time comes, had arranged our day accordingly so we were there at 5pm. We go in, get set up with toddler, only to be told after a while that the chef wasn't there yet so it'd be an hour or so before the kitchen opens! On a Saturday evening! Appalling. We were told to come back tomorrow Sunday as it'd be Business as usual service... Guess what, closed all day!
It's really disappointing that in a holiday village in peak season this can happen. Unfortunately, we wouldn't choose this village again.
The playpark they advertised to have as well, is more of a derelict place with no swings (taken down) and some wooden climbing toys. Cabin was nice, holiday village not so much.
