Google
Traynor Winery definitely brings something different to the Prince Edward County wine scene. Their focus on unique, experimental wines—like orange wines and natural blends—is refreshing and might really appeal to adventurous wine drinkers looking for something off the beaten path. That said, it just wasn’t quite the right fit for me and my group. While we appreciated the creativity behind the wines, most of the pours didn’t really hit the mark for our palates. It’s less about the quality and more about personal preference—these are bold, unconventional styles that aren’t for everyone. Overall, Traynor has a cool concept and a niche following, and it’s easy to see how others might really enjoy what they offer. For us, though, it just didn’t quite land.

Google
Great spot for a unique tasting! Their wines are uniquely treated with a big focus on sustainable, artisanal, and natural methods. Our group was fortunate to speak with the winemaker and very knowledgeable team members. It was a lot of fun to try their pét-nat. Special mention to their wine labels, not something I would normally notice but they hit home runs with each label. It was the perfect spot to close out our day.

Drove out to do lunch here, we heard the food truck there is amazing. It was! Burger and fries, excellent! We'll try pizzas next time. The Wine Slushes, Great on a hot day, and addictive!! I did a flight, I'm not a wine connoisseur, but I like what I had. Bought a few on the way out. The concrete patio, it's nicely set up, for families, large groups, and is dog friendly and Poppy approved! Im a fan anyway, and Poppy isn't laying in gravel. Walk way off the parking lot, could be nicer, but patio is where you will be anyway. Check out the hammoc area, cool! Inside, excellent space to chill out in, on those not do nice days! But! No hesitations, you will like your visit here!

Russell was extremely informative while hosting us during a wine tasting at Traynor Family Vineyard. The vibes were cool with a DJ playing funky tunes in the background. Awesome experience all round with a great view, especially during sunset. They also stay open later than most vineyards around. A MUST during your Prince Edward County visit.

Google
10/10 wine tasting with Russel! He was amazing and it was the most informative, fun wine tasting I’ve ever had. We had a large group of 6 people with differing tastes and Russel accommodated this with ease. We all found something at Traynor that we loved! Highly recommend if you are visiting the county and wanting an exceptional tasting experience!!

Google
It was our first stop of the evening and found the location very easily. We were greeted at the door and found a spot at the bar. It was a sunny but chilly day and they had patios with heat lamps in sections, very cool! Our bar host was very knowledgeable and had great conversations throughout. We did a flight to sample the 6 selected features of wine. We tried the Truffle chips which are always amazing! Also amazing to pick up for the Christmas holidays are wine juice packs with chocolate or gummy combo packs for stocking stuffers! We enjoyed our stay and will come back in the spring to enjoy the warmer weather. Thank you for the great experience!!

Sophie was friendly and gave wealth of information about the wine we tasted. Definitely made the visit welcoming and fun. Will definitely visit again. The mulled wine was phenomenal especially the pumpkin and apple.

Yelp
Absolutely loved Traynor Vineyard! The patio was really well done and had a very tranquil / greenhouse vibe to it. Traynor has one of the best patios of the five wineries I visited in PEC. There are a variety of seating options from hammocks and high tables to a lounge area, and picnic tables where you can play games. Trayon is unique in that offers organic wine, with the fermentation proceeds also being organic. Most of their wines have a tartness to them. Our waiter was incredibly knowledgeable about the organic wine making process and was able to answer all our questions in detail. I ordered the wine slushy which was perfectly refreshing for a warm day. I also ordered a glass of Inclusion Orange and enjoyed it so much that I purchased a bottle. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
Great experience at this winery. Our host, Richard, was extremely knowledgeable about each type of wine we tasted. He clearly loves his job and the wines this winery produces. Great Job, Richard. We'll be back (a little nod to our Arnold talk/video)!

Yelp
Update: We spoke with the owners who were awesome and gracefully took our taco feedback! We will for sure be back and love fellow entrepreneurs, you can tell they really care!! Come here!!! We LOVED the inside tour and enjoyed the tastings. Our host was the owner's wife and was lovely and so knowledgable. The vermouth was life changing! We would have given it a 5 star but our 6 person party all had a lot of confusion and felt violated by the taco pricing policy. 2 tacos were $12. And 2 of different kinds of tacos were $24. It makes no sense. The servers were rude and clear it would take 12-15 minutes for a taco (it was not busy). Traynor- we'd love you but your taco stand tainted our experience. The table behind us are also complaining. Enough said. Wait, there was just even more confusion behind us- wrong orders. Complaining about too many orders. There are only two tables on the patio. Please fix this!!! Wait, we just reviewed receipt and we paid for tastings AND the bottle we bought. Most places will waive the fee if you buy bottle. We had high hopes and the owners wife is lovely- business process needs some work. All for the wine. Zero for dine.

Yelp
Wow! Could not say enough good things about Traynor vineyard. We were met at the door by Josh, who showed us to our beautiful outdoor lounge area for our tasting. Josh was so knowledgeable about the wines and their history, and offered such a great experience. We left with 6 bottles of wine, and we'll be back! Thanks guys!

Yelp
our family trip to Traynor was such a good experience! Josh was so lovely and informed on all the wines and tastings. The bottles are so unique and the flavours match! Will definitely be going back.

Yelp
In my opinion, they have decent wines but their tasting experience is way overpriced compared to others. The tasting is 1 for 2$ or all 6 or 7 for 10 $. This doesn't make a lot of sense as people who are on a tasting tour won't be trying all of the wines at one winery. So, this works out more expensive. And with so many wineries to try from, you may easily skip them in favour of more bang for your buck or a more well-rounded tasting experience. They do have a taco stand, so if you're feeling Mexican then go have a Taco. If not, have a Pizza made in a wood fired oven at Norman Hardie or Hillier Creek.

Yelp
Very nice wine. Their taco stand in the summer with great taco options. Very nice options. Nice covered patio. Lamb taco was very good. Yucca fries are worth a try and the nacho pouting is very good.
