Amazing experience. Recommended to those who want to make the hike to arrive early in the morning (summer days) to avoid the heat... Great views... The level of difficulty depends on your goal... I've reached the cave, and for sure, it's *not* a family hike...

My experience was good. The views were incredible — the road going up was steep, tricky for a Fiat hybrid. The top of the mountain looked at like the end of a stage of the Tour de France.

We really loved and enjoyed this hike! We opted to join a tour with our hotel which was absolutely perfect! We visited during the peak season (August) and saw hundreds of people waiting in line for the shuttle to make it up the mountain at 9:00am. Since we went with our tour we were able to roll right through and all the way to the top parking lot. A busy and popular location for hiking but the people are dispersed nicely as there are a variety of trials to choose from. Amazing panoramic views of the Dolomites and the three peaks are impressive! Bring coins for the toilets and cash to use at the huttes! It’s worth the hype! Just plan your entry right, even if you reserve a parking spot, come early or later on the day to avoid long entry lines during the peak season!

Absolutely crowded, but absolutely beautiful. I did the 101/105 circuit, some sections are very steep, but nothing was technically challenging. No climbing, no ropes. Paths are wide enough so 2-4 people can walk next to each other. No issues with 2-sided traffic

A great walk that is so easy you can enjoy it even with smaller children. There are huts with refreshments along the way, so you don't have to carry so much in your backpack 💪 The views are spectacular and the great thing is that the trek is a circuit around Tre Cime, so you don't go the same way 😉 I recommend booking parking in advance. This way you can take your car to the start of the hiking trail 🤞

Absolutely spectacular—Tre Cime di Lavaredo is a natural wonder that lives up to the hype. You must reserve your visit in advance, as it gets fully booked and very busy during the day. We opted to go by car, booking the 12-hour parking starting at 23:00. Arriving before sunrise was the best decision we could’ve made. The early morning light offers breathtaking views and magical colors, and the trails are still quiet and cool—perfect even for hiking with a dog. The main 10 km loop around Tre Cime is demanding but manageable. Be sure to bring water, as it’s not easily available aside from two cafés along the route. By the time we were finishing, the crowds were arriving, and the peaceful atmosphere started to fade. Totally worth the visit. Next time, we’ll definitely stay longer to explore the many other trails. A place to return to—again and again.

You absolutely have to do this – it was incredible! It had been on our bucket list for ages after seeing so much about it on TikTok and YouTube, and it did not disappoint. Just a heads-up – the system has changed a bit since some of the older videos were posted, especially regarding parking and camping. It’s now booked in 12-hour slots and it’s very popular, so you’ll need to pre-book through the official website. I believe you can book multiple 12-hour slots depending on availability, but it’s best to check what’s free when you’re planning. We booked the 9pm–9am slot and it worked perfectly. We got up super early at 4am and were out walking by 4:30am to catch the sunrise and enjoy a peaceful walk through the mountains. By the time we got back at 8:30am, it was already getting really busy – coach loads of people were arriving! Doing it this way meant we had the trails pretty much to ourselves, the temperature was lovely and cool, and we even saw (and heard) marmots! If you don’t go early, be prepared for crowds – it gets very busy. We absolutely loved it – worth every penny. We’ll definitely be going back… maybe even again during this trip!

A fairly accessible hike with a comfortable, wide trail, suitable for families. There are several spots along the way where you can take breaks or have a meal at local refuges. Note: the toilet access is paid - €1 per person Don’t forget to book your parking in advance, ideally at least a week ahead. It costs €40 for 12 hours
