Stayed 1 night recently as our villa wasn't available until the next day. We've stayed here before about 10 years ago and nothing has changed since then! The grounds are beautiful at this location and you can imagine in its day this was the place to stay.||||Here are the cons: The rooms are ok, comfortable, however, the tv didnt work (not that we really needed it), the room phone didnt work so good luck getting anything from the front desk unless you are prepared to walk the flights of stairs to get there. The wifi password was not provided at check in and when I finally asked for it later the code given was not valid. There was a critter living in the room above the bathroom that made noise all night! The check in area was lit with 1 light it seemed so at dusk it is very difficult to see in that room. The room door was a sliding glass door with a makeshift lock drilled into the frame which was rather sketchy to use especially with no light at the entrance. Screen repairs were made with duct tape (Jamaican ingenuity!)||||This place has definitely seen better days and is in need of a facelift. I think its a bit pricey for what you get to be honest. The view though can't be beat and we had a room at the top at the end which had the best view in the house. It was adequate for 1 night but staying for several days would be a challenge as rooms don't have mini fridges or coffee makers.

This hotel is run down and needs extensive repair, we had to be relocated to another room because of a leaky roof. The rooms are very musty and the bed was pure sponge, very uncomfortable and made your back hurt. The grounds are very dirty and no one came to make the beds or tidy the rooms. The pools were dirty and the beach was dirty as well. We had to brush our teeth in the bath because the face basin only had hot water. The television didn't work and we were told whenever its overcast or raining there is no cable service. The staff tho were very nice. I would never go back there.

My stay at Treasure Beach Hotel was very relaxing and the food is superb! Jennifer Brown was very patient with me as I thought I lost my way many times as I drove down in the night. Staff is friendly and it is worth the money! Downside.....they need to offer more Jamaican breakfast options such as salt mackerel, liver etc..... Keep up the good work staff at Treasure Beach!

Its a lovely quiet atmosphere. Some of outside parts on certain blocks need sprucing up. But the experience was great. All rooms have a/c, hot/cold water, wifi access and cable. Plus a view of the ocean.

Things are a little run down, but clean accommodations. They were working on getting the pools back in shape. Staff was friendly and very helpful. ||Beautiful property, but there are a lot of steps, if you have any mobility issues beware.

The place is a dump. The pool looks like it has never been cleaned. Could be beautiful but seems like the owners dont care any more. Shame. One of the most uninviting place I have ever been. Treasure beach as a community, however is amazing. I wish someone who cared would buy this place and fix it up.

Stayed 1 night recently for my birthday. The grounds are beautiful at this location however the upkeep cleaning etc needs to be carried out on a regular basis. The rooms are ok, comfortable, however, the tv didnt work (not that we really needed it). The wifi password was not provided at check in and when I finally asked for it later the code given was not valid. The room door was a sliding glass door with a makeshift lock drilled into the frame which was rather sketchy to use and man oh man that AC umit gave us the creeps when a noise was heard from it and ice came scattering every where. This place has definitely seen better days and is in need of a facelift. I think its a bit pricey for what you get to be honest. The view though can't be best and we had a room at the top at the end which had the best view in the house. It was adequate for 1 night but staying for several days would be a challenge as rooms don't have mini fridges or coffee makers.

My wife and I stayed here in December of 2010 and the experience was magical. We were in room 55 with a marvelous view of the ocean below. We were rocked to sleep each night with the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. Our only negative experience was finding our donuts and other goodies swarmed by ants only minutes after settling down in the room. Housekeeping was quick in their response and sprayed the room which left a scent we had to endure for the evening. However, the ants were back by morning. Our experience at YS Falls was delightful which is not very far from the hotel. The road conditions however was an issue and really slowed us down and discouraged the frequency of our travels away from the hotel. It was my 2nd visit to the Treasure Beach Hotel and would have gone back if it had not been for the poor road conditions.
