We stayed there for 2 nights and 3 days and I agree with the other reviews that we should have looked closer. We arrived there on the first day by noon and since we cannot enter out room yet as check in is 2pm, we went to the restaurant to order lunch. We were greeted with cigarette fumes as the entrance where the second giant pearl deco is found is a smoking area. It appears that smoking is allowed anywhere so do not be surprised to see a lot of cigarette buts strewn all over. Before entering the restaurant, I went to the restroom only to find used tissue thrown all over. I ignored it thinking it will be cleaned later but even on the second day, it was not cleaned.
In the restaurant, there were no available pork, beef and chicken dishes. Our first choice of fish menu was also unavailable. Despite that, we ordered some dishes with tiny serving of boneless bangus-the smallest portion I have ever ordered in any restaurant and we were charged 1700 which included sinigang na hipon, 2 servings of bangsilog, 4 rice. This included a 10% charge for only God knows why since we are registered guests and should have free access to facilities. This day, they have a large number of guests due to a convention and apparently, they are the priority. A few minutes before 2pm, we were allowed to enter our air conditioned room. There were mini soap bars, 2 sachets of palmolive shampoo 3-in-1, 4 towels as we are a family of four, a mini ref, a closet and a TV with no signal. We stayed in a room referred to as New Villa. In the evening, tables for their large group were set around the swimming pool. We stayed in their infinity pool which was warm and for me, the third good thing about the resort-the first ones being the mini ref and the room AC. By 10 pm, we slept to the sound of offtune notes from karaokes and drunk guests. On the second day, we woke up to the smell of beer and liquor and to the sight of liquor bottles around the main pool. In their breakfast stub, breakfast is served from 6:30-9am. We were there at 630 hoping to have an early breakfast in order to be bale to explore the public white sand beach because this resort has no sand shoreline! There are rocks before the ocean. Still nice but for someone who wishes to walk the sand, it is a letdown. During breakfast, we waited until almost 740 and initially, they offered only cornsilog. We complained at this point of poor service. They were giving us reasons like they had to serve the large group first-so ano kami, hindi importante? Singit o distorbo po ba sa inyo? We wanted a refund but they insisted on their no refund policy. A front desk staff apologized and offered longsilog for breakfast. Since we cannot have our payment for the second day refunded we had no choice but stay but we ate our meals in a restaurant outside the resort called BALIN ALAK. In fairness, they have better staff and food at a cheaper price. Going around the resort after our public beach swim, you find litter-old and new-around the resort. It is not really well maintained. The blue benches around as seen in the pictures are picture perfect but are dirty! You will find sauce stains, dried and ant-infested dropped food and others. The walkway they boast off in their ads, is just that..though it allows you to have a good view of the ocean. The ocean, with its pristine waters, is the only treasure you'll find in this resort. It's mother nature adjacent to manmade facilities that do not give it justice. All in all, NEVER AGAIN.
