Amanda on reception and Joe on the Bar concierge were so welcoming, it really does feel like you are staying with much loved friends.|This Apartment/Hotel has all the small things that make for a perfect short or long term stay. |Furnishings are plush and have the depth to sink deep into. There is even a pillow menu, to choose your filling. |Wind down wine between 4pm and 6pm to rest after your day of get you ready to head out for dinner. A full breakfast in the mornings with the most perfect poached eggs on the buffet - how do they do that, magic! |I’m a seasoned traveller and this type of accommodation is the best especially when delivered by a caring team.

Two adults two children no problems. Couldn’t be more accommodating. this hotel should be 5 star. The staff are the most welcoming friendly people you want to be greeting you. The hotel is spectacular inside. Old world charm but very comfy. Our room was very spacious. A king bed with a pullout for the kids which was still comfy. The room had everything. Small kitchenette. Washer dryer etc. there were so many little touches that made you feel special. Little chocolate treats. Little games. A Rubik’s cube to solve for a treat. Slippers, gowns etc. Breakfast was simple but very nice. Drinks in the afternoon with a snack bar always open. Didn’t want to leave but it was a great place to come back to in the afternoon after a long day in the city. The hotel is right in the city. Not sure if there is parking or not. The only negative is the lifts do take a while to access as one was not working vehicle we were there. Very minor. Apart from that this is one of the best places I have stayed at. Great value for money in comparison to other hotels we stayed at during our trip. You won’t be disappointed.

Wow wow wow came here from Sydney for a much needed weekend away with my sisters and mum. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed with such amazing service. The rooms were beautiful and super clean. The amenities were 10/10. It's the little things like a free glass of wine, snack bar and breakfast buffet included that made this experience even more enjoyable. We loved our stay so much. I've travelled a lot and stayed in many hotels in Sydney. By far this the one of the best I've stayed in with great service and such clean rooms. Thank you for an experience we will never forget. The architecture is so cute! Loved it.

Look no further, book Treasury on Collins now. Best to book direct for bonus inclusions like the complimentary afternoon wine down. Very convenient location for CBD activities, lovely restored heritage building, comfortable and quiet rooms. Breakfast buffet includes gluten free options. They will toast gf bread separately on request, had gf muesli packets and gf Bircher muesli. As well as hot options.

We stayed at 3 different locations in Melbourne. This was the final stay of our trip. |The arrival-day instructions via email were very clear. We took an Uber and dropped off just before IGA at Queen Street. Followed the signs to take the lift to Mezzanine level for check-in. |Our check-in was slow as there's only one counter. But it was because the guest before us had some long issue. |For us, we found the check in process to be a very simple procedure. We had arrived early so we just dropped off our bags and when we returned, we received an envelope with our key with information for our stay. ||We were allocated a corner apartment at Room X07. Dismayed to find that the balcony door didn't lock. Kinda panicked for a while and decided to just push heavy furniture to block that door. We had mini Molton Brown toiletries! With enough towels to last us 3 nights (housekeeping is every 3 days or you can request on daily).||Our unit had very comfy chairs in the entire apartment and more importantly, very comfortable beds. Really the best sleep in Melbourne CBD. We had choice of 4 pillow types (buckwheat which was comfortable, memory foam which is really too high/thick, latex, feather). Also met a very friendly housekeeper who apologized for only one memory foam pillow so offered a buckwheat one just in case. Thankful for the buckwheat!|The entire apart-hotel had very fast & free wifi. And the aircon was really great. All 3 aircons were super cold (one thermostat only) which we loved. ||Appreciated the couple of ottomans as we could place our bags on them and open them without needing to bend over. And there's full kitchen facilities plus a washer cum dryer with detergent provided. |We found our room super quiet because no trams on Queen St so had a very peaceful sleep. Just next door was an IGA convenience store. And we were walking distance to Hopetoun for scones, a few doors from a big Australia Post office, easy to get to Bourke St Mall, Melbourne Central, Queen Victoria Market, Crown Casino, Albert Park, Flinders Station, Chinatown .. We either walked, or just explored all by either by bus or tram which you can use MYKI card.||We we got fresh juice at AUD12.50 from Rhumbas at Crown, hot jam donuts from America Doughnut Kitchen at QVM, hot butter sugar crepes at La Petite Creperie and amazing breakfast at Hardware Societe (see my separate review). ||Yes, we will definitely stay here again.||If you find this review helped you in ANY way, kindly vote for me. Thank you.

The rooms are great for an adaptive, re-use development, and the building is beautiful with its history on display everywhere. We had a suite with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a kitchenette/living room that I think was perfect for my family and in-laws. The staff was some of the best, and they were funny, gracious, and helpful throughout our stay -- even with my restless toddlers not always acting properly. The location is excellent in the heart of the city with walkable everything: parks, shopping, casual and fine restaurants. We also benefitted from being in the free tram zone. We got a great feel for the life of the city at all hours during our visit to Melbourne. We loved our visit, and I think this hotel played no small part in that!

The exchange rate made this an exceptional value. ||We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment for five nights. The apartment was spacious, with a small kitchenette, and a washer/dryer in the bathroom, a nice convenience when traveling. The apartment was clean, and the bed comfortable.||Treasury On Collins is in a nice area in the central business district of Melbourne, within walking distance (30 minutes or less) to most major attractions, and close to several restaurants.||The breakfast buffet offered healthy options, and the wine-down (there is also beer) from 4:00-6:00 p.m. each day was a bonus. ||The staff was great, with special thanks to Amanda, who was particularly helpful.

The best place to stay in Melbourne! Centrally located to shopping and little cafes and restaurants.|The staff here are all amazing and super helpful|The rooms are large and comfortable so if you need to work you can. Strong Wi-Fi as well.|The buffet breakfast is great with hot food options, and variety of cereals and fresh fruit, and pastries of course|They offer free glass of wine in the evening between 4-6, which is great way to wind down.|We only stayed 2 nights, but next time will be longer!

Yelp
Me as a Traveler: Single, well travelled, stay at least 2 hotels a month on average, well paid employee, must stay at a high rated Expedia hotel as they are valid reviews (TripAdvisor I think is filled with inflated reviews & of course this hotel is ranked "#1" for Melbourne on that sham site), must stay at a highly recommended, centrally located, 4 star hotel and up that isn't going to break the bank but will also pay more if its good bang for buck. Hotel: stairs to the main entrance (terrible if you have bags... NO bellhop or hotel staff to greet you when you walk in). Must walk thru a restaurant with your bags unless you are smart enough to guess there is a side entrance where your taxi can drop you off and even then (no bellhop or trolly) if you are traveling with family or with more than one luggage this is super tiresome...this hotel is centrally located, but there are many others that are also centrally located that are just as good as this one (I moved to a different hotel after one night at this one). Very outdated rooms in a very old building. Hotel rooms have no views (my room faced another building's wall). I booked directly with the hotel to get the "happy hour" perk but I don't think it's worth it if the trade off is staying at this hotel. My room: queens suite... the picture of the room exploited on the site and other sites are deceiving, they make it look like the living room and kitchenette is divided by a wall. Not true. In fact it's divided by a Big TV on an early 90s tv stand (ikea has better furniture than this place) and on the photos the bathroom is focused on the shower bc they don't want to show you that there's a big washer machine below the sink and your bathroom is pretty much a laundry room. The size of room is like a small cabin on a cruise ship and it's def decorated like an early 90s cruise ship cabin. Have you ever stayed at a travelodge where they put the "this seat has been sanitized" paper around the toilet lid? Well, this one def came with that. Only perk is: Molton brown products. Other perk: the service and staff was good Major con: Feng Shui super off, didn't know what kind of hotel this was (family, couple?) just didn't fit any brand... Also... is this place haunted? I swear as I was coming Down the elevator I heard a woman's scream but it sounded more paranormal. Maybe the place is super freaky and the hallways have The Shining feel that it just got to my head? Anyway glad I got the hell out of there. Real Pictures of the place attached.

Yelp
I think it would be worthwhile noting that this hotel really is supposed to be like an apartment experience living in Melbourne than a luxury boutique that you thought you were getting when you originally booked the room. If you check in after midnight you have to check yourself in and the instructions are okay at best because the hotel navigation itself is confusing (maybe no fault of the staff). You face out into an alley way or the next business building with lights in the hallways that directly go into your window and its too late to ask for a different room because its past midnight. These are things you'd never get at a hotel or even a real boutique hotel, so sort of a negative experience on that. On top of that, the rooms were very poorly setup, strangely oriented, and the bed was so soft I had a backache because there was no support whatsoever. There was insufficient lighting at night in the room, and the bathroom definitely needed some upgrades. there were leftover (I won't say where) hairs on the counter and floors. The shower was okay, but it feels like no one actually lived in these apartments before they decided this was the design they picked, because water easily gets everywhere, and things are in awkward places for anyone over 5'4" (I imagine, I'm a bit taller than that, but honestly just very cramped). The only thing that was good about this place was location. There was no real lobby, no real place you can hang out, I think there's some kind of half weird second floor thing and if you book this hotel on any other site but their own, you don't get breakfast and a host of features you didn't even know about that they try to upsell you to after. Basically the only thing that was nice was we asked for an umbrella, and we got one, and it was some what broken actually but it sufficed us for the duration of the trip. I think if you're looking for a luxury experience you're better off at a hotel, as the Hyatt and several other places nearby are just as well located if not better, and definitely open 24/7 instead of having 'after hours' codes and check ins. They weren't priced much more or less than Treasury on Collins so save yourself the hassle!

Yelp
Wonderful staff, apartments are comfortable and exceptionally clean. We stayed here for 5 nights in August 2022, Also have stayed here pre-Covid. My minor complaint is that the breakfast on the mezzanine has limited variety, more fresh fruit would be nice.

Yelp
Great location! Very central and close to everything. Walking distance to Yarra river. Inside the free CBD tram! Huge rooms. Spacious. Comfortable beds. Great breakfast that's included in your stay. Lots of options and has snacks later in the day. We would stay here again and liked it over our other hotel.

Yelp
Outstanding! Book direct from hotel's website. Highly recommended especially in terms of cleanliness, service at front desk, location, and breakfast buffet. Gorgeous rooms, large and comfortable. Beautiful cotton linens. First trip to Melbourne and we are so happy we stayed with this accommodation.

Yelp
We had a wonderful stay here. The rooms were clean, very spacious and well appointed. The in-room washing machine came in very handy mid-trip. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet, delicious and very reasonably priced. I'll definitely stay here again.

Yelp
The Treasury on Collins was a lucky find! We stayed here for 5 nights on our month-long trip to Australia. These are serviced apartments with maid service every three days. We had a spacious queen suite with a comfy bed, kitchenette, sitting area and best of all, a washer/dryer. The hotel is conveniently located in the CBD within walking distance of good cafes, major attractions and the tram (free within the CBD). If you book directly there a free nightly wine tasting.
