We stayed at 3 different locations in Melbourne. This was the final stay of our trip. |The arrival-day instructions via email were very clear. We took an Uber and dropped off just before IGA at Queen Street. Followed the signs to take the lift to Mezzanine level for check-in. |Our check-in was slow as there's only one counter. But it was because the guest before us had some long issue. |For us, we found the check in process to be a very simple procedure. We had arrived early so we just dropped off our bags and when we returned, we received an envelope with our key with information for our stay. ||We were allocated a corner apartment at Room X07. Dismayed to find that the balcony door didn't lock. Kinda panicked for a while and decided to just push heavy furniture to block that door. We had mini Molton Brown toiletries! With enough towels to last us 3 nights (housekeeping is every 3 days or you can request on daily).||Our unit had very comfy chairs in the entire apartment and more importantly, very comfortable beds. Really the best sleep in Melbourne CBD. We had choice of 4 pillow types (buckwheat which was comfortable, memory foam which is really too high/thick, latex, feather). Also met a very friendly housekeeper who apologized for only one memory foam pillow so offered a buckwheat one just in case. Thankful for the buckwheat!|The entire apart-hotel had very fast & free wifi. And the aircon was really great. All 3 aircons were super cold (one thermostat only) which we loved. ||Appreciated the couple of ottomans as we could place our bags on them and open them without needing to bend over. And there's full kitchen facilities plus a washer cum dryer with detergent provided. |We found our room super quiet because no trams on Queen St so had a very peaceful sleep. Just next door was an IGA convenience store. And we were walking distance to Hopetoun for scones, a few doors from a big Australia Post office, easy to get to Bourke St Mall, Melbourne Central, Queen Victoria Market, Crown Casino, Albert Park, Flinders Station, Chinatown .. We either walked, or just explored all by either by bus or tram which you can use MYKI card.||We we got fresh juice at AUD12.50 from Rhumbas at Crown, hot jam donuts from America Doughnut Kitchen at QVM, hot butter sugar crepes at La Petite Creperie and amazing breakfast at Hardware Societe (see my separate review). ||Yes, we will definitely stay here again.||If you find this review helped you in ANY way, kindly vote for me. Thank you.
