Google
Cute shop with delicious baked goods and great coffee. We had a latte with an egg biscuit sandwich and a raspberry crostata. Also got a scone for later! Everything was delicious...some of the best baked goods we have had!

Google
I love Treats! I always stop on my way to Vinalhaven. I have dreams about their egg custard tart. You can't go wrong with any of the treats you find there.

George Sharratd

Google
This is a VERY popular spot for breakfast pastries. Treats opens at 7:30am. By 8:30am your selections have gone way down. I like everything I've ever had. The self service coffee bar is nice too. In the afternoon look over the selection of wine, cheese and breads.

Google
Nice people, delicious coffee, tasty baked goods(best options when you get there early😜). It's the hawt place to be so expect to park a bit a way. Moves quick and most people were out with 10-15 minutes.

Matt Higgins

Google
Solid local cafe with local & homemade goods, pastries, and more. Utilizing a variety of coffee from Maine roasters. Offering a decent variety of beverages.

Danielle Kirrane

Google
We stopped in 3x during our week-long stay nearby. They have a lovely selection of wine, olive oil, coffee, etc (perfect place for a hostess/house/petsitting gift)! Their pastries are also delicious. Staff is super friendly. Will definitely be back!

Google
Very cute spot with great savory and sweet treats. Perfect spot to grab coffee and breakfast on the go. The blueberry coffee cake was perfectly moist and fresh!

Landon W.

Yelp
This place is so amazing and truly fits into the town perfectly. The sandwiches and sweet treats were incredible. I ate here most mornings I was in town and every thing I had was goood

Mandy G.

Yelp
While staying just up the road in Wiscasset my husband and I came to Treats every morning for our coffee. The staff was always extremely nice and the hot and iced coffees were on point each time. The food was hit or miss, but when it hit, it HIT HARD! The strawberry rhubarb crumble was amazing, but the lemon coffee cake was not good at all. We got a ham croissant one morning that was supposed to be warmed up, but I think it spent a little too much time in the toaster. If it hadn't been so crispy it would have been very delicious. The danishes were good all around. Their food selection changes every day, so you'll just have to see what's on the menu and hope for the best!

Yelp
I love Treats. Every time I'm anywhere nearby I'll stop in for a coffee or iced tea and a little snack. There is a small parking lot in the back and some street parking as well. The vibe inside is perfect. The staff are lovely. I recently tried a slice of their pizza which was on FOCACCIA! I was in love. It had fresh tomatoes, entire gloves of garlic and was ultimately perfect. I also have tried their gluten free muffins and was impressed. I recommend Treats to everyone!

Kadyn C.

Yelp
I've only been in there a few times but I've had the food a bunch. Not much of a coffee drinker but the baked goods are wonderful.

Nicole L.

Yelp
Such a cool place, love the communal table to enjoy the superb baked goods, and the staff were so nice. I had a scone--one of the best scones in my life. Sooo good, perfect texture and great flavor. Hubby had the focaccia bread-maybe it's really a pizza? Not sure, but the massive piece disappeared quickly. Did I consider going back to the counter to order more things-yes! After checking out the must-visit Rock Paper Scissors store, swing by Treats for something special.

Jen B.

Yelp
Treats is one of those places to schedule drives and trips around, and look at real estate within a reasonable radius of. It's a special place in every way, from the incredible coffee and pastries, to pastas and olive oil I've seen only in a small town in Puglia, Italy, to tea towels and porcelain goods you can buy for each family member. The incredible staff make everything feel like a warm, family run place that you just want to hang out in. In short, it's a treasure and touchstone of midcoast Maine.

Beth W.

Yelp
This reminded me of an old general store, which was cool. However, I think they are trying to do too much. They can't decide if they are a bakery, coffee shop, or wine store. There was very little of any of those.

Josh H.

Yelp
I think this might be the best coffee shop bakery I've been to in midcoast Maine. The pasties are spectacular!

Lizeth G.

Yelp
I visited treats on a recent trip to Maine. The town center was very busy that morning, but we managed to find free public parking on the street. We ordered a Cortado with an almond chocolate croissant. The cortado came out quickly, though it felt like there was a lot if foam to espresso. The almond croissant was pretty amazing. Crispy and flaky, with the perfect amount of sweetness in the center. The space inside was adorable, it felt like a gourmet shop with the added bonus of fresh coffee and of course - treats! I'll definitely make this a regular stop on our frequent trips to mid coast maine.

Christine H.

Yelp
I can always count on Treats for fabulous baked goods. My only problem is making a decision -- everything is so enticing. The staff are friendly and helpful. I miss the former arrangement of the store that made it so much more appealing to sit at the long table and chat with neighbors. T he way it is set up now, I am not inclined to stay in the shop to enjoy my treat.

Lucia D.

Yelp
Such amazing breakfast treats! Weekends and whenever cereal won't do! Always a friendly staff, too!

Ruth J.

Yelp
Treats is my favorite place to be. I have lived my life there and I can't imagine not having them. The vibe is perfected. The food is so outstanding it's borderline magical. It is elegant and never stuffy. I think it's the realest place. The prices are still fantastic. Its such a great spot to get a gift for literally anyone, and it's not overwhelming.Treats is genuine, they aren't trying to sell you on it. I love the owners and staff so much that I go there just to see them. I highly recommend it to anybody anytime except Mondays. they are closed. Thank you guys for the care and love you put into your business. Its a gift to get to be a customer there.

Susan H.

Yelp
Treats have THE most delicious cakes and coffee! We alway make sure that we stop and visit them when we're in Wiscasset.

D M.

Yelp
Cute place - great bakery items... However, despite multiple reviews to the contrary, DOES NOT have Whoopi pies!!!

Steven T.

Yelp
Great spot for coffee and light breakfast. Friendly service. Good food- breakfast sandwich, scones, muffins- all tasty. Only draw back is the price

Ph C.

Yelp
We love Treats and eat there every time we are in Wiscasset to visit our daughter and her family. The food is always wonderful, and the staff is friendly and helpful!

Sandy B.

Yelp
Treats is, well, a real Treat! I pronounced their chocolate almond croissant one of the best things I ever ate after having one. But then it was nearly surpassed by Treats' ham and cheese croissant! It was pretty much a meal in itself with a nice hint of dijon mustard inside with the filling. Their scones are wonderful because of the nicely crunch exterior and soft delicious inside. At Treats, you'll see they have muffins, slices of cake including one or two gluten free options, and one or more main items like macaroni and cheese and pizza. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is prices are a bit high. But then again, everyone's food costs have been rising for a while now. I've read one of the reviews from last Fall and I must say the staff is very friendly. Someone who appeared to be an owner thanked me very much for my compliments when I went in to look for a chocolate almond croissant one day. It turns out they have regular days for those (which I believe are Friday and Saturday) but that the bakers may randomly make them on another day if they choose to.

Dana R.

Yelp
Yummy sandwiches and friendly staff. Awesome wine selection. Definitely check it out.

Alexa T.

Yelp
Super cute spot for coffee, pastries, wine, cheese, and assorted pantry items! I stopped by late afternoon, so I unfortunately missed out on any sandwiches. I only got two sparkling waters to drink while we waited in line at Red's Eats, but my short interaction with the cashier was pleasant! If anything, it's a great spot to peruse!

Chew B.

Yelp
I'm fussy when it comes to morning food. The biscuits here are so good I thought I was in the deep south. Service is friendly, coffee is good, and last weekend my wife actually drove the 30 minutes to get there just to bring back (I was working) the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had.

Kristen W.

Yelp
I'm a local and have never been but last week I finally decided to just go in and it was definitely worth it. I grabbed a Chai latte and a croissant and both were 10/10. Probably the best and most flavorful chai I've ever had. Definitely recommend!

Richard K.

Yelp
Obligatory stop in Wiscasset. Quite good coffee. Good selection of baked goods. Interesting, curated selection of craft beer, interesting wine, and tasty treats.

Yvonne S.

Yelp
Coffee & Latte were okay - average. Baked goods: had the frittata & a piece of berry cake which were average. Service was horrible. Server / cashier didn't get our items together, rather went on to serve others who came in after us while we waited for a latte. In the meantime she is observed running her hands through her greasy hair & then pulling the food items from the display case. Yuk!!!

Todd T.

Yelp
Always love stopping in to treats. Great selection of amazing cheeses, beers, and bakery items. The sandwiches are very good too!

Christine H.

Yelp
Fabulous pastries, great coffee, fine selection of wines and cheeses.....and friendly service.

Barbara T.

Yelp
Treats always surprises. Wine, cheeses, breads, chocolate, gourmet groceries, 'Penny' candies, all within reach just as you open the door! Venture in further to wonderful coffee, scones, croissant, biscuits, fresh farm eggs. As the morning changes to mid-day, pizza, soups, sandwiches take center stage. Never fails to please and the staff are delightful. Almost forgot! Guests coming for the weekend? Get some take-and-bake frozen scones & cookies to wow them while you get to sleep in a little longer.

Marc H.

Yelp
I Love Treats!!! There is always something to tickle your taste buds here at Treats! The Pastries are delicious, they have yummy salads delicious sandwiches and fresh brewed coffee too! Fresh baked pies, and wonderfully prepared soups. So if you find yourself on a cold day in Wiscasset or you are having a sweet tooth attack, stop and say hi! They are located right on the main drag as you pull through Wiscasset heading north on the right-hand side of the road. A small sign is easily missed!

Michael M.

Yelp
One of the little delights that we always make sure to hit when we are back in my wife's hometown. The variety is always a pleasant surprise!

Alex W.

Yelp
Pretty good croissants. Very good almond croissants. Bizarrely wooden and unfriendly service - mumbling and looking at the ground. A fly landed on the blueberry muffins right in front of the server's face and she didn't wave it away. Several hectoring signs about mask wearing - "transmission rates in Lincoln County are high," "a vaccine is like a raincoat," etc. I get health guidance from the CDC, not self righteous bakeries. Happy to wear a mask in any business that requests me to do so, but being scolded does not improve the baked goods experience.

Denny D.

Yelp
mouth watering baked goods ! Charming surroundings.

Jessica L.

Yelp
Absolutely stellar baked goods. As delicious as they are beautiful we have never been disappointed. Seasonal savory tarts are crisp, buttery and perfectly balanced. Croissants that are big and dreamy. Beautiful lamination and crumb. Don't skip Almond or chocolate almond if there are any left! The triple berry square was something to write home about. Fresh fruit and berries with a perfect crust and never cloyingly sweet. The most perfect bite today was the apricot almond scone. I very often find scones dry and too sweet or not sweet enough, like it was sent from heaven this was a delight to the senses. The fruit and biscuit were incredibly moist while still being flaky. I'll be going back for scones on purpose! I'd never have thought it. Take a peak through the side street window to their gorgeous, enviably rustic working kitchen. Let everyone else stand in line for lobster rolls while you score the real TREAT!!

Kathy H.

Yelp
The best bakery in the Midcoast! Everything is delicious! Breads, scones, cookies, and savory tarts r just some of our favorites. If u live local u can place an order online pick up on Fri or Sat.

Tim C.

Yelp
Really nice ambience, good coffee but really disappointing croissant. Having seen their baked goods selection and heard they bake the best croissants in the area we picked up one plain and one almond croissant, both of which were dry, chewy and lacking the flaky crunch you expect from a good croissant. So all in all, a mixed bag.

Ben S.

Yelp
We stopped by Treats on our drive from Portland to Camden for a quick coffee, snack and rest. We parked on the street and walked up to the gorgeous old building. Inside was really awesome, with high ceilings and old architectural detail. One half is a market and the other more of a bakeshop. We ordered two espressos and their fresh, homemade everything bagels. Everything was very high quality. The coffee was great and the bagels were really interesting. By no means were they NYC bagels - they were thinner - but they were really good in their own way. Delicious homemade everything bagel spice mixture, perfectly toasted and served with a side of yummy butter. It sounds simple but I can't tell you the number of disappointing toasted bagels with butter I've had in my life. Only regret is we didn't get a few more of their items to go.

Jane M.

Yelp
The best baked goods and friendliest staff! And if you show up on pizza day prepare to have your mind blown!

Brittany S.

Yelp
Oh, you little slice of heaven you. From the case of New England cheese that welcomes everyone at the front door to your rustic-style desserts and artisan foods including old fashioned gummies and local chocolates to olive oil soaps and hard salamis. Beautiful. Heavenly. I want to curl up in the corner and spend the entire day with you. I fought the urge to order a cheese plate for one buy taking the healthy route and ordering a cup of my favorite soup - gazpacho. But this wasn't just any gazpacho. This was a green tomato almond gazpacho. This was a make-me-feel-fresh-and-good-all-day gazpacho. Had I more time, I would have pulled up a chair at the rustic table in the back filled with flowers. Thank you for the unexpected dose of happiness. You're lovely and I can't wait to return...for some cheese and a bottle of wine of the wall.

Pam K.

Yelp
Treat's is always my go-to place for wonderful baked goods. My favorites are the scones & morning buns. Oh, and the turkey, cran-Mayo, fresh veggies, fresh bread sandwiches are the best. The servers are always pleasant and helpful. Treat's is a gem of a little store.

Sharon F.

Yelp
Go a lovely mocha drink that the server suggested & made for me. Also had a nice selection of specialty food items on the shelves. (Of which I bought a few). There were not many home made items, but it was later afternoon. Part of the business seemed to be closed ( whole side shut down), so they may just be a take out business for now since it was off season ( Oct 2021). Certainly worth a visit-

Vanitha S.

Yelp
Took a little break between the drive from Portland up to Belfast as we were both fading at the end of the day. So glad we stopped here in Wiscasset! The place is super cute and cozy with a mix of groceries, breads, wines, cheeses, etc. We ooh'd and ahh'd over the bakery case and decided each on a pastry and a hot beverage item. I don't remember the name of my pastry but it was a delicious fruit and cream baked good that was amazing. My friend got the "berry merrry" pastry. My chai that I got was delicious. Service was super friendly. It was too bad we were in a hurry as I would've liked to linger and check out more of the store plus the cute stores around it. Next time for certain!

Laura M.

Yelp
Such a cute spot. Perfect for a quick coffee run! We stayed in an Airbnb nearby and it was the perfect walk for our morning coffee. The place is filled with snacks and cool stickers and books, just a quaint spot.

Linny F.

Yelp
Love, love, love this place. The sandwiches are fantastic and bread loafs are yummy. Everything is fresh and with farmer market vibes. We're repeat visitors. Excellent coffee, with hilarious names. Thanks for being dog friendly, our lab Houston loved your spot.

Sarah C.

Yelp
I loved the communal table setup here. There were two sections of the building, but I only browsed the cafe area. Ordered a simple scone and a chocolate chip cookie with Maine sea salt to try. They have cups for coffee drunken there, and it doesn't seem like there's a restriction on size/refills, though I only had 3/4 of a regular sized mug. The baked goods aren't exactly cheap, typical prices for this kind of food, but they were good and they heat it up for you if you ask. They have honey for sweetener and local reading material. Their shop area sells some cute items that are good for a browse. The ladies that ran the place are clearly close with the regulars that come in, which can make the atmosphere very homey. It's a cute place to stop in if you just want to relax and have a cuppa.

Tracy K.

Yelp
I decided to stop in to grab a coffee based on other Yelp reviews. And let me tell you...this place is adorable! The employees were very friendly and helpful. I also believe this is a women owned business. My latte with soy was great, but I was blown away by their craft beer selection! I walked out of there with twelve different cans of local craft beer. I can't wait to get back and try these fantastic findings! There was also a nice cheese and wine selection.

Claire J.

Yelp
Treats is a great little shop. They have locally made pastries, desserts, bread and sandwiches at the counter. There is a table of penny candy, and shelves lined with assorted specialty food items (both local and from other states in the US) and gifts (linens, mugs, etc). A decent selection of coffee you serve yourself is available, with any add ins you need. In the second room is a beer/wine/cheese shop with a selection of higher end beer/wine. My main gripe is that it always seems under stocked and inconsistent. There are definitely always a plethora of treats (hence the name), but the bread selection either sells out immediately, or there are days they simply don't receive a shipment from the local baker. I totally get that this is a small shop that can't overstock items, and Wiscasset downtown is in a desperate need of a revitalization, so foot traffic is low (especially in the off season). The beer/cider seem incredibly under stocked. I don't get this as much, since it has a much longer shelf life than a lot of the other items in the store. I guess I just hope to see more stock and variety in their beer/cider/wine. I can't speak much about the cheese, but it's location seems under highlighted and easily overlooked. I plan to check this out more the next time I have guests over and am looking to put together a cheese board. I am interested to see if there is more stock in the summer season, but feel I can't depend on Treats as a consistent purveyor of goods, and rather a shop you just go into and see what they randomly happen to have that day. I always look around at the great space they have and just want more out of it. I totally understand the somewhat tough environment the area is currently in, and applaud them for being in business for so long despite the hardships the downtown seems to be having.

Gary Y.

Yelp
You can either wait in a huge line at Red's for a signature (and expensive) lobster roll, or you can walk down the street for a smallish market that serves baked sweet and savories, and a few lunch items. We had a very nice cheese tart square, an asian-ish noodle salad, and a cheese panini, and a very salty but original crackerbread, which was way too salty to eat by itself, but might be good with a hummus spread, something like that. Finished with a bread pudding. Everything is served on nice dishes. I wish there was a way to get a dab or two of the many cheeses in the wine and beer counter, or some salami (I think they had a stick there), but it was a nice place to sit and enjoy a light meal in a charming Maine village.

M G.

Yelp
Always a great stop when visiting or passing through Wiscasset. It's an upscale gourmet/gift shop with a French country vibe that has a great selection of fresh baked goods, delicious sweets, wines, beers/ciders. There is a large country table where you can enjoy your fresh purchases, enjoy the incredible aromas, and ponder taking something tasty for the road. The service is excellent; very friendly staff.

Kristen P.

Yelp
This cafe pairs well with a lovely stroll, changing leaves, and boots. It truly was perfect! The shop is adorable my whole milk latte and chocolate almond scone were delicious and my husband's hot black coffee did not disappoint. They also had several sweet and savory options.

Steve S.

Yelp
I was just walking by and thought I'd stop for an iced coffee. I purchased the coffee along with a "Bronut". Wowzer!! And as noted by many, they have an outstanding selection of beer, wine and cheese. Stop by!

Heath S.

Yelp
The baked goods are consistently beyond measure. The decadent blueberry crumb remains a favorite!
