Tree Grove

I pulled up to the reception at Treegrove just as Dan appeared with a warm welcome. I had the pick of a dozen pitches and chose one close to the facilities. A quick walk round to photograph the ponies in a daisy-filled paddock with the setting sun. The WC’s and washroom are maybe a little tired but the showers were spacious and hot. For the price you can’t fault this site. Dan was helpful with pointing me towards local shops to stock up the van for my onward journey.

Stayed with our motorhome on Tree Grove, just outside Kilkenny. Great selection of pitches. Dan was our point of contact and was very helpful with recommendations on eating and walking into town (about 30 -40 mins down canal path)

Comfortable Camping stay at Tree Grove. It's a mature well laid out all weather site with level pitches and generous toilet and shower facilities etc. All within walking distance of Kilkenny centre. Quick response from owner on booking enquiry.

Beautiful quiet site well within walking distance of kilkenny Town. Excellent facilities and all nicely kept. Toilet and showers were very clean.

Stayed here for 3 nights in a van and tent, what a wonderful little site.|€10 taxi into the city.|The owner was very helpful with advice on where to go etc.|Facilities were cleaned regularly through the day, definitely return.

Beautiful caravan park (accepting campervans and tents too), grounds wellmaintained and on-site facilities were spotless. Under 3k from the city centre, there is a lovely walk by the River Nore makes walking in & out a treat. Highly recommend this site.

Lovely place and Dan very helpfiul. A lovely quiet site. Showers, toilets etc. Would stay again. Plenty of space to put up your tent. Ponies and horses in the field. Glamping available and plenty of room for motorhomes. A walkable distance into Kilkenny where there are plenty of places to eat and drink.

Dan is a class above the rest , he gives the upmost respect and hospitality to his customers, the place is spotless and well kept campsite. Everything is in a walking distance too.

Last year me and my fiance spent two weeks touring around southern Ireland and this was the first campsite we stayed at. It did set a precedent as the staff were great, the ground good for pitching tents and the facilities clean. They have free hot showers and a kitchen/laundry area. It's a 5 minute drive into Kilkenny town centre or lots of people were walking along the river (which took around half an hour). There is bike hire on site but we didn't use this facility. Overall, a great stop for a touring holiday and there are lots of things to do in Kilkenny. It's a lovely town.
