Be very aware if you have pets! Advertised as pet friendly but dogs can not be left in the cabins unattended for any period of time. So be aware that if you want to go anywhere that doesn't allow dogs, you will have to leave them in the car. Restaurants or museum visits are not really an option. This isn't stated on their website and while it is stated on booking.com, you will have to go through multiple tabs that dispaly "pet friendly" before you will find this. Owner is aware of this and doesn't feel inclined to change. Place itself is ok (cabins are warm and lots of hot water in shared showers). The policy on pets is not the problem, it's the lack of clarity that caused an issue for me and a partially ruined holiday.

Got the cabin with my boyfriend for a wedding we were invited to. The cabin was clean, the bed was nice and it had a heater + heated blankets, which was very handy as it had gotten colder due to rain. Very close to Killkenny's town centre, which was a bonus!! We absolutely adore our stay, and want to come back when we can!!❤️

We were received with hospitality and a good sense of humor. We stayed on a grass pitch on top without hookup. Walking distance from Kilkenny with sidewalk and bike lane make access to Kilkenny easy and safe. We paid €38 per night for campervan and 3 adults. Affordable compared to average prices in Ireland.

Dan, the owner, was really helpful and friendly with great suggestions as to where to get food and drinks with the dog. While there he also helped to start one of the camper van’s with his little jump start pack, definitely Dan the Man😬. Access was quick and easy. Great location, clean with good facilities, close to the park and easy access to Kilkenny city.

Affordable, clean, and friendly accommodation! Highly recommend to anyone who loves camping and is visiting without their camping gear. The small glamping houses had everything you need to have a cozy night after spending the day in Kilkenny. Dan was great and super easy to communicate with!

Stayed here in our Motorhome, Dan and team were lovely friendly people. The campsite is really well set up. 20 minute walk into Kilkenny along the canal path which was beautiful. Highly recommend.

Excellent campsite for Campervans, spacious pitches, all with electricity and water. Also have glamping pods and tent pitches. Toilet clean and fresh, albeit a bit dated . Short walk into Kilkenny centre: <2km. Ideally located to explore Kilkenny city and surroundings. Excellent staff, owner, Dan, very approachable, informative and fun to chat with. Good WiFi on site too.

Stayed 5 nights in our campervan. Well run site with all the facilities that you need. A convenient location to Kilkenny with a great walk to the Castle and centre via the pathway beside the river.

Yelp
Last year me and my fiance spent two weeks touring around southern Ireland and this was the first campsite we stayed at. It did set a precedent as the staff were great, the ground good for pitching tents and the facilities clean. They have free hot showers and a kitchen/laundry area. It's a 5 minute drive into Kilkenny town centre or lots of people were walking along the river (which took around half an hour). There is bike hire on site but we didn't use this facility. Overall, a great stop for a touring holiday and there are lots of things to do in Kilkenny. It's a lovely town.
