Tree House Restaurante

Maria, is not just amazingly welcoming but super friendly! She is the face and theme of this restaurant. The food was excellent! We had the rib eye (cooked to perfection), and the pescado volador with chimichurri. We are more than happy with our choice of restaurant. The food is overall was a bit pricey, but it was so tasty. this was an insanely great meal. authentic costa rican cuisine. we got the meat platter and it was so flavorful. our waiter johnny was so friendly, and brought us sauces when we asked and was overall a joy. he made some great recommendations as well.

Everything about this place was hands down absolutely amazing. From the location, to the service, to the food. I ordered the pollo tree house and left no crumbs on my plate, it was that good. Our server was a great time and even taught me some Spanish which really made the experience. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for good food and a great venue.

The food was incredible. The atmosphere was out of this world. Johnny our waiter was amazing. Highly recommended after your cloud tour. Also, the live music was on point.

Visited for dinner during the low, rainy season. Great concept with an open roof and tree growing up through the center of the restaurant. It was soothing to eat there during some light rain but definitely might get a little soggy. The food was great, music was good and happened to be a live music night. Service is central American style, aka they don't rush you out so if you're in a hurry, you have to flag them for the check sooner rather than later.

It really is a must see / do experience when you’re visiting Monteverde. The ambiance is a 6/5, the food is delicious (the black beans were a little bland but great food otherwise) and the serves are super friendly. Like others have pointed out, just make sure you are not in a hurry haha. I flagged down my server for the bill and it was not much of a problem.

At a glance, the Tree House Restaurante may seem to be specifically geared towards tourists. I mean, I’m a tourist and it worked so, possibly. There’s the ficus tree winding its way through the place and you sort of climb to sit in a…well, a tree house. Tourist spot or no, the food was wonderful. No reason the two should be mutually exclusive. Karol was super kind and took great care of us. Great food and service. Thanks Tree House and thanks Karol! Oh, and a special shout out to the yuca dip - addictive!! Even if you can’t possibly eat another bite of food, you will not leave a single molecule of this behind. 😋🇨🇷
