They put one price on the menu and another on the bill. That's a fraudulent way of doing business in the hope that groups of people having a good time, won't notice. See pictures. (This is on top of and unrelated to the service charge which is also added.)

Great place for an informal lunch or dinner with a short menu of Italian classics wonderfully made. The food is delicious, fresh, well prepared and nicely presented. The chic small wooden space has a modern and minimalist touch with Japanese or Northern Europe influence. The staff is welcoming and cheerful. A nice spot.

Definitely the best place in the area. I have been coming here for years with my friends and I always ate well and had a good time.

TREEBAR!!!! 10 days in Italy and we visited here 5 times!! We needed a place to grab sple grub and have a few drinks to unwind after our flight and check in. I saw this place on my Google maps prior to booking our trip so I added it on the "places to go" and oh my was I glad we visted!! The staff alone is a reason so go!! Everyone is beyond nice, knowledgeable and due to us being Americans and having a slight language barrier, they were more than helpful in selecting items to eat and drink! The drinks were to die for and the food was beyond good! We love the staff their Anna was great as well as the host and the bartenders! Our true love was Eleonora!!! She was the first person we encountered at Treebar and we fell in love with her right away!! She made the most amazing drinks and even when we came back the next day she knew what we wanted!! Days three four and five she was there and we were so sad to leave our new friends!!! The atmosphere there is amazing and its super chic and festive!! The most relaxing and vibrant place!! Not to mention it was 4 minute walk from hotel! Treebar, you far exceed our expectations and we will be back!! Forever your American friends!! ~Christine. Tiffany. Taylor. Samantha.

So happy we stumbled on this hidden gem on our way to Maxxi museum, as first-timers in Rome. The food, the staff, the atmosfear and omg : The tiramisu. Best in Rome.

Had some delightful drinks! It is a proper cocktail bar, so they make some delightful concoctions, and they have no shortage of options. Good ambiance, good food, and desserts too!

Pretty cool place, super busy so make sure if you want a table inside, you book ahead. The snacks were decent and then we ordered some food which was good, especially the potatoes. A really nice pour of wine, fair!! And decent selections. We will definitely come back and definitely recommend.

Yelp
First of all, take it as a good sign that there aren't many reviews of this place in English! This is a truly local hangout without being "small and tiny" where the non-Italian speaking tourists feel out of place and find themselves without a drink 30 minutes after entering. Think of this place as a big garden bar where you get drinks inside and go outside and drink. I've been here many times for drinks ("happy hour") and also for dinner. For drinks it gets a solid 5 stars but for dinner just 4. For dinner the menu is pretty standard, not even traditional Roma, just Italian. The pizza and the cortoletta are always safe to order. The food is overall okay - not bad not amazing. This is a better place for grabbing an aperitivo (happy hour drinks) with a group of friends. Go right up to the bar inside, order a drink and grab a plate and load 'em up with the snacks they have out and find yourself a space outside to park and drink/snack-on.
