Treehouse Hotel Silicon Valley (Silicon Valley, California) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Treehouse Hotels’ first U.S. outpost brings a dose of playfulness to the tech capital. Hidden among office blocks, the property opens into a greenhouse-style lobby, a lawn-framed pool, and rooms that revel in nostalgia: stump-shaped tables, owl-embroidered pillows, record players, even toy soldiers in Mason jars. Dining includes a lively beer garden, a breezy café, and Valley Goat, the signature restaurant. Families and business travelers alike find it appealing, with kid-sized robes, tent packages, and plenty of whimsical touches that keep the sheer sense of fun threaded through the stay." - Tablet Hotels

What a unique and fantastic stay! The landscaping design and greenery were gorgeous and really added to the peaceful atmosphere. I could tell that they put a lot of thought into creating a treehouse vibe and they did such a great job. All of the plants throughout the property and even in The Commons, Valley Goat, and Backyard Café were lush, healthy, and happy. I’ve never stayed at a hotel that was this dedicated to their plants and I’m thrilled that I had a chance to enjoy it!||The room was welcoming, comfortable, and nicely decorated. It was lovely to see so many different lighting options, from bright and welcoming to warm and cozy. One thing that could be changed is the angle or duration of the motion-sensing light under the sink. My husband and I both ended up in a dark bathroom on the first day because of it, but we learned quickly to turn the lights on ourselves instead of relying on the motion-sensing light which dimmed after a minute or so. It wasn’t a huge issue for us but just thought it was worth mentioning.||We enjoyed dinner at Valley Goat and both though the food and service was amazing!||We would stay here again the next time we’re in the area!

This resort style hotel did not disappoint. The decor is ‘chic summer camp’ style and the rooms were adorned with tons of cute thoughtful amenities. There was a Corner nook cushioned bench for relaxing, with cubby holes under for shoes and backpacks. ||The beds were very comfy and the fluffy robes provided were great after showering. ||The gym is top-notch with everything you could ask for and a lot you didn’t know you needed!||The pool is massive and has cabanas for rent should your family join you on your trip. ||The restaurant is exquisite and packed, so make sure you book in advance. ||The beer garden sits among a huge garden with tons of outdoor seating, gathering spaces complete w heat lamps and fireplaces. ||The staff is incredible. Gabe, who helped w our luggage, made sure to greet us whenever we noticed him around the property. Nate was quick with a smile and recommendations from the beer garden. ||We had a snafu our first night, when we couldn’t get live TV and our alarm was chirping around 1am. The GM, A’mia, pro actively reached out within 24 hours to check on us and offered amazing hospitality to make it right. She was gracious and responsive. ||Highly recommend and we’ll be back.

We visited the beer garden with young toddlers and can't wait to come back. It's the perfect environment where parents can relax while kids are having welcomed fun. We were lucky enough to be served by Nate who was super friendly! The property is gorgeous with lots of space for seating and roaming around. We felt truly relaxed with the all around good vibes and live music! We'll definitely be regulars here since there's nothing else like it in the area!

Polished new hotel, opened March 2025, perfectly positioned for some of Silicon Valley's big-tech HQs and right off the Freeway. Smart, clean and well appointed, the hotel has a relaxed yet elevated feel. Very cool selfie-ready reception area with games and a moss-covered VW Beetle. The check-in experience was quick and friendly, finding my rooms wasn't as easy as I hoped, some extra signage would be a good addition. The bar and restaurant were swish and pleasant. Great range of cocktails and food options. Everything I ordered was tasty and well presented. The room I stayed in was a junior suite on the ground floor. It was very cute, adorned with cabin-like decor and a folksy vibe (quilted duvet headboard, several dozen vinyl albums to buy, a couple of jigsaw puzzles hidden in nooks, and lots of books). With such a large selection of vinyl in the room, I expected to discover a record player - there wasn't one, but it'd make a cool addition. There's a stylish mini-fridge under the writing desk, sadly it was not stocked, perhaps a missed revenue opportunity, I certainly would have enjoyed a couple of mini's and some wine had it been available. With that said, the fridge can be stocked on your request, but you only find out that's an option once you're in the room. In the bathroom, there are plenty of towels and good quality toiletries. The walk-in rain shower with separate hand-held attachment is excellent. The bed was very comfy, with many pillows. The TV has a delightful welcome screen. The remote has "Netflix" and "Amazon" buttons, they were not activated during my visit, and the timing of several cable channels available seemed to be misaligned with the guide. I gave up trying to figure it out and ended up watching a lot of Antiques Roadshows - which I enjoyed very much, having never watched the show before. The in-room coffee and tea situation is a Nespresso with lots of pod options. The experience was let down by powdered sachets of milk, vs the usual mini-creamers, or better still, some fresh milk in the fridge. The biggest issue I had was the noise from my neighbor upstairs. They appeared to walk an awful lot and I could hear their clomping footsteps all the way through to midnight, which point I called reception to ask if they could help. The foot stomping ceased shortly after, but commenced again at 6:30am. The hardwood flooring is lovely, but perhaps carpeting the rooms would help dissipate that and improve the experience. Overall, this is a lovely hotel and I recommend staying here.

I was in Palo Alto for business and loved staying at the Treehouse. My room was so nice and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff is exceptional. Obsessed with the hand soap and lotion scent. I would add more options to the dine in room service but overall it was an amazing experience!

Google
My only complaint is I can’t stay longer! Miss Mikeala arranged everything pre arrrival, Mr. Gabe lugged massive suitcases upstairs with a smile, and Mr Nate went the extra mile ensuring I had a proper glass of wine after a long trip in. ||I wish I caught the names of the kind valet and hospitable front desk agent. ||The room and grounds itself and lovely with thoughtful details at every turn. Get the cabin with the bathtub. Just trust me on this.||I’ve been on the road for a month straight and can easily say this has been my favorite hotel.

Google
Beware Tesla Supercharger users. I have used this supercharger at the hotel location multiple times as it is publicly available to Tesla owners and not a destination charger. As of late they blocked access to the superchargers with cones and a barricade. 1 valet employee told me the chargers were all broken because of construction. This is false as the Tesla app has the current state of them. I called the front desk and the lady said the chargers are available only to hotel guests. This kind of restriction is only allowed for Destination Chargers and not Superchargers. Another lady said that all chargers are not available because the valet needs spaces to park cars. Which is also unethical. 3 different stories from 3 different employees. Not the type of place you want to spending your time or money at.

Yelp
We went for 2 night getaway , it was wonderful unique hotel. Cozy birdhouse decor , lovely pool and the staff were friendly and helpful. The "Valley Goat" restaurant was amazing , we ate there both nights. Breakfast cafe by the pool was also delicious and great service. we had records and a record player in our room. This hotel is brand new , it was a great escape , with a friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend this fun spot. R. Hauser

Yelp
We didn't stay overnight, but our impromptu visit to dine at Valley Goat turned into something far more delightful. From the moment we stepped into the hotel's registration area, we were charmed by its spacious, airy layout and playful touches--vintage rotary phones, whimsical art, and little nods to nature everywhere. The lobby strikes the perfect balance between imaginative and inviting, making you feel like you've wandered into a grown-up treehouse retreat. And yes--the LOVE BUG is the perfect backdrop for a fun selfie! The property itself is full of surprises: a breezy Backyard Café ideal for sipping wine or lounging, and a stunning poolside area with sunlit cabanas and cozy fire pits--perfect for lazy afternoons or casual gatherings. Out of curiosity, I explored the hotel's website and instantly fell in love with the thoughtful design of the guest rooms--nature-inspired décor, private patios or balconies, and hidden nooks that invite you to pause and stay awhile. Hopefully my family and I will get the chance to experience an overnight stay soon, because this place truly feels like a destination of its own.

Yelp
IMHO Cool new hotel in Silicon Valley! We drove in to check out Stephanie Izard's new restaurant located within the property, "Valley Goat". Got lost trying to find our way in but after driving around in circles, we eventually found parking behind the hotel near the large bank of Tesla Chargers! Next time, just drive into the hotel valet area and head to self-parking! We walked into what appeared like a giant glass greenhouse. We soon learned that we had walked into the hotel registration area! This is the most whimsical registration ever! We were welcomed very kindly, even though we weren't guests, but just curious travelers. Tree house, nature and so much more are the themes throughout the hotel property, which is elegant, woody and beautifully landscaped, and fun! There's a giant beer pong game on the grounds, plus play areas for the kids, and picnic tables amidst garden pots with growing herbs. The hotel buildings are no higher than three floors (I think). I would've loved to see the rooms, but I think they probably follow a unique natural theme. The first-floor rooms enjoy a lovely lanai with colorful lounge chairs facing the enclosed pool area and walkways. Since this is an open area hotel, we saw uniformed security people walking around. They weren't obtrusive at all, but visible at times. We know where Valley Goat is now, for a future dining experience!

Yelp
DESTINATION HOTEL IN SILICONE VALLEY. This was really a fun place to stay. There are only three of them in the world. You stay in one of several two story structures. The rooms are treehouse themed with modern amenities. There is a lot of wood in a colorful decor. There's a pool with a jacuzzi, several restaurants and a beer garden with many craft beers. At night, the beautiful grounds are lit up and highlight the wooden art structures and dirt paths that wind through the ambling complex. I would go to Sunnyvale. Just to hang out here. It's that nice. You will have a comfortable room with a walk in shower, coffee maker, small fridge , balcony or patio and every amenity you would expect from a five star international hotel in an earthy inviting camp like environment. The staff are friendly and accommodating. One thing. If you are handicapped or challenged climbing stairs, the two story housing structures have no elevator, so make sure you stay on the first floor. Excelsior.

Yelp
I didn't stay here so can't give an informed review of the rooms but I enjoyed their facilities for an all day working offsite. The service is terrific. Every staff member I interacted with was very friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and chic-savant eclectically decorated. I'm going to call this an oasis in the middle of an industrial Silicon Valley area. When you arrive in the lobby turnaround, valets immediately greet you and help TL with your bags. The Valley Goat restaurant has a delicious Asian fusion fare and once again great service and aesthetic appeal. More details to come when I get to that specific review. I wish I had time to try the beer garden but perhaps the next opportunity I get to visit. They have some nice outside seating and a small corn hole game. Just to pass the time or while you wait to be seated at the Goat. I didn't get to try the pool but it looked beautiful. The collaboration conference rooms are once again beautifully aesthetic and whimsical, including wooden furniture, a cotton candy machine, and in one room, an old school table video game. Great large flat screen was viewable from all sides and natural light flooded the room to keep you alert and attached to nature. Overall, a great find. I believe it's a fairly new facility as of May 2025.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel with a big gym, workout classes and yoga. I dined at the restaurant valley goat and their food is amazing, I recommend the biscuits and empanadas! The pool features cabana you can rent and plenty of sitting area and lounging. There is a beer garden with live music on Wednesday to Sundays and lawn games to play. It's a beautiful area with beautiful amenities!

Yelp
"There he is....Welcome Tater Tot!" When they know your dog's name but not yours, I know we are in the RIGHT place! Only dog owners will understand. Opening last week, this is Treehouse Hotel's first U.S. location. This Europe based brand with locations in London and Manchester is the BEST dog-friendly hotel in the Bay. Welcome dog treats, plushy dog bed, bag of dog treats, food + water bowls, dog bandana, etc. Best of all...dogs stay for FREE! In this economy? Pet fees usually range from $50-$250 so this is a win for dog owners. C O N C E P T Treehouse Hotel is inspired by childhood treehouses. Whimsical and playful. L O C A T I O N Located in a business park, steps from Google's Sunnyvale Campus. The only drawback is it isn't very walkable. DT Sunnyvale is about 2.5 miles away (~9 minute drive). BUT, there's no need to leave the hotel with their dining options. D E A L S There's 8 deals. I took advantage of the "First Dibs" deal which offered up to 30% off room rate, free room upgrade, late check-out, and a $50 dining credit. T H E G R O U N D S Treehouse Hotel took over the old Sheraton hotel and they did an amazing job with the transformation. There's three dining options, a beer garden with large scale games (connect four), meeting/event spaces, 24/7 rec center (w/ peloton bikes, weekly fitness classes), and more. There's a nice pool with a hot tub and cabanas but it wasn't open during our stay. D I N I NG No complimentary breakfast and currently, no room service. (1) Backyard Café Open for breakfast and lunch: Breakfast sandwiches and BYO lunch bowls. Array of grab 'n go items. Didn't try. (2) Beer Garden Over 30 beers on tap, wings, sausages, and pizza. We tried their Wood Fired Wings, Lemon Pepper and Cajun (10 pc - $17) which were meaty, well-spiced, and delicious. Their Hot Dogs and Sausages w/ housemade chips ($12-$13) hit the spot! (3) Valley Goat Their crown jewel serving New American Cuisine with global influences from Stephanie Izard, the first female to win Top Chef and a James Beard Award winning chef. A destination resto, you won't find anything like this in Silicon Valley. Separate review to come. R O O M We stayed in Room E106, the Patio King with a front view of the pool. Perfectly appointed and so freakin' cute! Cabin meets treehouse vibes. (+) Comfy king bed with plushy but firm pillows. (+) Great design with cute and thoughtful touches like snake book lights, motion sensor bathroom light, rotary phone, and vinyl records. (+) Rainfall shower had good temperature and pressure. (+) Retro mini fridge and Nepresso machine. Filtered water station at the end of the hallway entrance. (+) HD Smart TV. Fast and consistent WiFi. (+) Lots of outlets and bedside USB outlets. (+) Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion had a pleasant smell. Soft towels. (+) Robes, slippers, iron, ironing board, safe, and cordless lighted vanity mirror. (+) Quiet a/c. (-) No handle to pull dresser door open so be careful of breaking a nail. (-) No patio gates. S E R V I C E 5+ star hospitality from hotel staff. I wasn't able to get everyone's name but everyone from valet, front desk, and housekeeping were super kind and welcoming. Shout out to Amy, Renaldo, and Nate (Beer Garden) for your awesome hospitality. Always appreciate a welcome note. Also, received a tote and reusable canteen. P A R K I N G $25 self parking or $30 valet. Plenty of Tesla charges. Overall, we loved our stay at Treehouse Hotel and I already booked another one for next month's staycation!

Yelp
This is a review for the lovely staff gave us a tour of the place on their first day open. Having had drinks at the restaurant we were wandering around thinking the property had been open for a while but they opened on the same day. This used to be a Sheraton back in the day? It's basically unrecognizable to me. My friend however works down the street and basically chronicled all the construction that has happened with what used to be all Lockheed and other defense contractors, to industrial warehouses and now mostly tech and a small university dateline campus. Super crazy. Definitely a cool hip spot and I'm sure the tech bro crowd will be inhabiting it soon enough.

Yelp
Thank you for the wonderful event yesterday at your hotel. My sweetie and I enjoyed it. The food was delicious and that urban outdoorsy elegance of the hotel was quite an experience to behold. My sweetie and I will definitely consider this place for any upcoming events we ever consider. It was amazing that we both won a prize, that was amazing luck!

Yelp
Loved this hotel. The food is amazing! The property is so beautiful and had everything we needed for staycation.

Yelp
Facilities look great, hotels look nice, but service is a mess. First, was told room would be ready at 2:30. We arrived on time, instead of doing others things. Room was not ready. Was told it would be ready at 3. At 3, and after they put other people in rooms, was told room was not ready and would be ready at 3:20. Come 3:35, room is still not ready. So, so bad service. UPDATE: Get to the room, and the TV does not work.

Yelp
Such a fabulous spot. While you wouldn't think this oasis exists right outside of Google offices by one oh one, it completely transports you into a magical lush immaculate resort that I would say is comparably better than Rosewood and four seasons for sure. The consistency of the waters in the pool and hot tub are the perfect temperature and texture. I've been to every single resort in the area and this is the best. The staff is also very friendly and unpretentious. A absolute treat for a staycation or even a destination. Amy is super nice and everyone is just pleasant and helpful.

Yelp
Spoke to manager about a really rude server here i dont recommend this place. Spoke to manager right after incident and she took my info but did nothing other than that well see if I receive a call back hope so or vad reviews will rightfully let others know how thos restaurant treats customers horrible !

Yelp
Our server was Knowledgeable of the food , dietary restrictions and recommendations to choose from the menu . Food was fresh and delicious and for sure we coming back . Cheers to you all .

Yelp
Fantastic resort with a retro feel, complete with a greenhouse reception area, beautiful tropical pool area, and beer garden reminiscent of being in a friend's backyard. The beer garden often features fun live music from beloved Bay Area musical groups such as local jazz band Retronotes.

Yelp
It was a new hotel in Silicon Valley and it was nice beautiful hotel. The gym was awesome the environment of the hotel was serene and very quiet. Room service takes forever and I have to follow up for my orders, I received my food without utensils. I was sleepy and starving so I was very upset and frustrated. My room has issue with A/C noise at late night hours on my last night staying at the hotel and it was really loud. The technician cannot solve the issues and I have to sleep at night with loud noise coming from the A/C unit on and off every 15 minutes and technician said that they have been receiving complaints about the noise but I guess they never resolve it. Its new hotel so hopefully they could fix the issue with the A/C. The food from Goat Valley is alright if you like to eat salad then you will like it. The salad is so fresh, the goat empanadas is actually Plantain chips was ok, I prefer Porto's bakery mariquitas. I'm still willing to come back and give this hotel another try. This hotel has unique character. Without the noise in my room, the hotel itself is perfect to unwind and relax for little getaway. They have beeryard as well and the reception is a green house theme which I find it very cool the hotel is very clean and my hotel room smells brand new.

Yelp
Went here for dinner Friday night expecting a big deal. Food was not inspired, decor was cool tho! My waiter Shawn was hilarious. A while later I'm suddenly aware of grim demanding faces from what appeared to be restaurant managers, especially a tall woman standing by the DJ booth. It felt strange as a customer seeing the way they were grouped together. I probably won't come back.
