Where to Drink + Dance in Miami
View Postcard for Treehouse

Google
I love Treehouse. Always great DJ’s and a cool, fun, friendly crowd. I’m a regular. Hot tip: Go early around sunset for half-price entry and more room on the dance floor. Drinks are expensive but that’s Miami for you ;)

Rob Lloyd

Google
Best music at any club I've played at in Miami. Awesome split between front and back room. Cool outside section. Excellent DJ's. Quality sound.

Macey Broussard

Google
I love that this venue offers free entry before 11 & books well known DJs. Having different parts of the club that you can hang out- inside either of the two rooms or outside. It’s always a fun time.

Yinet

Google
For those who never been here like myself There are three small/medium different areas, two with music(different DJ’s each) and the third one is outside in a patio with a second bar so you can seat and talk. Is the kind of clubs than starting arriving people at 12am

Google
I have to confess that I was somewhat uncertain because of all the reviews I had seen here, but I must tell you that they modeled the club for you and it was incredible! the music, the atmosphere! absolutely everything was amazing! the entrance was free before midnight, you can leave the club and re-enter! the prices are not absurd! definitely VERY GOOD CLUB! we will surely return 😎

Emily SIbert

Google
Atmosphere was great, people were really nice but paid 69$ for three red bull and vodkas. Got in for free before 12pm wich was cool but don't buy drinks there. Not worth it. Get drunk somewhere else.

Treehouse Miami was an absolute disaster! From the moment I stepped foot inside, I knew I was in for a night of disappointment. The music blared at ear-splitting volumes, making any attempt at conversation futile. But the worst part was their water charge. Can you believe they had the audacity to charge an exorbitant fee $13 for a bottle of water? It's not like they were offering some fancy, infused, artisanal water. No, it was just plain, ordinary water bottle and yet they had the nerve to slap a ridiculous price tag on it. I understand that clubs need to make money, but seriously? Charging customers an arm and a leg for something as basic as water is simply outrageous. It's a blatant cash grab, preying on people's basic need to stay hydrated in a crowded, sweaty environment. Save your money and avoid treehouse Miami at all costs. Not only will you have a miserable time in their rundown establishment, but you'll also end up paying an absurd amount for a water that should be available at very minimum price .

Google
This place is a scam!!!! I went with friends while on spring break because the reviews are so good. There is only 1 room that is all black. It was poorly ventilated and smelled horrible. The same 2 EDM songs were playing on repeat even though there was a dj standing there. They overcharged my card $15 when and when I confronted them they said oh it's extra fees and taxes I’ll just give you $10 back in cash. The total was only supposed to be $50 for one girl and one guy. They just expect you not to notice. They did it to my friend I was with too. Please save your time and money and don't bother.

Anastasia Z.

Yelp
First of all, I am not a club person, so I can't give an objective opinion. But I will write MY opinion. My friend brought me to this place and from outside it looks like a "hole in the wall". I would never even know that there is a club. They have two big rooms and a backyard. Different styles of music in both rooms. You can do table service. We didn't order bottles, just drinks. They were pretty good. No dress code whatsoever. Somebody in a ball gown and next somebody just from the beach. I guess it is just a cool place. They have a cover charge and I understood that it depends on the event. This is not my scene and I will not go there again but for club people it is really nice. Even I enjoyed the music and mixing and the light show. I would update the bathrooms though. Butterflies on the faucets does not cover the disaster all around ;) Recommended if you are into clubbing.

Alex P.

Yelp
If you haven't visited Treehouse and want a club experience, definitely make the trek! We had the best service in Miami at Treehouse. Pro tip: ask for ear plugs or bring some to wear. Ambiance is very loud with an mesmerizing light show. DJ kept it bouncing back and forth with big bass and trance tracks. The party before 12:30 am was moderately packed and after 1:00 am the venue erupts with energy. Our server Olga made table service incredible! She frequently tended to the table, poured drinks, and security kept the table tidy. I'd recommend the service! Between lines at the bar, crowding, and layout, it makes sense to go ahead. Bathrooms are what you'd expect at a club/venue. There is an attendant in each restroom. Bring singles to tip your attendant for better repeat service. Offerings include sundries you may have forgot, mints, towels, tissues, cologne/perfume etc. ATM conveniently located just outside the restroom doors close to the entrance/exit. Admission? Yes. $80+ per person Do you pay admission with table service? No. Table service minimum? Email the bar beforehand and asks about minimums! It was worth it for a group of 7 to go ahead and book a table.

Phineas W.

Yelp
This place doesn't have customers for some reason. Overcharge entry fee for 25 and a shot for 27. Bad experience

Valentina B.

Yelp
Best spot to end the night when you just want to keep dancing! Bathrooms are a little sad. Music is unbeatable!

Billy O.

Yelp
Had to write a review simply because I saw way too many 1 stars. Take it from someone who's lived in Miami 7+ years, this place is a vibe. You need to understand that to truly appreciate this place you need to love EDM. It is the epitome of the scene - loud music, attractive people and expensive water. Are there better clubs in Miami? No doubt - Mayami/LIV/Story/Space wipe the floor with this place. However, if I was looking to have the best night with friends, I would get some rolls and come here. The vibes are immaculate. Trust

Deniece W.

Yelp
When I want to dance my a$$ off & leave dripping with sweat, my legs weak and shaky, in the wee hours of the morning, this is where I come. Treehouse gets loud and smokey and crowded and I love it. Update: not sure when this went into effect but as of June 2019, no cigarette smoking allowed indoors! You will still see plenty of vape pens though. The DJs here are typically house, trance, and techno. Check Eventbrite or Ticketfly-there are usually free tix to be had if you arrive before midnight. There are 2 main areas, each with a bar & a DJ playing, and an outside area in the back, also with a bar. Update: as of June 2019, the back outside area was closed off/inaccessible. The drinks are kinda pricey, so I recommend pre-gaming elsewhere. The bartenders will also give you a hard time if you ask for a glass of water, but if you're really nice or start crying because you're dying of thirst, they'll occasionally hook you up.

Julia B.

Yelp
Best club in Miami! The sound system & lights are amazing. If you love house music this is the place to go! Super affordable compared to other places in miami. Service 10/10.

Kara T.

Yelp
Late night EDM club with 2 large rooms - each with their own bar. There is a large garden/patio area outside, also with its own u-shaped bar. Some benches outside but not enough! There are lots of lasers, sweaty people, and not covert drug usage. The cover to enter usually isn't insane compared to other Miami Beach spots, so that's a plus! Expect to pay large amounts for bottled water and heavy pours of very cheap liquor. They do not serve tap water at all. When it's late night, the options become more limited, but Treehouse will do the trick.

Y E.

Yelp
Biggest SCAM in all of Miami. $15 for Costco water bottles in 100 degree heat, rude bartenders, terrible A/C, bad sound system, the list goes on and on. The only saving grace is the artists who have no control over the venue. This is a new level of greed even for Miami. I advise anyone considering coming to this disgrace of a club to go to the many other locations throughout the city. If you somehow do end up here, you were warned. I implore you to do better for the mere sake of humanity.

Anna S.

Yelp
This is consistently one of my favorite clubs in Miami Beach. For starters, you can typically reserve an entry ticket for free online (Eventbrite) as long as you do it before the day of the event and you show up before the time stated on the ticket (usually 9pm). In the first room, the DJs usually play techno music and in the second (main) room, the DJs play trance music (a lot of them are from the Anujabeats label). Be advised: if you don't like either of these genres of music, don't come here. This isn't a bump & grind kind of club and most of the people who are there have a deep appreciation for techno/trance music OR are the kind of people who can adapt and have fun anywhere. My only complaint is that the drinks here are kind of expensive, which is what you can expect from a Miami Beach club that is right off of Collins Avenue.

Rosy V.

Yelp
If you love loud blaring music making it absolutely impossible to have a conversation this is the right place and if you're coming out for a night on the town in Miami expect to pay $13 or more for water you're at the right spot! So many amazing artists and the vibes are immaculate. Don't be like the other guy complaining about his decision to come out in one of the best places to party in south Florida!

Alexander Y.

Yelp
Came here for Yotto's show during Miami Music Week 2019. Gotta say that I've been in better places, I've definitely been in far worse places, but overall I enjoyed my experience here. Treehouse is a really spacious, no frills layout that maximizes the size of the dance floor, which is really necessary because it's not very big in here. I could tell it was MMW because I didn't even try to go into middle of the crowd, just stuck towards the back where there are seats. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was so damn intense in the back that you're basically signing to freeze your ass. So yeah, I just stood near the speakers. Speaking of, the sound system in here is REALLY intense. It's a great sound system, but man I swear my ears were about to blow out in here. Thank god for my earplugs, which I wisely brought for once. Noticed on my way in and out that this seems to be a location that's frequented by trance DJs that visit Miami. I don't expect to be in Miami anytime soon, but it's good to know for if I ever come back.

Yelp
Had a great time here! I'm not a big club person. I really dislike them actually but I love spots like this. Treehouse isn't like your typical nightclub, it has a different feel to it. The vibe, setting, and music sets this place apart from the rest. I have horrible memories of clubs in downtown Fort Lauderdale and other clubs in Miami and Wynwood playing what seems to be the same mainstream songs each time you go, with horrible and rude staff and drinks that taste like flavored ice water. I really enjoyed the outdoor portion of the establishment with an outdoor bar to take a break from the crowd and converse with your friends and other party goers. This has a more underground vibe to it and doesn't play the typical music you hear just about everywhere else. We came to see Astrix perform his set. 4 of us went and we bought our tickets days prior and entrance to the event was very easy. There was a bouncer up front checking ID's and a very miserable looking woman further down checking tickets. She looked like she really didn't want to be there. Maybe she wanted to be part of the party? At least no one was rude. I usually associate clubs and lounges with bouncers who enjoy altercation and rude staff. Almost every employee I encountered was decent and friendly to me and I appreciate that in a setting like this. Even the bouncer was professional. He encountered an individual continuously walking in without his ticket and maintained professionalism the entire time, ensuring he paid for his ticket and came in the correct way. Everything without violence or getting loud. Very respectable. Give that man a raise! The first room we walked into was more of a deep house vibe with couches lining the wall and people enjoying great music led by the female DJ that night. Don't recall her name but she was playing some SOLID jams. The next room over was where the party was. Astrix was on fire and everyone was having a blast. Music was loud and bass was filthy! Sound was overall perfect. Drinks were a little pricey to me, but then again we are in Miami Beach AND this is a club atmosphere so I guess that's standard. Like I said, I'm not much of a club goer so I'm not up to date on current drink prices at places like this. If I sound cheap, I'm sorry. What we ordered was $15 for a single. They were pretty strong though so I'll take it. I loved this place and will definitely be back, as this is the best place for this type of music I have come to in years. I've been searching for a place like this for so long and wish I came here sooner. Keep up the deep house underground vibes! There are only 1 or 2 other places that I can think of that have music like this playing. Can't wait to bring a group back here soon! Thanks for the great time!

Yelp
I was at treehouse yesterday but had a totally disaster night. I am so disappointed with this new management. There is no ID check and also no security check at all. Inside is full bunch of teenagers who are not even allowed to drink and l think they are selling one bottle of water for $12+tax and tips. This a scam and a big rip off. All the staff are so rude especially bar tenders. I would never recommend you to go there if you don't want to waste your money and time

Joe Z.

Yelp
Went last night with some friends and was scammed by the door person, charged over $100 after saying the cover was $30. Was groped by a middle aged woman on the dance floor to the point that we had to move. After evading the cougar situation I went to the bar to order a water and some shots and the second I asked for a water and- the bartender took my card out of my hand and charged me for the water. I ordered the shots immediately after and received a lot of unnecessary attitude. Witnessed an employee snorting something towards the end of the night, and that about sums up my experience. Would not go back unless I want to scammed or groped.

Joseph L.

Yelp
They DO NOT know how to make drinks!! Asked for a Long Island ice tea but it tasted nothing like it! The drinks were poured in a very small cup with a full cup of ice for $20 bucks per drink. It's definitely a ripoff. Also, this whole club is a sausage fest! There are like 75% guys and 25% girls. This club ain't it!

mhatre p.

Yelp
Only Club in Miami which has PSYTRANCE artists Proper Underground music vibes I love this place !

Mackenzie W.

Yelp
I paid $90 for a ticket the day before the show. When we got there, they said it would be an extra $100 to get in the door because they were at capacity... we paid to go in because all our friends had just made it in before us, without having to pay extra. Later I realized they actually charged me $129. If a venue is at capacity that means let people in when others leave. Not charge $100 in addition to the ticket we bought. Also the venue is dark and boring. So dark you can't even see your friends faces. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND

Rose B.

Yelp
This place is perfect for dancing. Went the weekend after the curfew was lifted but literally would not have known covid existed -- no masks & no social distancing. Luckily, I'm vaccinated so it was a grande time but definitely felt like pre-2020 times

Chloe B.

Yelp
This place is a scam!!!! I have never written a yelp review but I had to warn tourists. I went with friends while on spring break because the reviews are so good. There is only 1 room that is all black. It was poorly ventilated and smelled horrible. The same 2 EDM songs were playing on repeat even though there was a dj standing there. They overcharged my card $15 and when I confronted them they said "oh sorry it's extra fees when you pay with card but I can give you $10 back in cash". They just expect you not to notice. They did it to my friend I was with too. Please save your time and money and don't bother.

Nathan P.

Yelp
Tree house has the dopest of the grooviest music and the coolest hostess Ivy!! Always a good time sweet lasers and drinks

Kenna V.

Yelp
Vibes were horrendous. Alcohol overpriced, bartenders were rude. Wish I went somewhere else, the cover was so expensive for how empty it was.

Ronald C.

Yelp
Real classic place couldn't get past the front door staff don't let your past the door scan you don't wanna say no more you probably can get in. I could manipulate issue is.

Alicia C.

Yelp
Umm... lamest techno/dance on Saturday night.l??? Could have saved $140 on 2 tickets and 2 shots by staying at home and turning on Spotify. I mean I'm all for clubs fees but 2 shots for $45??? (Not Even FULL SHOTSSSSS) Hmmmmmmmmm and again only music I heard that literally sounds like boots/cats sped up I could make that music on my iPhone garage band that sounds better wtf did I pay for?? fucking bull shit experience.

Aldo D.

Yelp
Best place for its music. Dancing all night long. Friday, saturdays the best place. Although on Thursday you can't go wrong neither. Very affordable as well

Ramie P.

Yelp
Incredibly rude female bouncer. Told us it was "$40 for 4" (not $40 each, which she could have said) and ended up charging us $170+ ($160 + fees???). Her attitude was obnoxious, and apparently so many other people have complained about her but surprisingly nobody has given her the feedback.

Emily W.

Yelp
With peace and love, the lady who scans tickets at the front needs to fix her attitude. Terrible start to the night trying to deal with her.

Autumn M.

Yelp
My friends and I went here one night and one of them lost their phone. We were told to come back the follow day to check the lost and found which is exactly what we did. When we got there we were told by the hostess that "they were too busy to check the lost and found" and that "it was NOT important enough for management to take a look for us in the lost and found." Left voicemails too and no one ever called back.

Shayne P.

Yelp
I love Treehouse!! My favorite venue to play in Miami!! The music is always on point!! The staff are courteous and professional. They have 3 areas to enjoy! A small intimate front room that showcase the best in local and International talent. The main room is much larger more focused on bigger shows and lastly an outdoor patio to enjoy the fresh air and grab a drink!!

Emma J.

Yelp
The security guard would not let me in after handing him my ID and gave me no reason tonight. I came with a group of friends and they would not even give us a refund for our tickets. The security guards didn't have scanners which is a fault on management. Why deny someone entry for a "false ID" if you don't even have the means to prove it? This was my first and LAST experience at Treehouse. The security guards were completely unprofessional and would not even answer us when we asked why. They were passive aggressive and rude. They are STEALING from people. I am so sickened to know my group of 8 weren't the only ones to lose their money.

Armando M.

Yelp
"Free entry" before midnight is a scam. They make you wait at the door with the "capacity" excuse until its past midnight in order to charge a cover. Once you pay the overpriced cover to go into this bar where the bathroom facilities have not been updated since the 80's, the bartenders are rude and on their phones throughout the night. At a queer friendly event they misgendered trans folk and forced them to use the bathroom based on the gender on their license. When brought up to management their response was "this isnt a gay club".

Mackenzie G.

Yelp
Great DJ's, strong drinks for $17 a cocktail. Complete downfall of this place was the completely rude attitudes from the front of the house(hostess/bouncers) along with the $60 door fee.

Liz L.

Yelp
Came here for the house music, but legit had to leave within ten minutes because the sound quality was horrific. It hurt my ears. It's a rather small club so blasting the music until the sound gets scratchy and distorted is unnecessary. Enter at your own risk to your eardrums. The outside area is cute with the light decor, but please fix your sound!

Y A.

Yelp
I went here last week, and here's a few things I'd like to highlight from my experience. For those of us who remember Vagabond this is Miami Beach's amateur version of Vagabond. This place is definitely for 20 year olds maybe some cool hipsters but if you're over the age of 32 you're probably not going to like this place. It's located in in a corner next to a gas station so it's very Speakeasy like. The $20 cover is stretching it a little especially since the drinks are quite expensive. What really bothered me about this club was the fact that I asked for water two times and the bartender had told me "you can't ask for water the next time I won't give it to you" do you understand that that's against the law to deny a patron water? In addition to this I spent over $50 on drinks..I'm not trying to be cheap. Do places like this need to exist? I say yes. The music is good and the DJ playing that night was actually really good. This is a great spot for people who just want to go out and dance and have a good time. It's very low key and is modest. However they need to dedicate a little bit more time to make the place look more authentic to the appearance of a treehouse.

The Honest Y.

Yelp
Great spot for great music, drink prices are a little steep but what can you do about it if people continue supporting. I'll be back but probably already drunk next time. I hate to waste 100 dollars on 6 beers.

Jacob A.

Yelp
So I went to this club twice in March once when Brian Kearney was DJing and once when Grum was DJing. Tree house is a nice spot for EDm I especially like how it doesn't get overly crowded and also how there is a mai room and a secondary room. I also like how when the weather is nice the patio outdoor area is open so if you need a bit of fresh air that was nice as well

Ted C.

Yelp
Very fun place to go with friends. Pretty small so can be hard to walk around and talk to people. Great music and sound.

Taylor O.

Yelp
Treehouse is amazing place to be if you are a social person. Defiantly a place to see because it's like an underground club. Amazing music so go if you love to dance. Absolutely loved this place!!!

Liz M.

Yelp
Fun spot to come to for MMW for techno/EDM. Large space. Expensive drinks but it is Miami Beach so can't expect anything less.

Libby L.

Yelp
DJ WAS EPIC. The whole bar itself was pretty small but the HAUS music made up for it. Danced my feet off until 5 am. No regrets

Ben C.

Yelp
From Brooklyn, NY and have been looking for this exact kind of experience. Went to Treehouse this weekend for Infected Mushroom and was blown away! This was probably my 4th or 5th time here. Firstly, the venue is small enough to be intimate but big enough not to be overly packed. I had one of the best times of my life, but my girlfriend lost her phone there. 2 days later I emailed the venue and sure enough not only did they have it, but the general manager worked with me and spent time for us to get the phone back! Really amazing people and experience. Recommend it to anyone who likes house or techno music and is in Miami.

Sergio F.

Yelp
It was fun playing in this Treehouse, even on a cold evening! I met up with some of the rest of the gang last night after the Cafeina event (Well I had coffee drinks too earlier, but at the bookstore :) and am glad I got the invite for opening night. It's only fitting I start with a kudos to the promoters (Tara Ink) since my RSVP and name on the list was handled smoothly; waiting time was minimal. The club is divided into three spaces. The first room looked more like a dancey upscale hunting lodge with netting hanging above the bar and a cool looking wood floor. Bar service was friendly even though all I had was a club soda. There looked to be plenty of couches and the music was what I'll affectionately refer to as "hipster dance". Good acoustics though! Second room was where I spent most of the time along with the great crowd of Michelle & Dom C., Yislin, and Gina. We got to see our very own Maria A. and think even the King of Hialeah stopped by! This space seemed more plush, with the bar in the center and plenty of banquettes along the wall. Music was a neat mix of housey / dancey / top 40. This was my favorite space of the night. What would be more accurately considered "The Treehouse" was the outside loungey space. There was a bar in the center and I don't remember any music. This was neat, as there was actually a place to chat and socialize. I had the honor of running into Rony and Rob D. As the name implies, there were plenty of trees , outdoor banquettes, nooks and crannies. Heck, I found out I heard I missed Tatyana C. in one of those spaces. Certainly a great addition to the SoBe Music Scene. Thank You Yelp for posting this space. I'm looking forward to stopping by again!

Carolina V.

Yelp
Walked in to find a tiny room with the djs playing right in from of me and a looong couch against the wall, intimate vibes are always a good time in my book. Drinks were perfectly priced and they had $12 specials. Around 1:30am the doors into the bigger room opened up and my night got even wilder. There's an opening to the back, where you can go chill outside; the whole setup of this place makes it feel like a genuine underground music party. It was deep n intimate. I LOVED that there wasn't a bathroom lady. you can go in and out of the bathroom as you please and not have someone eyeing you the whole time. A dude (employee, obviously) w a big bag walked in while i was drying my hands yelling "toilet paper, toilet paper!" ...it was surprising and pretty funny, but let me tell you, he brought a buncha toilet paper so at least you dont have to worry about not having any!! 10/10 cant wait to go back!

Sebastian T.

Yelp
Great Venue but poor service. The attitude I was given by the ticket girl ivy was very unpleasant. They need to replace her!

Demetria B.

Yelp
9.00 for a srella 10.00 for entry lots of house dance music. Reminds me of an after hrs but who doesnt love a good after hrs party ;)

Tylor V.

Yelp
Friends and I wanted to try out Miami but we didn't come dressed to impress (i.e shorts/sandals). We saw that they weren't enforcing a dress code, so we decided to go. Around 10-11, the place was a little slower but definitely picked up closer to midnight. Music was great, dance vibes forsure. Drinks were definitely a little overpriced, but to be expected in Miami. If i'm ever back in Miami, I'd make another stop at Treehouse!

Jonah K.

Yelp
We come here quite a bit not only for the great low key venue but also the nice staff. There is lots of room for dancing which is a plus and you can't really get bottle service. There are places to sit and hang out. The drinks are also more reasonable. They get awesome DJs here regularly, but they aren't the big and popular names as much (but that's not who I like!). I will continue to come back here for good low key clubbing. You can wear a t-shirt and sneakers in here, it's completely chill

Haleigh C.

Yelp
I'm on vacation and this was my first time "attempting" to go to Treehouse. Myself and two of my girlfriends were excited to see Gene Farris. We arrived at 11pm. Miami has a 12am curfew which we were well aware of. No problem. There were three people working the door. One girl with a shaved head and two men. The girl asked if we had tickets ( we didn't) and the man, I'm assuming a bouncer, with a star tattoo on the left side of his neck told us each $60 per person. We decided it wasn't worth it to spend $180 total for one hour. I then asked if there was a website where we could purchase tickets. He looked at me with a weird stare and refused to respond to my question. Maybe he didn't hear me?? I asked again. He looked me straight in the eyes, rolled his eyes and turned away. This guy was arrogant and rude. I go to the treehouse website just to see for myself and the tickets were $40. So, this tells me the bouncer himself was unwilling to tell me the website in order to pocket $60. As a lover of house music, being from Detroit myself, this incompetent bouncer ruined any chance of us returning to this establishment. Anyways, we ended up going to Do Not Sit on The Furniture instead and had an AMAZING TIME!

Julia G.

Yelp
Going here was the worst decision my friends ever made. First of all, they were sold out of tickets online, but let us pay $65 at the door to get in. Suspicious that they were desperate enough to let us come in without tickets. The bouncer was extremely creepy and fat-shamed my friend when checking her ID. Then, we walk inside. Not a single mask in sight. Nobody was under the age of 25. There was nobody attractive in the club. Do NOT come here at all, especially if you are in college and hoping for a fun experience with similarly aged people. Trust me, this was not a unique experience. The club doesn't the value safety or happiness of patrons who pay $65 dollars for a terrible night. We left after less than half an hour.
