10 Places to Fall in Love With Fall

"Many children are enthralled by the magic of a tree house, and at Treehouse Point in Fall City, Washington, visitors can indulge in that whimsical fantasy as an adult. Only 20 miles from Seattle, the small eco resort is home to six unique treehouses located near plenty of hiking and winter activities. The first treehouse built on the property, the Temple of the Blue Moon, was designed using lines from the Parthenon. Situated on a lush chunk of land, Treehouse Point feels like a world away from the city. Set in a quintessential Pacific Northwest forest scene, large moss-covered spruce and cedar trees dominate the landscape as the rushing river below provides the soundtrack. The retreat was opened in 2006 by Pete Nelson and his family, whose construction company has built tree houses around the world. The hosts are friendly and informative and offer tours of the structures by appointment. And, if you’re inspired by the trip, Nelson offers workshops on building treehouses." - ATLAS_OBSCURA

My wife and i just had our small wedding here. From the moment we showed up until the moment we left, the staff did nothing but exceed our expectations. Friendly, hospitable, personable. Our room Anada was really nice and cozy. The shower facilities are centrally located on the property and we’re actually much nicer than we expected. We used their recommended organizer, baker, florist, and photographer. All great experiences. I couldn’t recommend this place enough, and we plan to come back every year to try and different tree house every year. Thanks again for an amazing experience

This was a lovely getaway. The treehouse was gorgeous and cozy! The hosts were friendly and hospitable. Breakfast was filling and tasty. The only downside was their proximity to a busy road with traffic sounds louder than expected. Otherwise, highly recommend checking them out!

Met and exceeded all expectations. We stayed in the Ananda treehouse. My husband was turning 40 and wanted something memorable. I surprised him with a stay at THP and it was fantastic from check in to check out. The craftsmanship of the tree house and all the little details that are not forgotten really make this a luxury B&B. The staff seems to genuinely love being part of this magical place and that speaks volumes to me. As soon as you arrive you feel the wonderful energy of this place. The lodge provides books, games, use of a microwave, ice machine, ice buckets, and so much more. The entire property is very clean. Easy access to the river. We packed a picnic and enjoyed lunch by the river. Everything about the stay was relaxing and I highly recommend breakfast in bed and the mimosa add on. Would be a relaxing retreat any time of year. We'll be back! Be warned, you'll want to build a treehouse on your property after staying here though! Thank you for memories THP. 💚

Google
Great staff, clean rooms, and a one of a kind experience. The pictures of the venue are well documented, so I want to share just how amazing the breakfast is. It’s really special!

This was something I’ve been wanting to do for a couple years. So we booked it and that was an easy process. It was so serene and almost like staying in a Disney dream. Staff was so nice. Our only note was we didn’t expect to hear the highway. Would stay again though! Loved unplugging and enjoying our stay with the trees.

Google
Our 5th stay here! Never disappointed! A magical retreat that allows you to reset. It was raining and was still calming and the sound on the roof and the rushing river calms your mind and soul! We will be back in the trees soon!

Where do I even begin? What a hidden gem! It was a much needed getaway with all the amenities while disconnecting from internet, tv and busy everyday life. Enjoy the DELICIOUS breakfast either delivered to your door (option for mimosas) or walk a very short distance to the lodge to eat, lounge, make s’mores at either the indoor or outdoor fire, borrow a book or board game. If you’re feeling adventurous you can walk the trails, visit the nearby waterfall or go snowshoeing. If you want to venture in to nearby towns to try out a local restaurant it’s a short 12-15 min drive. We were surprised how easy and quick it was to get an Uber. Bonus, the shower houses are private with heated floors, towels and all the toiletries you need. The cherry on top is the people are SO nice. If you’re debating on booking just do it. You won’t regret it. Worth every penny. (Side note, it’s a short 30 min from SEA TAC airport.)

Yelp
Had a fabulous stay at TreeHouse Point this past weekend. We had done the tour first which allowed us to learn about the history and background of the compound and choose our favorites: Trillium and Burl. We ended up choosing Burl for our first stay because we loved the fact that it is so close to the river. It was a warm day so we took advantage and got in the river. So refreshing! We loved the outdoor shower and the fact that the entire place feels very private. The tree houses have AC and everything you will need. They are the perfect balance between relaxation, woodsy ambiance and quiet luxury. The craftsmanship is very impressive. You can see why Pete Nelson is the master at building tree houses. Breakfast was great, not your typical boring breakfast. The management is very accomodating and happy to assist with requests. We will definitely be back maybe in the late fall or winter. This is a MUST experience!

Yelp
We stayed here one night last month for my birthday and really enjoyed the unique setting and friendly service we received during our stay. We stayed in Ananda, which was a little less like a tree house than some of the others but was also one of the most private and had a great view of the river. This one also had a small bathroom in it, which was convenient. Our room was very comfortable with a drink and coffee station, sitting room with a view, and the bedroom. The kitchen and guest services were really helpful. They lended us some utensils for snacks in the room, had adorable smores kits and snacks we could take back with us, and the breakfast in the morning was excellent. The breakfast is done by a local chef who comes in and prepares everything herself. She accommodated my gluten allergy, and everything we had was wonderful. Even their whipped cream and syrup were homemade. We really enjoyed our trip and definitely recommend this for a peaceful getaway, and I imagine the weddings they do here are beautiful.

Yelp
You MUST getaway at Treehouse Point. The sound of peace & calm is here. A very dreamy place. Every tree house is unique but nevertheless cozy. It is perfect for anyone wanting to escape the noise of the city. The place was clean with intentional details like books, pen, notebook, balcony seating to a beautiful view. The night the pathways to the tree houses have warm lights that add a special glow up to nature Its far out from the city but close enough to drive to the city.

Yelp
This tourist attraction is famous because of the show Master Treehouse and since I haven't watch any episodes from this show I kinda don't truly understood how all these beautiful treehouses being built. But one thing is for sure, I appreciate every details I've seen when we did the tour. Yes, you heard it right! I was able to have a peek of all the treehouses when bandit and I did the tour. We are just lucky that no one booked the treehouses at that time. The original plan was to book a day or two on one of the tree house but when bandit learned about the tour, we opted the latter. Best decision because we saved a lot of money. Lol. At the time the cheapest one goes for $300+ per night. Not only we saved our wallet but we are able to see all of it and feel it. There are about 15 people on the group tour and everyone of us are really in awe. My favorite one is the newest one that they build. Simply fantastic and cozy. They got regular bathroom as well. A beautiful kitchen and a cozy bedroom. It's good to check out these tree houses. Truly amazing. I highly recommend the group tour. Mahalo for reading and happy juandering fellow yeeps.

Yelp
Wow what an experience!!! We were captivated by this peaceful oasis. Would highly recommend this place and we would love to come back. Staying here was a dream come true for me!!! Preston is a quaint small town that isn't overdeveloped so you are surrounded by the beauty of trees, nature, and waterfalls. The small downtown area is well maintained and adorable with cute shops and restaurants. Kari is the chef and wow can she cook!!!! The baked goods were irresistible and she gave us great recommendations of things to do during our stay. All the staff were phenomenally gracious and generous. Such a magical retreat!!! Thank you!!!!

J M.

Yelp
There was some sort of argument between the staff during our visit. It took away from the peaceful environment that should have been present in such a beautiful place. Prior to our visit, communication was awful.

Yelp
We did not stay in a tree house, but in the Cedar suite in the lodge. It was an incredible room with a king size bed in a cedar fortress for lack of a better term. Tons of natural light, huge soaking tub and stand alone shower. Reminded me of a perfect country farm room. Then you step out on the balcony where you see the beautiful river flowing, hear the birds chirping and smell the trees and fresh air. Saw a pair of beautiful blue Jays as I soaked in the sun. The homemade continental breakfast was delicious. It is the perfect place to reconnect with a significant other, yourself or just spend some time in nature. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I've been dreaming of staying at treehouse point for years. But with a husband who can't predict his schedule, it's been rough to snag a spot. We took a chance a few months ago and booked! It was touch and go until the day before, but we made it! When I say this place is magical, I'm really not kidding. Tucked back in the woods, with ponds, streams and a river. Birds singing everywhere. The greenest trees you've ever seen, and the sun peaking out between the leaves. Sigh. We stayed in Temple of the blue moon and it was the absolute perfect choice. Tucked in the very back, above the river, it's so peaceful. The treehouse itself has a balcony with chairs, two leather chairs inside with a little table perfect for card games, the bed is set up surrounded by windows, and the icing on the cake is the three skylights. It also has a composting toilet. The grounds have three full bathrooms that can be used, and we never had to wait to use one. The kitchen serves the most wonderful breakfasts in the morning(currently to go style) and the staff has the most amazing recommendations on places to eat(like Jaks for steaks! And coconut Thai). It rained while we were there, and it didn't spoil it at all. The skylights made rain watching in bed absolute perfection. Best anniversary getaway we ever could have asked for.

Yelp
I was shocked to see that the ratings on this were not a full 5 stars... As a consistent reviewer, I had to go and see what the less than 5 star ratings were. My husband and I stayed 1/4/21 - 1/6/21 in Trillium. COVID precautions still in full effect here in the PNW, so it was nice to get away, while still feeling protected. It's the beginning of January, and cold. I saw some other review saying this particular treehouse was cold. It was in the downstairs area. However, heat rises, so we were cozy at bedtime. Additionally, we came prepared with onesies and cozy socks. For that, I do not mind. I loved climbing the spiral staircase. I loved the ladder inside to climb to my bed. It was magical. We brought wine and a meat and cheese board to enjoy. Such a great time to disconnect from the world. The property is much smaller than we anticipated! It was mostly rainy and dreary throughout our stay, but it was nice to see all the other beautiful treehouses available. Let's talk about breakfast. First of all, I was sad that I couldn't hang out in the lodge more... Stupid COVID. But the food... Delicious. Not the typical bed and breakfast you would expect at all. More than just muffins and cold cereal. Much more! Kari, the chef, was outstanding. She crafted yummy eggs dishes each morning, some sweet treat, and some delicious yogurt (weird, as it's just yogurt!) The shining point for me? I'm gluten intolerant, not by choice, and she made me gluten free cookies and pastries each more. Additionally, they WERE ACTUALLY DELICIOUS. Sometimes it's really hard to eat GF stuff. The bathrooms were prestine and close to our treehouse. If I had one critique I would say it was a pain to wake up and go at 2:00 AM... But it's glamping so there's that!! All staff wore masks, Kari was wearing gloves. The treehouse was super clean. My husband's favorite part was feeding the fish. It was actually relaxing, and fun to watch them all just jump around. And a dispenser full of free fish food. Delightful! We loved it. It's been a bucket list item for me for years, ever since I first saw Treehouse Masters on TV. I'm a big kid at heart, and I felt exuberant about this staycation.

Yelp
Thank you for a magical wedding experience! Everything was beautiful and everyone was speechless when they saw the venue. We will remember our time at THP for a lifetime and can't wait to come back.

Yelp
If you watch Treehouse Master then you know the quality Pete and his gang of awesome crew pour into their Treehouses. So we really, really, really wanted to book a few nights. Since it's popular all the roomy Treehouses had already been booked. We got the NEST. It's tiny but comfy. Very quiet, no interruptions from phones ( no signal or wifi in the Treehouses) No T.V. or radio. However you can barrow a book from the lodge, which I did and read the entire book in 2 days. They serve breakfast in the Lodge. I had the waffles with bacon and sausage in the waffles. It was delicious. Helpful info. The Nest has a toilet just outside the door the the Treehouse. It was well below freezing so you will want to bring a robe and slippers. We only used it overnight. The two main bathrooms by the pond have heat and are plumbed. The shower is very roomy and they do ask to limit it to 10 minutes. When you spend a few nights you will get a basket in the lodge to replenish towels and it includes tasty pastries. We spend one day exploring Snoqualmie and Snoqualmie falls. It was very foggy at the treehouse area and the falls but sunny and beautiful beyond that. I went to the lower viewing area and was able to view the falls from there. They do require masks in the lodge and proof of negative Covid19 test or vaccine. Staff is very cheerful and helpful.

Yelp
Treehouse Point was more than we could have ever asked for when it came to picking a venue for our wedding. We wanted a wedding in the woods and and beauty and magic that this venue brings is beyond comparison. We had the venue booked for 40 people, both family and friends, with 20 staying overnight in the treehouses. We couldn't have asked for anything more, the natural beauty of the venue makes large expensive flower arrangements entirely unnecessary and it just excelled in all ways when it came to hosting a simple and magically special gathering!

Yelp
I want to keep this place all to myself, but gatekeeping sucks so: We got married here and it was the forest elopement of our dreams. Patricia coordinated our ceremony and mini reception, and she's a rock star. I really appreciated how responsive she was throughout the process and how helpful she was with answering questions as they came up. The homemade breakfasts included with our stay were delicious, and our treehouse was incredible. If you're an anxious bride, this is the most calming, peaceful place to tie the knot. We can't wait to come back for our anniversary next year. Thanks Patricia and Treehouse Point!

Yelp
We stayed at Upper Pond. It was very peaceful and beautiful. Enjoyed the surroundings to include the river. Breakfast was delicious. Only downside was there was no running water in the treehouse. Had to go to the bathroom and shower at the outhouse. Outhouse facility was nice just inconvenient.

Yelp
The website has conflicting information about the newest house, Ananda, so here is a complete description. The original was too large so this has been shortened - see TripAdvisor for the FULL description. Ananda house has three rooms: a bathroom, a living room, and a bedroom. The total size is about 50% larger than a typical hotel room. It has running water, including two sinks and a normal flush toilet. The room comes with a coffee maker, a tea kettle, and a large bottle of water (which I'm pretty sure is bottled tap water, which is pointless for this house). Contrary to literally all the information on the website, it also comes with a small fridge. However it's barely cooler than room temperature (I believe it's a thermoelectric fridge), so I'm not sure how useful it'd be. The website says there's an ice box, but I couldn't find one. The fridge has a loud fan - it's much louder than our fridge at home, despite not having a compressor. I couldn't find any way to turn it off. I'd say it's about as loud as a normal box-fan on 'high'. The living room has a mini-split, which doubles as both the heater and cooler. It worked well, heating the entire house in the morning and cooling it during the day quickly. It's actually slightly quieter than the fridge when running. There's also a (gas??) fireplace-stove in the corner of the living room, but we couldn't figure out how to work it. The living room also has two moderately comfy chairs, with a single reading light. There's enough other lights that both people can read at night. There are plenty of electrical outlets around the house for charging things. We both had cell phone service (Verizon). There are two trees DIRECTLY outside the windows of the bedroom. The only truly bad part of the experience, for me, was the bed. The bed uses a hard memory-foam mattress. Memory foam has a tendency to collapse under enough weight after several months of use. My wife, who normally doesn't like hard beds, thought it was extremely comfy, but since I'm a much larger guy, the foam collapsed for me, leading to EXTREME back pain after the first night. The second night I figured out I could sleep on a pile of pillows, which made it somewhat better, but still not great. This is the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. The treehouses are a LOT closer together than the website makes it seem. The closest treehouse is Burl, about 100 feet away, and the farthest treehouse is probably about 300-400 feet away. However the locations are designed so that you can't see into each others' windows, so privacy isn't an issue as long as you keep the windows closed when you're making lots of noise. The treehouses form a circle around the central bathrooms. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided in the showers. For handicap accessibility, I think only three of the treehouses appeared to be accessible to wheelchairs: Ananda, Burl, and Temple of the Blue Moon. The Ananda toilet had one of those metal bars to support yourself, but the shared bathrooms did not. There was a small bump getting into the showers which looked like it would be annoying, but the shower-heads were the handicap kind that can be picked up and moved around. There's lots of stone pathways so be ready for that. Overall, aside from the bed we both really enjoyed the experience. I highly recommend this as a romantic getaway destination.

Doug O.

Yelp
What an amazing BNB! A bucket list destination that anticipated every need. We stayed in the Ananda and the attention to detail was on point. From communication and any items needed. A must go, staff was amazing and the property with the river backdrop was incredible. Breakfast was first class! So many amazing options and well thought out! A must!

Yelp
Gott-Sung Wedding 8.28.22, Groom's Response to your response: So the dog thing: We were prepared to have the dog caged in our vehicle for the event, looked after by others, only to emerge for the ceremony which was agreed upon. Paige thought that since it was an emotional support animal it should be allowed throughout the venue and offered for it to stay overnight.. The groomsmen: Not sure what they did wrong other than wanting a cider or beer before the ceremony. Please advise. The Arbor: We moved the arbor to a public location and picked it up later. The required tool for disassembly was missing. Thanks for studying the security footage, I'd love a copy! The main issue I had was the morning after: We had a few items of trash laying about the fireplace area. This was the result of shear negligence and enjoying ourselves. We adhere to a strict leave no trace rule, and this was the exception. We were greeted by one individual who seemed to hate her life. She stormed around the breakfast area, pissed off, around 9:50am. She could have spoken to us. She could have asked for us to quickly clean up and leave within the hour. She did not. She did, however, passively hold this precious time window to herself, and then did not ask us to clean the fire pit area. Then, SHE SCREAMED AT MY NEW WIFE and me at 11:35am for still being onsite. Seriously? Are you SERIOUS? You just had to ask us earlier. Not after 11am. If it had not been for her, I would've sped the clean up process. When I'm confronted with angry individuals, I move slower and more diligently. Thanks again for a wonderful event and we would not have wanted it anywhere else. We do recommend the venue. Not the angry individual. And the shower: Rachel and I used the showers around 11:20am, please send us a Fine if necessary and we'll review it with others. Also: The customer paying $15,000+ for a venue is usually right. Departing 1-hour after contractually obliged is within reason, after throwing the party of a lifetime. I'm genuinely concerned for the scheduling team, as they seemed to be frustrated by the overlap of a single-person-tour. Why was that happening within our contractual stay? We do apologize for a grave inconvenience this caused your humble staff. May it never be a concern for you again.. Best wishes for you and your team with the Famous Future ahead of you. Oh yes, and I almost forgot. We could have left at 11:40am or so after being slowed down considerably by the frustrated individual, but loving-Rachel was patronizing your store buying 4 shirts. One of them is a onesie for a future kid. Thanks. and I'm still not over the fact that my original review was masked or somehow deleted. That felt like a Harvey Weinstein maneuver.

Yelp
My daughter and I have been wanting to stay here for years ever since we saw Treehouse Master show. My daughter didn't want to just do the tour. She wants full experience of staying overnight in the tree! We stayed over Thanksgiving break when she is old enough to appreciate the stay (plus price tag). She described the stay as magical. We stayed in Temple of the Blue Moon and surrounded by trees and woke up to the sound of rivers. There are small trails in property that we can walk down to the river and stack some rocks. When it rains, we stayed in the treehouse and enjoyed some games and books. There is not much cell-signal only one bar of service. So the teen cannot be on her phone all the time. But enough to take an edge off so we are not completely cut off. I can plan what to do on eat on my phone via that one bar of service. Sometimes no signal at all, but it is fine. It forced is to disconnect from internet for a bit and enjoy nature. My teenage daughter likes to hike to river at nearby Snoqualmie Falls. We parked at Snoqualmie Lower Falls Parking Lot, walked to see power house, observation deck and hiked down to the river. I like the breakfast & Chai tea latte at Treehouse Point. So yummy! We both agree that staffs are awesome and friendly.

Yelp
Had the most amazing stay here this summer. The only down side is that it can be expensive and booked. We came across a single Saturday that wasn't booked for the Trillium treehouse and I couldn't resist. The treehouse was so clean and adorable. Breakfast was very yummy and the staff was very friendly. I didn't realize how close it was to the highway or how small the grounds were but I didn't even hear the traffic going by. We want to go back to stay at other treehouse soon!

Lisa G.

Yelp
We stayed 4 wonderful nights at Treehouse Point. It was so great. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The treehouse we stayed in was Upper Pond. Good location, quiet and comfortable. It was nice to get out of city stuff to enjoy some peace and quiet. We were close to a lot of fun things and an easy 1/2 hour drive to Seattle. The breakfast was out of this world every day. I would totally go back and do this again.

Yelp
When my husband and I went looking for wedding venues for what turned out to be a gorgeous, happy, hybrid elopement and virtual wedding celebration, we had two criteria: nature and WiFi. Somehow, we found and reached out to TreeHouse Point. From the first email until checking out after our wedding, THP was perfect. (Note: I hate the word/standard of perfect so I try never to use it but...) Regarding the wedding: their staff (shout-out to Bree & Charlotte) was faultless in answering our questions, taking care of every detail, helping us prepare, and they were 1000% supportive with changes that we had to make while planning a wedding in the face of a pandemic. The wedding was beautiful, memorable and fun! We are so happy. You'd think there's nothing better than getting married at TreeHouse Point... until you stay there. Our package included a two-night stay. We awoke looking at the branches of a grand Douglas fir, devoured their world-class breakfasts and savored the magical grounds. None of this review is hyperbole. We highly recommend TreeHouse Point.

Yelp
5/24/21: The grounds, our treehouse (Temple of the Blue Moon), and the amenities (slightly reduced due to COVD) were all great, I've stayed 3 times before and it's probably the most peaceful, serene place I have ever stayed. My favorite is when it's gently raining and you can hear the stream nearby while raindrops patter on the roof. It's always been the best night's sleep I've ever had anywhere.... until this stay. Sadly, while this could have easily been a 5-star review, I was unfortunately jarred awake at 3AM by the in-room alarm clock blaring loudly. Of course, I hadn't set the alarm clock myself so I had no idea how it worked, what button(s) to push or how to shut it off. I even tried to pull the plug out of the back but, as luck would have it, I had no way to do so. I had to turn on the lights to fumble around bleary eyed trying to shut the damned thing off. So, a couple of things: 1) who the F actually uses alarm clocks in rooms anymore, was Fred Flintstone the previous guest?!?! Even my 80-year old mother uses the alarm on her phone. Do us all a favor and remove these outdated contraptions from the room. 2) if you're the guest who for some mysterious reason thinks it's a good idea to actually uses these ancient devices, just don't. 3) for the love of god please have housekeeping disable/turn off any alarm that was set by a previous guest. Regardless of the amazing landscaping, great food, or unique features of any overnight accommodation, the one, basic thing you have to get right is to provide a comfortable place for a full night sleep. As a repeat customer who gladly forked over $500.40 for a one-night stay (yes, you read that correctly) only to be jolted awake at 3AM, I count this as a complete fail. I mentioned this in the morning to the manager and although she was apologetic and asked if I was able to get back to sleep (the answer was no, I was wide awake the rest of the night), and she said that they normally double check these sorts of things but clearly they did not. She ultimately didn't offer any further remedy which was disappointing - perhaps $500 means more to me than it does to them. Maybe you should think about how much it means to you before you book here as well? Update 5/25/21: The property manager, Bree, called me to say she reflected on the situation further and felt that they didn't do enough about the issue during our stay so she's refunding half the cost of our visit. I think that's a great outcome and I think it's awesome she felt compelled to call me with the offer. Excellent job, Treehouse Point!

Yelp
Magical! We loved it and will definitely go back again! Be sure to book well in advance as the weekends get snatched up quickly.

Yelp
My boyfriend brought me to treehouse point for my birthday and it was the most wonderful and relaxing experience. The place is gorgeous! We stayed in the Burl treehouse and enjoyed a view of the river but all of the treehouses have their own individual charm. The grounds are easy to walk through and very well maintained. It snowed the evening we arrived and we woke up to the very gracious staff clearing the pathways. All the facilities are impeccably maintained and the staff are more than accommodating. We had the most delicious breakfast and were treated very well. This place goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I booked this place on a whim. Saw two dates were available mid-week January in the Burl treehouse. I am from So California and have never been to WA before let alone "be in the trees". This was a surprise trip for my girlfriend. Saw the bridge leading to the Burl and knew I would propose on that bridge. Could not have hand-picked a better place. The grounds and the treehouses are heaven on earth. And then the staff, who treated us as family upon our arrival. Bree, Charlotte, Madison, & Kari: Thank you for the love you showed us and the love you have for what you do. It shows that for you this is not a job. Every detail was attended to. Even with details I did not foresee that needed tending to, you tended to as well! I cannot stop remembering and longing to be back. For those reading, she said "Yes".

Yelp
Beautiful scenery, fantastic treehouses, and a delicious breakfast...Just can't beat that!!! To the Trees!!!

Wonderful stay. Great service -- make you feel really at home. Delicious breakfasts cooked by a onsite chef. Beautiful surroundings. Very relaxing. Only 6 or 7 treehouses, so fairly low key. Fish pond, yoga, creek, cozy cabins, nice little towns nearby, hiking, kangaroo petting nearby, fishing, casino nearby, etc. No bugs, which was surprising. There aren't any bathrooms inside the treehouses -- just compost toilets, which are okay in an emergency. All guests (maybe 10) share three full bathrooms (showers, etc.), which seemed janky at first, but it worked out great. The bathrooms are actually really nice. The bathrooms are very close to your treehouse. Be careful which treehouse you choose. Not all are created equal.

Yelp
I don't even know where to begin with all the fantastic things I have to say about Treehouse Point and the amazing staff that runs it. My husband and I got married here in April and our entire group including us were from out of state. What started as a small elopement turned into a destination wedding where we rented the entire property from Sat-Sun. The property is like every forest fairytale you've read about, come to life. As I was getting ready on the big day I was waiting for birds to swoop in and help me with my wedding dress. The property is just breath taking. The staff was amazing. Huge shoutout to Joanna and Bethany for helping me plan sight unseen and making sure everything ran smoothly. The preferred vendors they recommend are also fantastic. When we arrived for the wedding the weather changed all of our logistic plans for the day but the THP team was on it and made everything work with their indoor space like it had been planned like that all along. The treehouses. Oh my god. It's like your childhood fort dreams come true. Every one of the treehouses were stunning and so cozy. We stayed in the Burl which even had a plumbed bathroom upstairs. Waking up the next morning to the sound of raging river was heaven. I only wish we had more time to soak everything in. We're already planning to return later in the year. We can't wait!

Yelp
A memorable experience indeed! The idea is playful and fun; a collection of unique treehouses made for the mature crowd. However, Treehouse Point is much more than just treehouses; the staff pay careful attention to ensuring that the guests have a most relaxing, rejuvenating, and romantic stay. It had snowed prior to our arrival, so there was some residual snow on the grounds. We spent our first night cooking s'mores and drinking wine in front of the fireplace in the lodge, chatting with one of the staff members. Also in the lodge are snacks (that night, we had a peanut butter cookie and trifle.. yum!), the kitchen and public dining area, refrigerator, and games you can either play in the lodge or borrow and enjoy in your room. We arrived in the evening and did not have a good look at the treehouses until the following day. The view of the treehouses in the light was awe-inspiring; the treehouses were absolutely gorgeous. We spent two nights in the Burl, which is the only treehouse with a bathroom. Although it is not the most structurally breathtaking, I loved the fact that the Burl is slightly more isolated and private. Because it was raining, we could distinctly hear the rushing river in the back. More, there are no steps or winding staircase to enter the treehouse, which would have made moving our large suitcases into the treehouse much more difficult. Regarding the safety of the guests and their belongings, the treehouses have a combination lock and the property has an entrance gate requiring a code for entry. Another great aspect of the experience is the complimentary breakfast. We were only one of two couples so there was ample food (self serve), and everything was delicious. The menu that day included Nutella croissants, Mediterranean frittata, made-to-order banana foster pancakes, a dish akin to miniature roast beef sandwich, toast with a variety of toppings, etc. Breakfast heaven! It was arguably the best breakfast I have had in a very, very long time. I cannot recall the name of the very talented chef, but she kindly offered us to make a breakfast to go before we had to leave for our flight the following day. That breakfast was quite tasty as well and held us over until we returned home. Other parts of the experience not to be overlooked are the pond and river, which are both very serene areas. There are also two well-kept restrooms for the treehouse guests equipped with a shower, toilet, sink, blow dryer, in addition to a regular restroom in the lodge. SIDE NOTE: My bf forgot his hat at the treehouse and they kindly mailed it over.. all the way to Hawaii! OVERALL: Unforgettable experience. I enjoyed every aspect of our stay, from the treehouse itself, to the staff, to the food. Highly recommend! Be sure to make a reservation far in advance!!

Yelp
We had been wanting to stay here for awhile and finally were able after we were gifted a stay at our wedding. This place is magical. The treehouses are all so cozy and well put together. You are a 2 minute walk from the river where you can explore and make cairns and they have a fish pond with fish you can feed for free. The staff treats you like you are family and are warm and hospitable. They even went so far as to make my wife who is vegan a vegan brownie for our check in gift waiting for us in our treehouse. When we went to check out breakfast which is included and didn't see a vegan option for her we walked away. A kitchen staff member ran to catch up with us and asked if my wife was the vegan staying here and explained they don't put the dietary restrictions on the menu but had made a special breakfast for her. Such amazing service, and thoughtful people. We will recommend this place to everyone we know.

Yelp
Our one night stay was so pleasant and relaxing it felt like two nights. The experience was wonderful! Our treehouse and the property were very well maintained. The resort is located near a river; I got to stack rocks. I really enjoyed feeding the pond fish and the stand alone central bathrooms were very clean and have heated floors. The staff was pleasant and professional. Their breakfasts were perfect portions and delicious! We absolutely love the place! It was a bit expensive but it was well worth it!

Yelp
Yes it's a beautiful property. Yes they have treehouses that the overnight guests will be able to spend the night in. BUT - Unless you are planning on using their recommended caterer do not use this venue for a wedding. I was told by a representative at the venue that since we were not using their recommended caterer, we would not be able to use the kitchen or anything in the kitchen. Also know in advance that they (and I was told this to my face by the person giving me the 'tour' a week before the wedding) do not want any guests 'wandering around the property looking at the treehouses'. This is why no one is allowed to arrive at the property before 1 pm to set anything up, and NO GUESTS are allowed to arrive until 30 minutes prior to the scheduled wedding time. The reception went from 6 (when dinner was served) to 9:45 (which had to be last call). Barely enough time to have a reception. The venue price was $15,000 and included the use of the treehouses that night. This is straight from the website: "We have designed our wedding packages to be as inclusive as possible, incorporating a variety of complimentary items for which other venues typically charge. We also have a list of preferred vendors to help you create a smooth and stress-free event." I'd really like to know what they provided complimentary that other venues charge for. We were told that since our caterer was not recommended by the venue, our caterer was not allowed to use the kitchen or anything in the kitchen or the large refrigerator that was in the little room inside the "Pond Room" which is where the reception would take place. The wedding cake was perfect when it arrived. It was August 7th, 2021 which was a very humid day. I BEGGED the woman in charge at the venue to let me put the cake in the fridge because it was made with buttercream which will not stand up to heat and humidity. She looked at me and just said 'No'. I explained what was going to happen to the cake if there was no cool place to put it, and she again just said 'No'. Not once did she offer any other way we could keep the cake cool. After sitting in the heat inside the Pond Room and still before ceremony, it started melting. I again pleaded with her while standing in front of the melting cake to PLEASE let me get the cake in the fridge to cool it down, this time in front of quite a few of the wedding guests who were all as appalled as I was that she was saying no. She then said - get this - 'It's as hot as its going to get so it won't get any worse'. At this point the cake was literally melting and all of the crystals were falling off. I had one person designated to just sit there and use paper towels to soak up all the condensation that was happening because of the humid air. It was awful. THIS WOMAN THEN LEFT THE BUILDING AND GOT A PADLOCK. SHE PUT THE LOCK ON THE FRIDGE TO MAKE SURE WE COULD NOT USE IT. There was not enough power for the caterer to plug in all of the warmers needed. All the breakers kept blowing. We tried to find someone to help us but no one would. Also as a side note to anyone still considering the venue - they were very uncommunicative during the months prior to the wedding. 3 of us emailed them multiple times with no response. Try to get someone on the phone... not happening! Today I received a call from the general manager of the venue after she received the email I sent regarding especially the cake. She honestly did not seem to care, had excuse after excuse of why we could not use their fridge and not once did she even try to apologize for her employee's rudeness and uncaring attitude towards us. Oh - and I was the mother of the Groom.

Yelp
While it seems almost sacrilegious to rate a lodge composed mainly (but not exclusively) of treehouses as anything less than five stars, this is one that does. We have stayed at Treehouse Point twice, first in Temple of the Blue Moon and secondly at Trillium. Temple is a fantastically great treehouse; it's the one that everyone wants to stay in, and for good reason. You access the treehouse via a suspended bridge. The treehouse is cantilevered over a ravine. This gives you a treehouse feeling without having to climb up and down. Access is lateral. Temple is cozy and it feels very private. We had nothing but a great experience there. Trillium is great: two stories with huge windows that allow plenty of light to stream in. It's fun, too, climbing the ladder to the upper level. Between Temple and Trillium, I preferred the layout and lighting of Trillium. But our experience was marred by the extremely cold temperature in the treehouse. When we arrived in the afternoon, the treehouse was dead-cold. Trillium's heat is so inadequate that it ran for hours and hours. After two hours, we go to dinner in Fall City. Back again: temperature has raised by only a few degrees. Around 9 pm, the treehouse was warm enough. This truly marred our experience, since we spent most of the time under the covers in bed. We wondered why, if they knew that guests would be staying in Trillium, they didn't turn on the heat ahead of time? Some forethought could have prevented all of this. The lodge is a friendly place to saunter into at night. Relaxing by the fire is fun and very cozy. Great breakfast!

Yelp
Doesn't let you re-schedule or refund tours. It's snowing today, we are sick, and still we cannot re-schedule the date of our tour. That's $84 wasted. I don't understand how allowing us to come for our tour on another day would be bad for their business. I was hoping to enjoy the tour and then find a time to stay there, now I won't have the chance to visit!

Yelp
I surprised my wife with a stay at Treehouse Point for her 30th birthday. We stayed in the "Nest" which is the smallest of the treehouses. What it lacked in size it more than made up for in charm. Better than the treehouses were the people. Charlotte greeted us upon arrival. She was exactly what I would have expected in the best of ways. Breakfast in the lodge provided great food and the chance to converse with other guests. Overall, we had a wonderful time.

Yelp
We stayed here for my birthday. It's beautiful and so peaceful. They really do think of everything. And the breakfast and coffee are delicious.

Yelp
The most amazing place we have ever stayed. My husband and I celebrated our first anniversary at Treehouse Point in November. Some of our friends live in the Seattle area and highly recommended it. We didn't even realize that it was so popular and had never seen the TV show about Pete and his crew. The reservation process was simple. I made sure to set a calendar reminder for 2PM PT 60 days ahead of the date that we wanted to go (the earliest you can book for a weekend date) to make sure that we got our #1 choice (Temple of the Blue Moon) for two nights. They charge half of the cost at the time of booking and the other half before you get there. The staff was incredible! Sarah, Bree, and Sharon were fantastic hostesses - available for any question we had and great conversationalists. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcome, with Sarah even knowing our names and that we were celebrating our anniversary. We loved all the little extras... chocolates in the room, cookies and hot chocolate in the evening, and all the entertainment options in the lodge (books, games, puzzles... even a ukulele). We stayed in Temple of the Blue Moon (the first cabin constructed) and it was perfect... The size was decent, there was a nice small deck, a rope bridge, and you could hear the river flowing right outside your window (even with the windows closed). You definitely felt one with nature and that you were staying in a tree house, especially with the rope bridge and privacy that it offered. Temple does not have a bathroom, however, it did have a composting toilet just on the other side of the entrance for late night "emergencies." The bathhouses were beautiful and modern and were about 50 steps away. They were rarely used and the only time we had to wait was at checkout on Sunday morning. Breakfast included a variety of vegetable egg dishes, pastries, fruit, yogurt, and tasty homemade granola. The only thing we would have liked to see that could be improved was offering a meat option with breakfast. There were gluten free and vegan options, but no meat. We hope to be back again soon to try out another one of their tree houses.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed here last night for our 5th wedding anniversary. We stayed in "The Burl". It was absolutely gorgeous. The treehouse's are amazing! There is so much attention to detail and love put into these treehouse works of art. The staff is extremely friendly. We were greeted the second we stepped out of the car by Riley and given a tour. She was lovely. There are books and games to use in the lodge. There are also s'more kits to make s'mores by the lodge fireplace or you can make them at the outdoor fire pit. They provide cookies and tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the lodge and in the treehouse's. This was an absolutely peaceful night at Treehouse Point. The bed was very comfortable and we could hear the water from the river while we slept. We can't wait to go back and try all the other treehouse's they have available.

Yelp
We stayed in the Burl for two nights and I think that is the BEST treehouse if you're visiting as a couple. It has the only bathroom (sink and toilet) of all the treehouses. Temple of the Moon would also be a good option, but we felt the comfy loft of the Burl made it more treehouse-like. The price is pretty steep for a two night stay. Our total price was $752. I've stayed at luxury 5 star hotels around the world for much less. If you go in expecting pure luxury (because of the price) I think you would be disappointed. Luxury B&B and hotels would have much a better breakfast selection (more gourmet) with table settings and will serve you drinks. None of that here. Think of this as upscale camping/glamping with a one-of-a-kind experience and your expectations will be better placed. It comes down to supply and demand. I looked at other treehouses and Treehouse point seems to be the best and nicest out there open to the public. They are so popular, so you pay a premium to get to stay there. It was a completely unique experience, so it was totally worth it for me. We were lucky that a spot opened up on our anniversary date too. We watched the episode which featured the "Burl" being built after staying there and it was neat to watch. There is nothing to do in Fall City, and the food choices are pretty dismal in the area. The shower facilities are nice and updated and they keep the place pretty clean.

Yelp
For a much-needed getaway, I highly recommend TreeHouse Point. My wife and I recently stayed in "Nest" and it was just what we needed. The room was cozy, the surrounding woods were gorgeous and peaceful, and the amenities added to the atmosphere. Breakfast in the lodge was phenomenal each morning. The bathhouse was clean private. And being able to start a fire in the fire pit in the evening and use the s'mores kit was a great bonus. Sitting in the firelight and soaking in the serenity was a great way to cap the stay.

Yelp
I could not say enough about Treehouse Point, the staff, the food, the Burl, the grounds, the sights, the sounds, the smells, and the MAGIC!! Our stay was on my bucket list and met every idea I had about staying in a tree house. I can't wait to return again someday! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! It was PERFECT in every way! My husband says staying in the a treehouse with a working toilet and sink is a must! :)

Yelp
I think it's important to distinguish the two types of reviews presented for this facility. First there is the B&B component which involves renting out one of the five tree houses to stay the night. The other option is to take one of the daily tours which kick off around 11.30am each day. This review pertains to the latter. My wife enjoyed the tour more than I did it is fair to say. My issues were mostly to do with the logistics. In simple terms I felt the 90 minute tour could have been done just as easily in 30 to 45 mins if they adopted smaller groups. The day we visited, there were about 50 people altogether. Splitting into just two groups with one tour guide each means there is a whole bunch of shuffling around and waiting for others to get in and out of the different tree houses - most of the houses allowed only four or five people to be in them at once. The experience got tired very quickly for me. On the positive side though, the staff are incredibly friendly and extremely keen to make sure you have the best time possible. Damon in particular is a great guy and perfect host, though sadly we were told he will shortly be moving to NY. I am familiar with the reality TV show this facility pertains to and that certainly enhanced the experience overall. It isn't necessarily a pre-requisite though as the wonderful tree houses speak for themselves. Despite what I would call an average experience with the tour, if I was in the area again and an opportunity presented itself to stay in one of the tree houses as part of their B&B packages (minimum two night stay I believe), I would do it in a heartbeat. Best of luck to Damon in his new venture. He is a super guy and perfectly suited for a position involving interaction with the public.

Yelp
This place was better than we imagined for our elopement and stay after! It was super romantic, relaxing, and unique! Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. Also our elopement was stress free because they have packages that can take care of everything for you. No animals or kids are allowed. It was the PERFECT place for our big day together and we wouldn't have it any other way. The bathrooms and showers were amazing, the lodge was a great place to hang out and play a game, the breakfast was freshly cooked and honored dietary restrictions Looking forward to returning! Yelp
Very beautiful Bed and Breakfast, and such a great location. Cozy venue for a wedding (Baker-Reynolds wedding) and such amazing patient and friendly staff. I would love to stay here again if ever in the state again.

Yelp
We just arrived home after staying two nights in Temple of the Moon treehouse. So many wonderful things to say. Suspended in a treehouse in the stillness of the trees, listening to the river, surrounded by Mother Nature was one of those experiences you can't put into words but is just magical. My husband and I played cards, drank wine, enjoyed wonderful local food, ate fresh, beautiful breakfasts made daily by house chef, Kari , visited local wineries and even got to kiss a real kangaroo. We will be back. Yearly.

Yelp
I have yet to stay here (it's quite expensive) but my husband and I got to tour the place and it was absolutely magical! Each tree house was better then the last. The entire feeling of the place was like a fairy tale. It was hands down one of our best experiences on our trip to Seattle. I love it here so much I would move to the area just to beg for a job at this place--that's how amazing it is!

Yelp
Treehouse Point, let us count the ways we love thee... #1: We could wander for hours on your winding paths leading to magical treehouse treasures around every corner #2: Your trickling river filled with cairn paloozas yield a relaxing environment to momentarily take away all our life's troubles #3: The fresh smell of cedar that overwhelmed our senses when we first opened our treehouse door, that memory still lingers in our minds! #4: The attention you paid to details from greeting us warmly on arrival, to staying up late visiting through the evening (literally till midnight), and pleasantly entertaining us at breakfast (Damon is a delight and deserves a raise) #5: The fire and s'more kits you provide to end the evening just right surrounded by starlight and taking us back to childhood memories #6: There is a calmness you provide at night with the rustling trees and bubbling river. In addition, the light swaying and creaking you send with the wind gusts soothed us to sleep like a baby #7: The detail you took to build an Indiana Jones bridge to lead up to our treehouse wins you total coolness points My husband and I have traveled to many locations over the last 11 years. Treehouse Point is by far the most unique and memorable. We didn't want the magic to end. We're officially addicted and want to start a collection of Treehouse Trading cards where we go back and stay in a new treehouse every time. Temple of the Blue Moon was our first, and The Burl and Trillium are next on our list. Thanks to all the staff for a serendipity experience (and thanks to Judy for letting us take a pic with you). We are big fans and will be back again and again!

Yelp
We stayed in the Temple Of The Blue Moon for our 4 year anniversary and it was an incredible experience. We loved every thing about this place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast, it's a must and the treehouse it self was amazing, very cozy and peaceful especially with the window cracked open. We hope to return and try another Treehouses. Highly recommended this place you won't be disappointed. Especially if you like the outdoors and the sounds of nature. Note: Showers and bathrooms are private.

Yelp
Treehouse point is a magical, fairylike place in the forest situated next to a raging river 22 miles North of Seattle. This unique bed and breakfast is home to about six of the famous tree houses Peter Nelson has built and designed as featured on his show treehouse masters on animal planet. There is a main lodge with one beautiful upstairs room, the Cedar room, where we stayed. It is The only room available with a full bath. We were able to tour the tree houses and I will admit it would be an adventure to stay in them for one night but most likely that would be enough since only One of them has a flush toilet. The others have a compost toilet for emergencies however there are two absolutely gorgeous, spacious and spa like communal bath houses with spotless amenities. There is also a private outdoor shower if you choose to shower outside with sunlight filtering through the trees. The grounds are immaculate, you are given flashlights to make your way through the fairy like forest at night or you can sit around the campfire you build and cook s'mores. The whole experience is sort of like "Glamping". The breakfast which is served in the main lodge in the morning is delicious and plentiful. Everything is homemade. Afternoon snacks and home-baked goods are available with coffee , tea , juices and small ice chests are provided for you to take to your room. There are several restaurants nearby, but I suggest you bring your own food in and enjoy all the ambience treehouse point has to offer. The staff here are incredible, Damon, the manager, will assure all of your needs are met! Yoga & massage is also available for an extra fee in the pond room and will enhance your experience in this Zen like place. There are many places nearby to hike, run, or bike in this gorgeous part of the state. This special place provides a respite from our busy lives.... Bring a good book , turn off your cell phone, take a nap in the trees!
