"A Texas Hill Country destination of four luxury tree houses built into ancient bald cypress trees overlooking the Sabinal River, each designed for up to two guests with en suite bathrooms and air-conditioning; standout units include Chapelle, which features French antiques, stained glass, and a dramatic 25-foot steeple." - Ann Abel
We went to Utopia TX to see the Annular Eclipse and stayed in the La Biblioteque Treehouse. It was magical and heaven and we didn't want to leave. It was so quiet you could hear the frogs at night. We saw deer in the mornings and evenings walking and prancing through the property to the river. Cori was very responsive and thoughtful and helped to make the stay very enjoyable. We made a new friend. The breakfast was delicious. As it was during the eclipse they weren't sure what the traffic would be like so Cori called to talk with us recommending that we come in with a tank full of gas incase the roads were full of people there to see the eclipse. Turned out this wasn't an issue. We saw the ring of fire and had a great lunch at the Lost Maple Leaf cafe. The layout of the treehouse with the reading nook was just amazing and it felt very spacious. The lights on the branches over the bed were magical and everything was absolutely perfect. . The details were wonderful to behold. We highly recommend this treehouse and stay. It was 5 star luxury.

A stay at Treehouse Utopia is a very different experience and one that my wife and I enjoyed tremendously. We spent two nights in The Chateau. There's plenty of information about these treehouses on the website so I won't go on about descriptions. Just to say that the information on the website is quite accurate. The enormous cypress trees are just spectacular and you will be amazed at how well these houses are constructed. The location is very private and no one can access the property without proper instruction so don't worry about being be bothered. The breakfast was fresh, the house was clean and the property well maintained. We were also blessed with fantastic weather. This trip was well worth the cost and we are considering another stay. Just a wonderful private getaway.

A wonderful getaway nestled in the best nature Texas has to offer. Right on the Sabinal, and close to Lost Maples you couldn’t ask for more. Their hospitality was excellent, and everything had a personal touch. Will come back again, and make a home away from home!

You have to see these! Wonderful (on site at restaurant) muffins, yogurt, coffee, OJ etc. left in small fridge for the morning. Deer mornings and evenings, Comal River, stars,……. Just wonderful. Treehouse is top end construction, amenities, bed are comfy.. you gotta go!

Atmospheric, romantic, quiet, nature- filled weekend at an incredibly well-appointed and comfy place. We loved every little touch in Biblioteque, could have stayed entertained for a week with all the unique books and curios. Fireplace made a cold day feel like heaven, breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Heartily recommended - spoil yourself!

I took my partner here on their birthday for 2 days in Feb this year and stayed in Chapelle treehouse. This place has been the best place we have both visited by far. There is a beautiful clear emerald lake, tall majestic trees all around and deers prancing around in the morning and evening. The other treehouses are far off and each of them has privacy. There is Wifi, AC/heater and a lot of luxury. The team was great with their communication, special requests and service. I recommend this 100%

One of the best glamping experiences in Texas. River is pristine, the treehouses perfectly suited for a weekend get away, and the staff is incredibly nice and attentive. This was our second stay and find it GLBT kind.
