Google
A hidden gem. This is Coldwater Canyon park managed by the nonprofit called Tree People. It’s wonderful. Extremely well-maintained with wide trailers that are well marked and plenty of benches to rest on.

Google
Great spot for a hike and a view. Watch for rattlers, but definitely a special place. Bring your pup but please clean up. Tree people are the best people!

Google
A beautiful place in the middle of bustling cities to take a break from all the busyness for self care, nature therapy or meditation. This location offers free parking and clean restrooms, and facilities for meetings or events. For more details, check their website.

TreePeople is an awesome place to hike to or through! I love its mission and I’m grateful to Andy, for having the vision and the drive to make it the success it has become.

Google
One of my favorite local Hike, it has multiple entrances, you can access from Freeman & laurel canyon or from Mulholland & Cold Water Canyon... the hike ain't too long but there some other trails around. It has some shade a ND trees.

Google
Great park. It is small and has a small parking lot, and although it is only five miles from the famous Hollywood sign, there are not many people in it even on Sunday, which is very important for me - a person who loves tranquility. At the same time, there are hiking trails, I walked along them only a little and I think that they are very short, but the very fact of their presence is also a plus for this wonderful park.

Google
We come here for walks just about every day. I love how clean the park is keep. I also love the numerous trails and difficulty levels. It’s nice to come here at any time of the day because some of the trails are very shaded. I also love the amount of seating/picnic areas this park offers.

Google
I Didn't know this place existed I was driving down Mulholland drive and came across it. "The good news is that we all can play a role in planting and caring for trees, restoring healthy soil,  conserving water, and harvesting the rain." Quoted by Tree People Its very relaxing. I saw people walking their dogs on the trails. I love that they are planting little trees around and in greenhouse. I didn't get the chance to see everything I will bring my family back and visit again.

Yelp
great hiking spot in LA. easy trails to start and a little more difficult the further you go, with fantastic views. there are people that live here and take care of the grounds, hence the name. they also have a nursery at the entrance. perfect LA hiking destination!

Yelp
Trees need people, people need trees. I love this ... My second time coming here with my son. This time my husband joined us as well. First we walked all around the area checking out all the trees that were recently planted. Then we went further for a short hike. This place is amazing. Tree people as an organization inspires and supports the neighborhoods to come together and plant and care for trees. They work with educators and students to train the next generation of eco-conscious leaders. There are many volunteer opportunities here and my next step is to get involved and support this amazing cause. Would love to volunteer a few times a year to make a difference in our neighborhoods.

Yelp
Beautiful park but not accessible from Mulholland and Laurel Canyon today - roads closed on Mulholland. Disappointed bc it's a favorite park.

Yelp
"Trees need people. People need trees." That's their mantra. TreePeople is my go to hiking spot. There are a few different paths but none are life shattering, they're all pretty chill. And of course beautiful views looking out from the Santa Monica Mountains over Coldwater Canyon. A couple of special things about TreePeople - ~They keep the space clean and managed by an amazing volunteer group. Sometimes you'll see them running programs for children or other times just tackling cleaning the area or tending to things in the greenhouse. ~They have a fancy schmancy vending machine with fun drinks (not pop!) but it's broken half the time I try to use it, lol. ~"TreePeople owns, manages, and conserves is on the ancestral lands of the Tongva, Chumash, and Tataviam people, the original stewards of this land." That's a direct quote from their website. Keep in mind - ~Small parking lot but I haven't had an issue ever getting a spot. Sometimes it's the last spot in the lot though! ~open daily from 630am until dusk ~dogs are allowed on the paths ~Trail maps found here: https://www.treepeople.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/treepeople-map-2021-web.pdf

Yelp
We did a tour with them and it was really fun and educational. Great LA hidden gem that felt unique.

Yelp
My daughter had a great time! They gave her a plant to take home. It's located on Mulholland drive. They had the opportunity to learn more about trees. Too bad they didn't see any animals (snakes and bugs). Beautiful location!

Yelp
TreePeople has such great programs, neighborhood and environment oriented-- you can learn a lot about where you live in Los Angeles. You can learn about trees, environmental concepts or basics on growing trees - conservation- saving water. There are also programs to donate funds to buy trees to honor a special someone. You can send a certificate "in memory" of a friend; this is so meaningful. It's a gift of Life to honor someone. We do this in our family. You can tour the facility. There are placards offering good information. Perfect for kids and families. This year I donated $$$ for the first time - I'd always meant to- but the fires in LA compelled me to "Do Something". This is a fantastic organization, well worth getting involved.

Yelp
I love Tree People, first as an organization, growing trees, plants, and helping communities get greener and thrive. Preservation is part of their work as well and many volunteers do amazing work to spread the word and the greenery through our city that needs trees and green spaces more and more. They are located at Coldwater Canyon, there's a parking lot and their cool center and gardens near by. I like to hike up to it via Fryman Canyon and stop at Tree People for a break in the action. Take up the nice views from up there, check out what they are up to, what plants they're growing. They also have nice restrooms and great picnic areas. We used the benches and the nice shady picnic tables for a snack, a picnic, enjoyed reading a book while relaxing, watching the birds, away from noise and it all. There are plants, flowers around and cute trails. There's also a small outdoor amphitheater where they have some shows in the summer. Unfortunately, right now Tree People is closed temporarily because of COVID-19. It was sad to see it closed, but I hope they'll re-open it when they'll think it's safe. It's a peaceful place in LA, up on top, with nature around and incredible views. Great work, beautiful place!

Yelp
Horrible women's hike led by white woman who could not have embodied more the deeply privileged pilates lulu lemon outfit by appropriating indigenous and southeast asian cultures and yoga practices that couldn't get enough of the sound of her own voice. Trails beautiful, was advertised as a hike but it was 30 minutes of a hike and 2 hours of her & other women talking. Go if you enjoy that! Had to leave early. Disappointing!
google avatar

Monica R.

Yelp
Nice park to enjoy in the morning with your dog, walking trails and, seat to relax and enjoy the view. They have a parking lot. Also, they have tables for picnics. You don't feel you are in the middle of the city.

Yelp
It was awesome to work with these people today as their goal is for the betterment of the neighborhood. They work with cities and other groups to plant trees around the area. Today I had the opportunity to work with them and the Laker organization to plant 31 trees at Raul R. Perez Memorial Park. They provided all the tools and of course the trees to be planted in the park. They gave a presentation on how to properly plant a tree in the ground. Trees were placed throughout the park and they had volunteers checking on us throughout the entire process. They plant fresh trees three days a week on any normal day and if your in need of some trees in your local park contact them and they will work with your city to get trees planted. Also they have a program to help you with seedlings for fruit trees.

Yelp
I love visiting tree people. The hike is nice from the trail head here and there are bathrooms. The organization seems great! I also like the educational areas located here.

Yelp
Definitely a really nice place to hike. I never have an issue with parking being that they have their main parking and also parking across the street , it's never overly crowded, and they have really nice scenery not to mention the grass is amazingly green lol . I also went on a night hike here and the view of the valley was beautiful. They also have a really cool vending machine that has water ,snacks and ginger shots!! It's a little pricey in my opinion but hey ..and it takes card so don't worry . Overall would definitely recommend.

Yelp
So thrilled that this park is open again post-pandemic. It is magnificent there, impossible to believe its in the city! The hiking trails are in beautiful condition, the staff is always hard working and friendly..its quite heavenly. Los Angeles is so lucky to have TREEPEOPLE

Yelp
"Let's go to Tree People!" is obviously a sentence which due to its grammatical incorrectness, would leave many people (including myself) a bit baffled. Are Tree People a group of tree-hugging, granola-eating, hippies singing kumba-ya? Is it a village of statues in the form of people made out of tree bark? It's sort of all of those, in a way. Okay, not really about the people statues. Tree People is a non-profit organization with its headquarters located at the top of a peak in Coldwater Canyon Park. It resides at the homebase of the old Mountain Patrol station #1 of the LA Fire department in the 1920s. Meaning, they were the rangers on horses whom kept an eye out for forest and wild fires. Smokey the Bear's best friends, if you will. Today, Tree People is an organization which hosts school field trips (the kiddos get to plant trees and learn about sustainability and geology), plays at the amphitheater, and even weddings and events in their community center/hall. While at Tree People, you will encounter a beautifully maintained nature center with several hiking paths (you almost don't know where to begin!) which extend into Coldwater Canyon Park and small exhibits explaining tree planting, a small depiction of a road and storm drains leading to the ocean, and home money-saving and earth-saving sustainability ideas. Such as: connecting your rain gutters to a barrel to save water during our rainy weeks and then a hose to the barrel to water those plants in the summer. What a great idea! Immediately my boyfriend excitedly yelled, "Let's do this when we have a house!". Some of the hiking paths also have small learning outposts where kids can learn about various rock formations and rock layers form. Basically, Tree People has provided a family-oriented hiking center which is good for both the learning brain and the physical self. PLEASE TAKE NOTE: Tree People is merely the nonprofit organization and the community center at the top of the peak. The hiking trails and other areas mentioned in the other reviews are falsely in this listing when they should be in the Coldwater Canyon Park listing. Hippies or tree statues, Tree People is a wonderful organization and a great place for adults and children alike to begin or end an afternoon's hike. Plus, it is free! That's always welcome!

Yelp
I love Tree people! I love their mission and fully endorse what they do!! We plant honor and memorial trees for friends family and loved ones. The Property on Cold Water canyon is not to be missed! The hiking trails there are an awesome example of natural Los Angeles.

Yelp
Can't say enough good things about this organization and all it is doing to help our city and planet. It was started by a 15-year-old kid back in 1970 and since then has planted/cared for over two million trees. They also host more than a dozen events per month at their headquarters in Coldwater Canyon Park and other sites throughout the city. Things like street planting, dog hikes, native plant tours and water conservation workshops. To see what's available register/log in on their website, scroll down and click on the link Events Calendar. Especially recommended is their monthly Moonlight Hike, which I did last week with my sister and nephew who were visiting from out of town. There is something mysterious and wonderful about climbing a mountain in total darkness, with nothing but the beam of your flashlight. You'll meet great people, learn a few things about conservation and wild plants, and as you near the top you'll see stunning panoramas of our city's glittering lights -- first Hollywood, then the Valley. And you really do get to howl at the moon, just like they say.

Yelp
Love this place every season. Parking is super easy and convenient. The view is Incredible, people walking around seem to always be in a good mood which is how I m feeling as soon as I start my hike. The entire hike takes about an hour if walking, toward the last 15 to 20 min is when it starts to get rigorous. Enjoy one of the best secret of LA!

Yelp
The Tree People park is more than a park - it's a relaxation adventure. The Tree People Park a great place to reconnect with nature: whether it be a picturesque stroll in the woods with the family or some "me time" devoted to a reading a book on a bench amongst the trees. Overall, highly recommend!

Yelp
This phone # reaches a hotel rather than Tree People. Would be terrific if they would update the phone Number!

Yelp
I have been coming to this park for about 8 years off and on. I love this park. beautiful views and pet friendly. It's a true oasis for the person who loves all things nature and wants a green earth with lush trees and clean air. I especially like that they have lessons on how to be green! Don't trash it up, instead taking it in, take a deep breath and enjoy mother nature and all of its beauty!

B W.

Yelp
This is a good stop if you are looking to walk around in nature. Not the type of place for a picnic, more dry trails. But I do need to comment on the parking lot. It's is FULL of speed bumps. I mean an extreme amount! I suffered a head injury in my youth, and the 8 bumps just to park hurt me too bad to drive into this location. Please! I understand safety and the need for speed bumps, but this is INSANE!!!!!

Yelp
I missed my call time and instead of driving back home I found this hidden gem. I was able to hike a little bit, find a secluded area, and study some specifics for my new job. The fog rolled in and it was time to wrap it up. 10/10 would do it again. Maybe with a nice sandwich, juice, a blanket, and my pack of "studying" highlighters.

Yelp
Great educational, nature spot. Who knew??? Hiking trails, how to conserve water, how to grow trees from seeds, etc.... It's all here. Great staff and plenty of free parking. Thanks for having our class here.
google avatar

E J.

Yelp
The staff here seems overzealous and rude on parking. I guess that's why they call this place "TreePeople," as the seem to care more about trees than people. It is currently CLOSED due to COVID-19...both the parking and the conference center. It looks over rated. Also, there seems to be a high fire danger around this place. LA County Fire parks in here to watch for fires. I won't come back.

Yelp
This is LA so I changed the name to Tree Peeps. Have your tree peeps call my tree peeps......heh..... Man this place is fabulous. I breezed in to take a few quick photos & ended up staying so long I got sunburned. The exhibits, http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/Zg1tPjBgE1G8gfpulkzzKQ?select=vNr10rjA6Kfe8f0VQIxTqQ the views, http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/Zg1tPjBgE1G8gfpulkzzKQ?select=J1lRngGivLN0csowS_pZIQ the trails, http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/Zg1tPjBgE1G8gfpulkzzKQ?select=YxKhFVn1eFsWo2zXfcZ_ug the community building.....http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/Zg1tPjBgE1G8gfpulkzzKQ?select=qMLiQrGlMlPqR9eeLJsA4w In the community center, or whatever they call it, a private par-tay was in progress. Had I been dressed in something other than hiking attire, I might have crashed it cuz I was starved. But instead, I wandered around and explored the grounds & looked at the exhibits. Including one I liked a lot, that demonstrated how water runoff reaches the ocean. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/Zg1tPjBgE1G8gfpulkzzKQ?select=O4xaiVDiaXlvQoUcqwX6iw Go see for yourself. And bring the kids. There is much to learn & appreciate here. TreePeople is an important, as well as an impressive place. Keep up the great work, I say.

Yelp
3 stars for hiking trail distances - 5 stars for the well maintained and pleasant looking grounds lands TreePeople 4 stars! Oh my! After reading several of the reviews for TreePeople, I am SO glad we did not run into a bunch of snakes or even a single snake for that matter today. Regardless of how much I adore hiking I would have been Petrified!!! Thank goodness I was with the one person who I want to be all over but I would have jumped on him faster than he'd know what to do with. I am surely going to be on the lookout when venturing on these trails in the future. One thing to know about these trails are they are extremely short! I say short because I'm the type of person who can hike for HOURS upon HOURS and cover many many miles. These trails (aside from the reviewed snake sightings) I believe are best for small children, heck toddlers even. Perhaps, I'm a pretty active person but I view these trails as extremely moderate and very short. I see this being a perfect place for the little ones - while still nice for active adults but nowhere near strenuous by any stretch of the imagination. I have always had a "one trail" mind when it comes to hiking in this area - I usually will hike Fryman Cyn (Wilacre Park) but have only ever ventured onto the TreePeople premises once or twice to poke around and never really thought there were many trails to follow. I usually choose this hike for a quick little something in the area. Today, however we explored a bunch more which was great since Fryman is pretty much over soon after it starts - adding in the beautiful well maintained trails of TreePeople can really add a little extra to your stroll. We did notice, there are tons of fountains and benches for sitting - this all adds to the beauty of the grounds but seriously who is hiking up here that needs all this water and all these rest stops - a 90 year old with an oxygen tank in a depends diaper...??? I know they host several field trips for elementary schools as my son has been here a couple times and really enjoyed himself and felt the staff were fun, friendly and informative - perhaps all the benches and fountains are for the kiddies on field trips - I'm really not sure. Some of the trails near the Coldwater Cyn side of TreePeople are so close to the street that you still hear and see the traffic so you don't feel the same sense of relaxation as inland trails. It's a beautiful little spot in the mountain. The small outdoor amphitheater is also lovely and I can't wait to check out their moonlight hikes (fingers crossed they are snake free) http://www.treepeople.org/moonlighthikes Now - for fun, let's count the number of times I wrote "trails" in the above review ;)

Vanessa C.

Yelp
What a great and easy hike! It's well maintained and has very pretty views. It's ideal to meet friends from LA and the valley to hike here since it's off of Coldwater and Mulholland. There are lots of LEASHED dogs (some people also were not following the rules though) and kids. Great for the whole family although you might want to make sure you bring either a stroller or Ergo since it isn't ideal for kids who tire easily. Our dogs didn't do so well with it since they are tiny and not built for this long of a walk. Parking can be a bit of a pain though.

Yelp
How could anyone not fall in love with this place? Are you a volunteer, a botanist or a tree hugger? Whatever the case may be, you will love this place if you'd like nature. Tree peeps is a gem! So yeah, I did a hike today and it went down into a neighborhood in Studio City about 30 minutes into the hike. Then you have the option of going back onto the trail and it starts going up very steadily and steep. Thankfully they have 1 million stairs to guide you up that way. What a great way to get exercise and observe the scenery altogether. This facility also is extraordinarily environmentally friendly. They have many volunteers to assist in planting native Californian vegetation in areas of need. For example, if there was a fire, the TreePeople will go and assist by planting trees to the devastated areas. This not for profit organization has a lot to offer. Beautiful hikes, nice people and they do something really good for the environment. Go and check them out and maybe even find out about donating a little bit to them. I think they are well deserving!

Jackie G.

Yelp
The hiking trails are great. But as a local who comes here all the time, the past couple days the parking lot hasn't been open until closer to 7am. As if someone forgets to do it.. This is frustrating for morning hikers. What's going in? Ot used to always be open when I'd come around 6

Yelp
I cant believe this has not been yelped yet. What the hell? So, in the middle of the real hills above beverly hills, Mulholland Drive (yes, i think of the scarry lynch movie too) and coldwater caynon, is Tree people. Tree people is a non profit that wants to make LA green again, and has a cool sanctuary dedicated to it. I would ride my mountain bike up runyon cyn, over 3 miles of hazardous mulholland drive, dodging every other mom with a Range rover. Place has easily 10 miles of trails and natural vegetation, and connects to at least 5 other trails that run through this place. I could ride in this area all day long, and everyone who hiked in the area was awesome, no elitists around. The also host classes, (they have classrooms, and a couple greenhouses that blend in with the vegetation) and many volunteer here or other places on weekends. It makes you wonder, what the hills looked like, before Paris was hauling ass through it after drinking her heart out at the standard and eating the in/out burger for her first meal of the day.
google avatar

Jay C.

Yelp
How can anyone give TreePeople anything but five stars? What is TreePeople? TreePeople is a vision of a fifteen-year-old boy who had an interest in collecting seeds of native species of trees. That became the non-profit TreePeople, which is now an organization of mostly volunteers that helps restore native species, remove invasive species, replant fire-devastated areas, and even water local trees suffering in the drought. TreePeople gets no federal, state, or local government funding and operates completely on volunteers and donations. The TreePeople facility maintains the lower canyon hiking trails, which is about 60 acres of outdoor activities. I am a volunteer for TreePeople and I think the organization is amazing in what they/we do, and the amount of pride that goes into the work. We are not hippies, but people whop have a genuine love for Los Angeles and it's vast array of landscapes. Loving L.A. includes loving the forests and wilderness within. Donate your time - two hours a week. I think you will be very happy that you did.
google avatar

Mia K.

Yelp
This is a great place for a casual hike. It's a clean park, pet friendly, with really clean bathrooms. It starts easy (most people turn right at the bottom of the stairs). The middle part is a walk through a neighborhood of beautiful, diverse houses. Kinda weird at first. Once you re-enter the park the second half is a steep, challenging incline. One loop takes me about 45-50 minutes. Parking is free off of Coldwater Canyon. There's another parking lot, too which I hear isn't free. I would come here more often it were closer to my house.
google avatar

Kristine M.

Yelp
I don't know who these Tree People are, sounds like a group out of Lord of the Rings or Star Wars, but I like what they are doing! First off they offer free parking to use Coldwater Canyon Park. You need to pay at the Fryman entrance. B. They have planted more than 2 million trees. 2 MILLION!! Bravo And lastly, They offer guided full moon hikes for $5, how awesome is that?! As well as summer performances in the outdoor amphitheater and youth programs to educate our children on urban forestry. Through volunteers and donations they are making LA greener and how can you not give that 5 stars? There are picnic tables, water fountains and benches galore all along their mulch lined trails which smell amazing by the way. What a breath of fresh air, literally.

naomi k.

Yelp
Website and voice mail all indicate that the park is open and drive there twice and it's closed. Terrible customer service, all needs to be updated and keep people informed please during this time.
google avatar

Geoff B.

Yelp
Nice little hike and jog, perfect. It's about 3 miles around, you do have to walk down a road for a third of it but completely worth it.
google avatar

Michelle H.

Yelp
Need a hike to kick your butt, this is one for you! Has many ups and downs, pushes you a bit, where sunscreen, and beware of snakes in the bushes. I have seen people run, walk, take their pets. Everything. Like with many trails they end so you have to turn around. You never know when they end though, I thought I would not make it, just because it took so long. Parking is free, this place gets busy on a nice day out. Weird about the trails is that the trails are inconsistent, meaning you will be walking on dirt one minute and the down the hike you will hit pavement. Overall, great place to grab some friends and look at the views!
google avatar

Anna B.

Yelp
This is a great hiking trail, with multiple routs! My favorite thing about tree people is that there arent very many trees and I get a pretty sexy tan by the end of the hike....well at first I get burnt then I get the sexy tan. Going on a weekday, this place is practically empty which is why I'm here so much, but on the weekends its pretty popular. Also great place to take your dog.
google avatar

Sacha M.

Yelp
My daughter has to do volunteer services for her high school & she picked TreePeople simply because we are a hiking family & enjoy the outdoors & TreePeople headquarters is 5 mins away from our house. We went today to volunteer & it was such a great experience. Everyone was so helpful & so nice. Think this will be my daughter's go to volunteer organization. Such a beautiful place.
google avatar

Yelp
Thanks. Amazing experience for my Husband and 12 year old boy alike. They will be back!
google avatar

Yelp
What a great place to take kids and have them learn why we have to help our forests and how we can play a part in keeping our earth soil healthy. The people who volunteer there are very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend for friends or family gatherings.

Yelp
4/25/2015 Amazing hike. You start at Laurel canyon, park your car and you stay your walk. It's about 1 1/2 miles up. Steep steep hills and 1 1/2 miles down. Your basically walking with a lot of people you don't know. There is a few stops up the hill where there is water for you and your dog. Once you reach the tree people, there is big bathrooms and they are so clean. Once you have reached the tree people your basically at Coldwater Canyon. Then it's downhill from there all the way to your car. The downhill is on about a 1/10 of a mile dirt road and the rest is a quiet residential streets all the way to your car. Loved it!
google avatar

Inna H.

Yelp
Tree People made me who I am. I started volunteering with them when I was 8 and grew up doing all the different tasks there are to be done. By the time I was ready to go to college, I had decided on a career in environmental studies. If you aren't into getting involved, come and enjoy the trails or the shows at the amphitheater. Tree People is dog-friendly and a great place to mountain bike. I hope to have my wedding ceremony there this year - if that doesn't work out - the engagement photos are a sure thing. My love for this place is boundless.
google avatar

Luke S.

Yelp
If you're looking for a less pretentious place aside from Runyon Canyon to take in city views and nature, I highly recommend Tree People. ...Not to mention, this place smells fantastic. It's about as refreshing as it's gonna get in Los Angeles. The trails veer off individually, but the one I took lead me all the way from Coldwater Canyon to Laurel Canyon- a nice exercise and a scenic route. So, Runyon Canyon or Tree People? Team Tree People, all the way.
google avatar

Jasmine A.

Yelp
Parking is always tuff but that's what happens when everyone LOVE and finds a Gem !!! Bathrooms are clean and dog friendly. I took Luigi for a nice little hike since his sister passing and he loves it of course but where I enjoy has no trees or shade and he just can't complete the trail. Theres a couple trails that are just fine
google avatar

Amy L.

Yelp
here's why tree people deserve five stars: -fun and knowledgeble staff which hooked my students in immediately. - they have an amazing eco-tour for grade school kids. if you're a teacher, try to apply early in the year for a free field trip. they have grants which will pay for a school bus and the tour fee. -exposing my students to things other than the typical sights one finds in the concrete jungle we live in. -seeing my students excited about the environment. -but most importantly, broadening their horizons. it was surely ONE of the most amazing experiences they've had this year and it was amazing for me as well. i look forward to coming back on my own and exploring this area more. on a quiet, clear day, you really do feel like you've left the city. ahhhhh......
google avatar

Karen L.

Yelp
I love coming here either with a friend or with my kindergarten class. We have been taking this field trip for about 17 years and it never disappoints. Parking is easy and there is a minimal charge ($5) for kids. Adults are free. For this small amount a full tour is included with one guide. A nice walk through the hiking trail leads to a visit with the famous "Dr. Dirt" who gives kids a hands on experience making mulch and tons of laughs! Kids get to plant their own trees in a tube and take them home to re-plant and grow. Kids discover various hidden clues and learn about the environment on the City Forest tour. This is my favorite field trip of all times! Be sure to eat lunch here and bring all reusable lunch ware.

Yelp
This was more like a nature reserve... it was almost too clean and man-made for me...

Yelp
I came here for a one-night art show with my sis and her children in tow and we all had a great time. It's always nice to get outdoors and take advantage of what this wonderful socal weather allows. Linda Kunik, the artist exhibiting was very friendly and approachable. I was able to teach the kids about art and nature while the grown ups sipped our wine and we all nibbled on empanadas and finger foods. Outside, we were surrounded by the hollywood hills and weird little structures so kids can run around and be kids. It was a wonderfully unique way to spend an evening with the family.
