We wanted to go to the area to try to get in some trout fishing. Didn't plan on bringing our own camper, but didn't want a hotel. Found Treetopia. Booked one of the two cabins back in March for a stay in June for three folks.||The cabin is quite cool, and was amazingly clean! Two bedrooms, one with two twins, and another with a queen. It has a wonderful deck that spans across the front, with a picnic table, two Adirondack chairs and a table, as well as comes with a Weber gas grill (it looked quite new and possibly only used once), and a Coleman gas camp stove. It also has a really nice fire ring, and two bundles of nice, dry wood come with the cabin.||The main room has an AC, as well as each bedroom. The bathroom is great, and looks very updated. It's a bit close to the road, but you have trees all around, so you're not baking in the sun. We were in Cabin #2, and there was a cool group of three younger couples in Cabin #1. They're right next to each other, but they were a good group, so there were no issues at all.||The cabin comes with four each large and smaller plates, and eating utensils for six, as well as four coffee mugs that are microwavable, and another 4 that are metal, a Keurig, and a bowl of coffee pods, sugar, and creamers. A very cool small retro fridge / freezer, and a small microwave, as well as a few various cooking utensils for the grill and camp stove. There are also some pots and pans for the on the camp stove. They also have a Brita water pitcher with filter. I'd recommend filling that when you first get there. The tap water has a bit of a funky smell to it, but with the filter, it was no issue for our coffee and tea in the morning. The beds have fitted sheets, pillows, and a top light top comforter. Yes, there's toilet paper in the bathroom, as well as four towels.||They also have the cool large tents on platforms over a "gathering" area underneath that would have been very appealing to us many years ago :-). As well as a variety of RVs and two "giant tiny houses" to stay in. They have a decent sized pool, which seemed very popular, especially with folks with kids.||Here are a couple things to note: Once you get there, they don't take credit / debit cards at the office, so bring some cash. The firewood bundles they sell are $12, but they're good size, and very dry wood (we had no issues with smoke due to how dry they were). Ice is $4. Also, it's a bit tough to communicate with them via phone, text, etc. which I mentioned when we first got there. ||In summary: All in all, we really enjoyed it. Very cool place to rent a unit. As for bringing our own camper there, I don't think we would, as the sites we *think* are available are pretty limited, as it looks like a lot of seasonal folks. If we had to go back there for whatever reason, we'd definitely rent one of the cabins, but see if we could get Cabin #2, for very small reasons regarding its setting from the road.
