We had high expectations of Treize au Jardin as we reserved our Thanksgiving dinner with them. When we came through the door, the hostess was bubbly and friendly. We also had guests tell us “It was great” as they were leaving. But our experience was far from great. We were led to the back of the restaurant by the kitchen. The table was tiny- while there were larger tables that remained empty right next to us. We were brought an amuse bouche that was good, but before we had three bites, our dinner plates were brought to us. In fact, we were rushed through the entire meal in about 50 minutes. The table was so small, that the amuse bouche had to be placed on a stool next to us. The food was below expectation of a €73 price (see picture). We asked for a wine list that never arrived. The waitresses were yelling into the kitchen from behind us. We were brought a broccoli casserole and mac and cheese that were in an aluminum and paper tray. They were cold and hard. We only learned of a cornbread and biscuit course by hearing another customer get their order, and had to ask for ours, though it was supposed to be included. We mentioned to our waitress that the wine list was not brought, when she said she’d get it, it was too late and we just asked for our dessert to go and for our bill. When we paid the bill, my wife said that it wasn’t great when asked how it was. The cashier did not have a rejoinder to her comment. As a final kick in the teeth, we got home and opened the tin that the pie was put in and found a slice that was about 2 inches. I’m a travel content creator and I do not like writing bad reviews. But I feel it would be a disservice to my audience to not mention how poor this experience was in a city with the world’s best restaurants.

Having our Thanksgiving meal at Treize au Jardin was truly special. The warmth and joy in the air was infectious — the excellent service and buzz of happy diners made a great atmosphere for celebrating an American holiday in Paris. The food and wine was excellent and can’t recommend this experience enough.

Amazing brunch, every bite was full of flavor. The cocktails were also very tasty and unique. The interior and ambiance is cozy and eclectic. I definitely want to come back and try every dish.

What a find nestled in the heart of Paris! The crustless Quiche(they let you know it takes 15-20mins to make) was well worth the wait! Came with salad and scone and very delicious! Service was outstanding! We sat outside to enjoy the atmosphere!

It’s just worth it for the lovely welcome itself! The owner couldn’t have been more charming and the biscuits are to die for! Loved the eggs, jam and biscuits with bacon 🥓! The pancakes weren’t my speed, but then again, they rarely are! A couple suggestion to take it from really good to great…the waiter was laid back, but a bit too laid back! Some water for the table when seated, and with few people there when it opens remembering the coffee order is a must! Ok, I’m being picky, but only because I adore this place enough to want it to be great!!! Oh and the decor is absolutely charming!!!! The music selection was 🔥 Some Dire Straits, Romeo & Juliette and Aretha, which the owner sang along to!

Lovely place. The owner is friendly and she’s such a vibe. I ordered the Benedict and the butter biscuit was out of this world. The mushrooms and tomatoes were seasoned to perfection. However, the poached eggs lacked a bit of salt otherwise the dish would’ve been absolutely amazing. The mini pastries were absolutely good, and the scones were absolutely delicious.

Yelp
I came for lunch with a friend. I had the artichoke tart with a side of sausage. It was good, but nothing remarkable. The place can get loud. Service was just OK as the server got the order a bit mixed up. You can probably do better, unless you want an American style brunch.

Yelp
We loved this breakfast so much! Upon scanning the menu, I picked up on some southern American influence like buttermilk biscuits & tomato jam- but they did it so much better and with a French flare! We loved speaking to the woman who sat us, she seemed to be the owner and it turned out she was from the southern United States! She was very sweet and was working so hard to keep the line short, pulling out tables and chairs for anyone who walked up. We did not have a reservation and she made a spot for us immediately! Wonderful twist of American-meets-French breakfast! The ambiance is adorable and eclectic. Would recommend to anyone!

Yelp
Amazing little cafe with impressive meals and a pleasant beer selection. This place features a southern-US component to their menu with pulled pork and their take on chicken & waffles but with biscuit French toast and oven fried chicken. I had the veggie quiche and it was stunning. Plenty of food and a salad as well. Reasonable prices and Jay the English speaking manager is awesome. Did I mention view of the Luxembourg gardens and beautiful people walking by? I wish I had room for the gorgeous desserts. Last note, you can get real iced tea here, not Euro iced tea...I will be back!

Yelp
Servers were awesome, food was a 6/10. Pancakes are a bit dense but come with a yummy apple compote. The best was the apple salad and the kale salad! Biscuits were also so yummy!! Pulled pork was not great.

Yelp
Just downstairs from our Airbnb apartment was this great new cafe. Seems to be owned/staffed by Americans so English isn't an issue. The sign inside says "Bienvenue Ya'll". Outside are lots of plants and whitewashed tables. It's a very pretty cafe. We had Sunday brunch there and I went down later in the afternoon for a drink. I had the broccoli bacon apple salad with a buttermilk biscuit on the side. Amazing! Lightly dressed and every bite was tasty. The broccoli was lightly cooked which I appreciated as I don't care for it raw and crunchy. My husband and son each got the French toast, one with sausage and the other with bacon. Not a speck left on the plates. They did a good job with the flavors all around. All organic too. I went back later and had a Moscow Mule as it was super hot that day. I sat on the terrace (no smoking allowed, yay!) and sipped my drink and read a book. They make their own ginger syrup and this mule was plenty spicy and sweet. I loved it. They are having a very low key soft opening, I was told. This is a new incarnation of Treize in this new location. I hope they do well - they were delightful and the food and drink was excellent.

Yelp
Waited 20 min for server. Went inside and she said she'd be right with is. Waited another 15 min and left unserved. 35 min total!!

Yelp
We visited 13 au Jardin on a Sunday afternoon around 3 pm. There was a line, but we were seated outside within 10 minutes and got to enjoy the beautiful spring weather. We were very quickly brought a bottle of free tap water and ordered a Gin Ginger Fizz cocktail and a Brewdog Punk IPA. The cocktail was strong in a great way and so refreshingly citrusy, and my boyfriend enjoyed his beer. Our food came out within 10 minutes despite every table being filled, and it was perfection. I got the Treize Benedict and the delicious crispy biscuit was the star! The mushrooms, kale, and tomatoes were a flavorful and light substitute for the typical protein in an eggs benedict. Every element of my boyfriend's Southern Plate was a 10/10. I'm from Texas and I LOVED their pulled pork. It's a huge amount of food and a great value. The owner was also so sweet and greeted every guest. We'd give 6/5 stars if possible!

Yelp
13 au Jardin is a hip restaurant located across from the Jardin du Luxembourg. The interior is luscious green, decorated with various potted plants and herbs. The tables are adorned with cute pepper plants and vines hang from the walls. Just as the restaurant itself is earthy and visually pleasing, its ingredients are locally-sourced, and its dishes masterfully plated. The restaurant gives off low-key American country vibes: the menus and walls are scrawled with hospitable southern slang. Menu items include the French Toast and Not-Fried Chicken, the "Inconceivable!" Princess Bride Omelet, and Quinoa Porridge, in addition to an extensive drink menu--two pages of any tea, coffee, beer, or wine anyone could possibly want. My friends and I ended up ordering the French toast/Not-Fried Chicken and the omelet, with each item costing a whopping €17. We had to wait quite a bit before the food came out for our group of three, perhaps since we stopped by rather early in the morning. Fortunately, there's a lot more substance to the food than meets the eye. Although we were initially disappointed by the seemingly tiny portion sizes, we were satisfied by the end of the meal. My omelet came with a side salad and a biscuit. I can't say the omelet was anything special, except maybe that it had a bountiful assortment of vegetables unlike the usual tomato/spinach/mushroom combination found in most omelets. The salad was topped with an interesting dried fruit and seed mix, but like the omelet, tasted like any generic salad. The French toast was slightly better. Soft on the inside yet somewhat crunchy on the outside, it consisted of an intriguing juxtaposition of textures. The drizzle of honey gave it the perfect amount of sweetness, and the mango topping and sprinkle of dry nuts gave the dish a sweet and salty finish. The Not-Fried Chicken was alright but paled in comparison to the French toast. Overall, I felt like it was a steep price to pay for mediocre food, although I appreciated the sustainability and aesthetic of the food.

Yelp
Great little cafe directly opposite the Luxembourg Gardens. The owner was so gracious and gave us the WiFi code since we didn't have cell service. The wines were delicious and reasonably priced, service was excellent, the bathrooms super clean and nice.

Yelp
The tarte aux artichauts (artichoke quiche) was AMAZING! (With bacon...) the service was friendly - even though they were slammed. I would definitely go here again. Ambiance is amazing too- great place to grab lunch or a cocktail!

Yelp
I'll add to the praise here. Great food and a very helpful staff. Right across from the Luxembourg gardens. My wife had the quinoa salad and I had the chicken and French toast. Both were excellent. I only wish the menu were just a tad larger so we might be tempted to come back sooner.

Yelp
My favorite lunch:). Service was fantastic and friendly and food was delicious. I had pecan crusted chicken with French toast, husband had quiche(huge wedge!), daughters had artichoke pie....everything was delicious! Highly recommend:)
